I've always loved Jamie T... so refreshing when everything else sounds so samey, he hits out with a lo-fi, back to basics, fool around track. Definitely got his own thing going. And another great performance on the Jool Holland show, as usual.

***** 1 - He made his career as a rapper...so what if it wasn't conventional hip hop beats, he was still rapping, 2 - This is a type of punk. Punk isn't all Sex Pistols and Ramones, there are heaps of sub-genres and fusion genres-just like every other genre

Jamie T was so fresh and interesting.
I always looked at him as a sort of Bob Dylan type, not the greatest singer but could write some really good songs.
Some deep lyrics in his songs that fly right over a lot of peoples heads.
I would rather hear someone sing like him than someone doing runs trying to be Mariah, he has a proper punk voice.
