The coat and horse are the only value in it in my opinion. But that's a hard debate unless youre truly going 100% the game then it is worth it for the style

I'm kind of tempted since I really want the Thestral Mount but I'm a bit annoyed it wasn't included
I'm mixed on it. Given the size of the game and play time I didn't mind spending out a touch extra for it.
So you can't just catch a festival and write it vanilla game?

20 Dollars for cosmetics basically 😕 the thestral mount is what i want, but since it isn't really that different from the hippogriff and just looks cooler, I think the pack is more expansive that it's worth

even on sale for like $12 atm, i think the only thing that looks somewhat amazing is that robe, the broom mount seems just as fast at that emaciated dragon mount and theres plenty of things to cast spells on in open world so i guess its a hard pass from me. i was hoping this dlc made your path in the game a bit darker, or npcs treat u different. ty for making this short video. you saved me $12. have an awesome day sir.

my opinion is that the dark arts dlc is good but wearing together is cool but with the emsemble and some fancy clothing you can look like some fancy criminal or even simply whitout coat and just the emsemble it look great especially with a brown haired and blue eyes characters
here a character idea:
face preset: 2
eyebrown preset: 18
eye colour: the bluest you can have and if you're on pc download brighter eyes mode to make it look cooler
hair: any male hairstyle you want
hair colour: brown or dark brown
scar: none
freckles: 3rd dot coming from the left but depend if you don't want one
moles: none
outfit: dark art emsemble or the hogwart provisor outfit (forgot its name the one you unlock when you unlock the door the provisor outfit with the key near the end of the game with challange)
its just an idea i want to try but i think its gonna look good (am on pc so might be a little different)

You're welcome. It is quite an ask for a few bits of content. It is nice content. It is a game you can spend many hours on, so depends if you think you'll use those bits enough to warrant the cost.

It's $29.95 in Australia, I bought the disc on special for under $100 Australian dollars so it's probably not worth as it's near 1/3 the price of the game (ps5)

I only have a PS4 so when it does come out(assuming it's not a buggy mess, do you think I should get the deluxe edition? Like how often do you use the clothes, thestral, and arena?
Early days in the game much of the gear looks rubbish so I wore the Dark Arts outfit a lot there instead of the house uniform. The Thestral looks cool, but I usually use my broom as it's a bit faster and easier to fly on. The arena took me all of 15 mins or so to do. Fun, but I doubt I'd do that again. The pack is just about worth it, but it's close in my opinion and it's certainly not essential. The game is a lot of fun though. There's a good 40 hours of content that I've enjoyed exploring. For any Potter fan, I think it's a wonderful experience.
Thanks for this video man, now I don’t need to buy the deluxe edition which became even more expensive, although most of the value was maybe on playing earlier. And the price alone is a joke. So yeah, when the dlc is on sale I’ll buy it, otherwise this is as ridiculous as the collector’s edition.
You're most welcome. It's not an important option to play the game. Nicer than the starting gear, but you soon collect some alright stuff as you play the game.

The game releases on the Switch tomorrow so decided to get it as something to do when on the train etc, this helped a lot when deciding whether or not to get the regular or deluxe edition (only a £10 difference), but decided it might make the first portion of the game more enjoyable so I may as well (plus to buy the dlc after getting the standard edition it’s £17, so save £7 by getting deluxe on the idea that I’d end up buying the dlc anyway)

The pack will just be the add ons so not the full game.
THat's one ulgy mount , modders created a steam punk broom stick which looked much better
Some people like Thestrals, some don't. Sounds cool on a steam punk broom!
I haven't gotten the game yet but I can buy the ultimate version for 6 or seven dollars more than the standard. I'm just wondering if the dark arts pack gives you better stats or buffs over the gear you find in the game. Just wanna know if it's worth the 7 dollars more to get the ultimate version of the game.
I show exactly what you get in this vid. No buffs or stat advantage. The pack gives purely cosmetic items and a battle arena. The Thestral mount looks pretty cool, as does the Dark Arts suit. Personally I think it's worth the $7, but depends if you like the look of the stuff on offer.
It's $19.99 US the mount isn't really worth it to me since my go to is a broom
Yeah, I prefer the broom too. It's more nimble. I liked the outfit initially, but as I levelled up I found gear I preferred the look of. Thanks for commenting!

Depends if you'll use them much. Personally, I rarely used flying mounts. The broom is easier to land. I did wear the dark arts outfit for a while until I found something I preferred the look of.

I was not going to get this but even after 10hrs in it I still have a lot to do and see on the map. So got it you won't get the hat that moves now didn't care but would of been nice to get it all lol

I don't think so. More interesting in early game IMO.
I feel like people want the robe more than anything but I think it should be made cheaper. You don’t get much at all.

Quick Question do they give you dark arts Spells
Only for use in the Dark Arts Battle Arena. For normal use you unlock them during the game following Sebastian's quests and asking to learn them from him.
not sure if buying the standard edition then this costs less than just buying the deluxe edition but still that fact you can buy deluxe edition then finds out everyone can buy the items they paid extra for? if i’m wrong tell me please :)
On release if I recall right, the Deluxe worked out slightly cheaper than buying the things seperate. Probably about the same now.

It used to be findable on the shop. Try a search for dark arts. If not there, they may have stopped selling it?

The battle area? No. They unlock gradually during the game when progressing Sebastian's quest line. Only if you choose to learn them.
That's a good tip, was contemplating on getting the pack to be able to use unforgivable curses, but if we're able to learn it through normal quest then i likely won't get it, the clothing is pretty meh Thestral is cool but ain't worth the upgrade@@GrubMagnet
on ps5 for 10 dollars, id LOVE the arena cus yk i wanna do avada kedarva but idk if its worth i mean i feel like some of the cosmetics are cool but id loveeee if Theres was just one skull. either way im pretty sure you can refund the dlc if you dont like it no?

Up to you whether you feel it's worth it. You can unlock dark arts spells later in the game by following certain quest lines and decisions. But it takes time. The arena just lets you use them and play with them before that, but only in the area.

It's pretty linear the story progression. You can't really skip parts to get to it. But it's a nice, interesting story. Enjoy the journey. 🙂
Do I need this pack to unlock the killing curse
Nope.
I don't know if you already figured this out but to unlock the killing curse all you need to do is complete sebastians quest line and when he ask you whether or not you wanna learn it say "nows a better time than any" I believe and then you'll get it 😁
Do you get to use the unforgivable curses outside the arena?
No. You can only get access to them quite a bit into the game.

Does it come with quest?
No. Just what I say in the vid. You get the battle arena which is fun but pretty quick to complete.
Do you keep the curse spells
No. You can only practice with them. You can optionally learn the curses through several quests in the game. Sebastian Sallow's quest line is what you want for these.
I was gonna buy it but I spent $20 on something else I really wanted but next time I get 20 on my card I will def buy it totally not just because I like spending money and stuff🤭
