Mortgage is not everlasting. You only pay until 25 years or even less depending on how much you can pay every month. Also after you complete the mortgage payment you can sell the house double of what you paid for. Mortgage is a big investment if you don’t know. You can also get a mortgage and give it out for rent so in that case people are people of ur mortgage not you.

This my advice to investors. I have just spoken to the owner of this estate, all the properties are Leasehold for fifty year or seventy years, buying this property is not 100% ownership, if you pay your dollars, you only own the property for just fifty year, please potential investors, I advice you consult your solicitors to take a deep look into the documentation of this properties, As for me, I am looking for a property that I will have 100% ownership after payment. however I enjoyed all the property displays but for me I am not interested in any leasehold property, Freehold properties is better and give you more right to do whatever you want in your house. and pass it on to your children.

link me up Sir. I just moved to Ghana in January 2019 from Germany after spending over 2 decades there. I invested all my savings ( cash ) from Germany in Ghana. I started earning money in Ghana while heavily making preparations to finally repatriate. I came to Ghana doing my businesses successfully, then came COVID-19 and messed up some portion of my businesses.
BUT,,,, one particular investment of my businesses compensated ( profit ) all the other businesses, which were affected by COVID-19,,,
Infact, i was positively shocked to witness this, even in times of COVID-19,,,
Anybody interested in investing in Ghana without any headache or stress, should kingly contact me for further details...
By the way, Germany is a thing of the past for me,,,, i have found the right source to invest my money into,,,,
I am preparing to also sell my 3 Bedroom apartment in Germany and invest here in Ghana,,,,

Price of solar panels are going down. It's already cheaper than wind power or coal power. There's however the problem with the power generated only during the day, but it makes is perfect as an additional source of power in the country, since the need for power is highest during the day. I dont believe the future is to store the power in batteries near the house. Such storing is too expensive. It is however a good idea to use excess power during day to charge cars, produce hydrogen from water or accumulate it by pumping water into closed lakes in the mountainside, and use this water to run turbines when there's a need for power.
Btw. In todays world with low interest rates the initial cost is not a problem, when the investment is secured and the demand is present.

I really enjoy your videos. Being an African American woman, I would love to have another place to go and live from my roots. I was a little disappointed that we are not allowed to buy homes in Nigeria. I was actually married to an African man of which things did not work out. This did not mean that I did not still want to have a home there for myself and my child. I said this is just not fair! When Africans relocate to America and pick the money they do very well desire from the American trees, there is no problem. But, for us who our ancestors were sold into slavery, we cannot save up our money like you did and buy land wherever we desire in Africa! It’s not fair. At least Akon is trying to do something for us so that we have somewhere else to go.
    Thank you as we wait!

Hold on to the great parts of your culture: affordable homes, modest living, eating off the land, riding bikes, etc. Many people here in the West desire those things but the governments have made it painfully difficult for many. Do not take on the ways of the oppressors.

My goal is to build better hospitals in Ghana like how it is in the U.S. When I finish school, get married, and ready to start a family I am definitely coming back to live here with my family. Much love to you Wode Maya. Your videos are helping me think of great ideas to do in Ghana while I am living in the US. I support you my brodaaaa. Africa To The World.

i am Ethiopian living in London for the last 30 years.like most of diasporas i want to spend the rest of my time dividing Addis and London.your $36000 affordable flats impressed me.really affordable, well built with a lot of addition like solar energy.i met a lot of Ghanians her in London.most of them are trustworthy and friendly that is why god is helping Ghana.back home in Addis similiar size flat with less quality material cost us no less than £130000.i am not exaggerating.i will send you proof for what i said.my question to you is how can manage to sell less than third of Addis Ababas price?
your show is great.definately i will visit Ghana shortly

I think the problem in your country is all due to demand not meeting supply. Ethiopia being the 2nd most populated country in Africa and for the last two decade it had experienced significant economic growth and as a result it created many more wealthy individuals who are able to afford homes that cost 3-4 times as much what it would cost in countries like Ghana.

Yohanes, I do feel your pain. I'm Ethiopian as well. My African friends think I'm bullshiting when I tell them about the housing prices in Addis. I highly doubt it's just about supply and demand. I feel like loose enforcement of rules and regulations also played a big role in the increase of housing price in the nation. I have seen houses in Ethiopia worth $750.000. That's about 30 million Birr. They're not even that impressive in my opinion. I'm hearing that after goverment introduced new money notes prices have gone down a bit. I guess we will have to wait and see what the future holds. Good luck on your future endevotes!

Hi Maya. Thank you so much for Real estate successful stories uploads. We need more videos of Africans who have made it in Real estate. Plz sensitize on HOW did they make the zero to 1st stage...with our typical african environment on financing/ capital & purchasing power. How did they get started, thats the most important question for us young Africans. Be blessed for the work done so far, we are so inspired and we are implementing some of the good models / lessons from your video uploads
