    LOL I said to use 2 students to measure the force T_T

    I would disagree with some claim of the experiment in this video:
    1. Calculating the radius is hard, considering the size of the rod. I would suggest measuring the diameter using a caliper, then devide it into 2 to find the radius
    2. Placing a spring scale in the other end causes the deformity of the plastic rod to change. I suggest putting it on a fixed wall, and weight the block beforehand.
    I'm not sure if this is a good advice or not, so please let me know what you think

      I would agree that 1 would reduce error, but there's nothing inherently wrong with using a ruler. The calipers do have a higher degree of accuracy.
      It's not clear to me why a spring scale would cause a deformity but a mass at the end wouldn't. In both cases, you have to vary the force at the end which will ultimately cause some strain. The accuracy of using masses will be based on what the smallest unit of mass you add until the rod breaks. However, either method should be considered an acceptable answer.

    Bruhh as an indian and former jee aspirants all the questions seems pretty easy and reall conceptual that's why i like it cuz checks your understanding of concepts instead of how much you can cram and learn like in Jee Main. Jee adv is really great tho and difficult lol.
    Also, i think for most asians this is easy cuz our syllabus in high school is what's taught in the first yr of college.

    Do you know if they will ever release the frqs from the 2nd admin?

    • @AllenTsaoSTEMCoach
      @AllenTsaoSTEMCoach  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's looking more like they won't release them at all. I'm not sure though.

    If I drew a quadratic for students b curve but it didn’t go through the point (2r,4f) how many points would I lose.

    Could I use a force sensor to measure the Fmax?

    • @AllenTsaoSTEMCoach
      @AllenTsaoSTEMCoach  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you describe how you would use the force sensor to measure Fmax, that would be perfectly fine.

    • @AllenTsaoSTEMCoach
      @AllenTsaoSTEMCoach  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      College Board will randomly give a smaller group of schools a different exam. Sometimes even in the same class, different exams will be administered.

      Yeah it sucks. You were part of the unlucky ones. I believe your teacher will have more details on how your test was graded when the scores are released over the summer.
