As a 2005 NSX owner I feel enthusiasts have come around and now appreciate how good the new NSX is. I would love to own one but even 2017 models have appreciated $20k. I have reviewed a 2017 and 2019 models and I feel there is a noticeable difference in the improvements to the 2019. Used car pricing reflects this as well. Lots of little tweaks to the 2019 that makes a big difference. Is it worth an additional $20k over the 2017 model? its up to you to decide.

It's not Ferrari assuming people love to drive a Prius in the city so their cars should be a Prius in the city too. Besides, these cars are fully configurable, so it's not even taking something away from the driver, just adding options if you want to drive this like an EV in the city, out of the garage early in the morning or whatever.

I think the biggest controversy with this car is the steering.
    Very precise? Yes
But the weighting feels off in relation to what you are doing…it doesn’t feel quite right and that is because it’s 100% simulated with software. Honda engineers had to deaden the steering to prevent the wheel from tearing out of your hands while the front motors do their thing. • @aaryeshg.6526

This is actually the reason why Europe now has regs in place to make cars have soft limiters (essentially it limits cars to 2k-3k rpm when standing still).
Some cars also have the PPF in the exhaust that reduces the noise (makes it sound blunt).
Now they can't be obnoxiously loud in the city. Ofcourse it has ruined the sound of cars today but hey this was their fault.

Not that I hate this thing, but you guys keep talking about how it's unparalleled at this price point, meanwhile the C8 has the same platform setup (mid-engined 'budget' super car), costs HALF the price, same quarter mile, faster 0-60, similar top speed, more luggage space, and you can get it with mag ride. And the E-Ray will have electric FWD similar to this.
So maybe this has better steering feel, IDK, but I'd still say the C8 is a direct competitor to this for a fraction of the cost & I'd honestly take the C8 for less than 1/2 the price, more practicality, and significantly less complexity without the turbos and electric hybrid setup. This is a budget compared to Ferraris, sure, but it's expensive compared to the C8.

I'm not a Vette guy, but I at least acknowledge the new mid engine one exists. When comparing cars, the current Corvette is just as capable as all the cars you're comparing this NSX to for a third the price. I don't get the blind spot other than the Corvette was generally shitty for the first half-a-century y’all don’t want to acknowledge the corvette exists. I might too, but have been around three midengine ones, they are very, very good. One is even owned by a ex-Porsche guy (longer story involving a divorce) so he had to “settle” for a 2021 Vette and is now a convert. The Corvette is real contenders for anyone who doesn’t have a log up their arse and the leaked specs on the Z06 will, for anyone with only $80K, give them a sub-10 second quarter mile 0-60 2.4-ish 0-60 car.
