Tesla makes one template and throws in some mass produced PC hardware that will barely be used but impresses their core demographic of tech nerds. It's so refreshing to see this kind of relaxed and realistic approach, versus the overly studied, fakely happily, everything's fine Apple way this days. It shows how humanly proud and honestly involved he is with his products and the future of the company. Hope it's continues this way.

Sounds like you’ve driven a 2001 Volkswagen for your whole life. Look at Porsche and BMW’s infotainment. It’s the best in the market at the moment. In fact, I think that tesla’s moving backwards. The gauge cluster (speedometer) moving to the center screen is stupid, and causes a lot more distraction. Apple Carplay or Android Auto is scrapped.

Tesla makes one template and throws in some mass produced PC hardware that will barely be used but impresses their core demographic of tech nerds. That's why Tesla will never become a dominant car manufacturer I believe.
