the black keys represent everything thats right with the music industry today, they show you where persistence, talent and hard work will get you, without gimmicks or dipshit belieber style followers. ROCK ON THE KEYS
Thing is, they started with a gimmick! There was just guitar and drums, like a newer White Stripes Now they've lost that gimmick At least they still write good music...
Rowan kingsley They couldn't afford keys and bass because they were just two guys in a van touring the US in-between albums. If anyone deserves respect, it's TBK.
i love pat, but sometimes he tends to play a bit in-front of the song and speed it up slightly. i see that becomes a trend with some of their televised performances. and im not hating, im just saying he does sometimes.
I think he's one of those percussionists who plays distinctly and off beat. It's been used in old pop songs before, listen to A Day in the Life by the Beatles as an example of alternative drumming.
pat has a distinctive style but is not very precise sometimes. I love Franz Ferdinand, too, despite the fact that Alex Kapranos is a not very good singer.
Not a massive fan of this song and it feels like their trying to force energy into it. Can't wait for the album from what I've heard written about it. Just a shame they released this song first. A song similar to the Chulahoma stuff, just one, would be nice for the soul haha!
Every band has to develop. Also, while they are definitely moving away from their previous blues-rock style into one more pop-orientated (likely due to Danger Mouse's input becoming more prominent), in my opinion this song still sounds definitively Black Keys. Besides, keyboards have been used on every album of theirs since 2008's Attack & Release.

Hell Yeah Black Keys Rock
Thing is, they started with a gimmick!

calvinio1234 not really a gimmick, they just didnt need bass or keys. It would have been just as popular with them

Holy shit...the moment he started singing I really got goosebumps...its just so fuckin close to the studio version, he really is a top notch singer.
My favourite band of all time, I love you so much!!!! All my support from France 🇫🇷
The drummer of The Black Keys = The question guy from Pointless
DA Lord EXPERIANCE and Andrew Garfield on keyboard
I have always thought that. He really does look like him.
he looks like danny carey a bit
Has far as I'm concerned, they are the best band on the planet. I absolutely love their music.
"You shook me like I've never been
Now show me how to live again..." ♡
is Elmo on backing vocals?

I love The Keys!!!!
I prefer this live to the studio version. I don't know why - i guess it just sounds more free.
Same! I think the exact same for bullet in the brain and a lot of their other songs
Pats smile at 2:13 😂😂😂
GREAT VOCAL....another gem from a very credible album.....summer vibe.....cider, beer any whatever fits into BUDGET😉😉
Great band!!
First I heard of these like this song
Hahaha same thoughts
Immense composition of funky, wild , magic music !!
Sensacional...
whoever is doing the backing vocals, should stop inhaling helium before shows
The bass player is using a vocal processor.
I love that performance.
Tremendos !
simplesmente fantástico
Amazing live performance
I felt like he was channeling Animal from Police Academy this night lol
Sounds more black keys than the studio version
💜
la postura è importante!!
Awesome
Guitar is a Custom Kraft late 60's, related to the Kay/Valco brands.
JOYA
Seeee
the bass
Dan Auerbach
Ten Lovers!!
FEVER
Класс 🤘
Feeever‼ :D
Great. It's better in live!
This song sounds way better in the live version.
Apart from the backing vocals
i want the turn blue album now now now please
In my opinion the backing vocals sounds cool
La raja!! \o/ son bakaaaaan!!!
My god the chap on the drums my bother joe
James Blake in keyboards
What make and model of guitar is that?
Love to see Damon Albarn "band" waiting in back stage.
First on the wave love listen again
who makes those tom sounds in the verse?

i love pat,

+Václav Čepelák čus Čechu ! další českej fanda BK :D jupí
+Gandalf the Grey Tady další :D
Pat is the best worst drummer... like Ringo. We love him anyways, Black Keys wouldn't be the same with another drummer.
They could've done so much more with this song, just play this riff and solo on guitar, and this song becomes so much more exciting...
Did they play another song in this show?
Nope
Ricardo Anderson
I mean songs from the last album "Turn Blue" x)
What type of guitar its that one?
+ChopSuey Thanks for the help cutie 😊
It's a Custom Kraft DLX - Greenburst. Good value though
Victorium1 Don Bosco Tysm!! (:
Clark Kent In the drums
what a voice !!!.. he needs to sleep though
Ana H because..???
Whats up with the drummer? Its weird but it seems thst he play faster in the chorus
Take "FEVER" and put "God" in place, it's at least "curious"...
this is exactly what I think when I hear this music. because in the music video, Dan Auerbach is in a church.
Clumsy Drums
Pat has always said he isn't best drummer, he doesn't pretend to be a brilliant drummer either.
"Rock ain't about doing things perfect."
"rock is about the passion, man."
Chris Dorgan He's far from being perfect. He's terrible... Creative in studio, though...
Who cares? Patrick is one of the grooviest drummers around.
Daniel Sharman What is it then?
:)
I love this song, I suppose because of the harmonic progression. I invite anyone who wants to listen to an easy piano cover to my channel
can the guy sounding like elmo stop backing on the vocals and leave dan to it
Dan lookin like he doing the brown...o_o

0.47 toms but drummer doesn’t play them? What?
All through the song it happens
It’s the keyboard player, you can see him do it in the second verse
really dislike the keyboard tone
It always sounds as if they're building up to a massive dirty solo at the end and I'm always disappointed :(
what the hell black keys... where did the raw dirty blues sound go? why would you trade that for open cords + gay keyboards? this is crap.. :(
Totally agree, this shit lacks the awesome beats they are good for. Keyboard is terrible

Bar chords.
Forget the new Black keys- Shit!
