This video proves 2 things:
1) the bad guys always get the coolest powers
2) Skilled wizards in the HP universe are comedically over powered.
The main playable character in this game is such a perfect example of #2. I mean, I love it and love the game, but holy hell is the skill level of our player absolutely ridiculous. As if the ancient magic schtick wasn't enough 😂

I so love that combo of cursing all the enemies around the one you hit with Crucio and then killing everyone at once with the aid of Avada Kedavra Mastery 😈

I didn't think the combat would be as fun as it is. It's even more fun when you put a trainer that gives you unlimited abilities and you can just go around roasting everyone

I love the moral judgement comments the character make.. Like you literally just used all unforgivable curses several times in one fight. To then end the battle with some moral grandstanding of how bad poachers are xD

Also no reaction of npc is pretty bad. I mean even skyrim had good interaction with npc, they should add something.

This game is really good. I just bought my first broom and the whole game is really opening up. The world is huge
I can’t believe how HUGE the map is and how long it takes to travel from end to end at top speed. Wow. Brilliant game, although the gender neutral references when speaking of your character like “they/their/theirs” is BS. It shouldn’t have been difficult to use the correct gender pronouns for the character.
Man they really outdid themselves with this game. Im loving every minute of it!!

This is the stuff the Harry Potter series was missing. They barely showed any magical battles.
Yea I wish they had more battles. It was more of a running errands game but overall still enjoyable just wish there was more intense combat
The fact they didn’t make the broom a quick button is strange!
l1 pauses combat, it is quick. You can even jump off a cliff/tower and L1 + o to hop on your broom. Game still is awful but yeah, have fun doing that once or twice.
I laughed every time a goblin hit in the face with a barrel.

Activists are beyond crazy. I have LGBTQ friends and they said it would be asinine to ruin this game because of what the author of the book said. That tells you something about today's cancel culture.

You *kinda* do, but it’s allocated to an upgrade of the dodge mechanic, where if you hold down the dodge button, you turn into a moving ball of smoke like in the movies and basically dodge a farther distance away and with longer I-frames. It is really neat and really useful, but yeah, I do wish you could fly around like that. I suppose the game reasons it away because you’re still a fifth year student and really, we’ve only ever seen adults continuously use that spell for flight.
@@thegrimcritic5494 he means something simular to mount mechenics type of fly. Like u actually turning into a grey cloud and flying around as a grey cloud. The dodge is awesome. But its not a fly mechanic.
I like Harry Potter, but i'm not good at it's lore, but from what i know flying like a Voldemort will be a Lore breaking, because Voldemort are the one who invent it, so no one can do that before his time.

Why is the whole world full of "bad guys" though? It would be nice to see some regular people just camping out or good wizards too. Don't want to turn a corner and every time there's a poacher standing there.

I use the ancient magic myself. One shotting anything is hilarious when you've gotten far enough.

It’s a gather game mostly. But if you enjoy HP universes it’s worth it even though it become pretty repetitive.
There is no game like elden ring. It is very generic rpg where your choices doesn't matter, but it js more exploration game of hp universe.

Best Rpg I've ever played, even though it's nowhere near as deep as what it could be. Even if you're not a Harry Potter fan you'll love it
(Just to clarify, I'm not saying this is the best game ever, it's all subjective to your own personal tastes. But as far as RPGs go, there has never been one that actually appealed to me as much as something from the HP universe would, that's what makes it the best RPG ever for ME)

Game is definitely cool. It’s sort of mundane after a while. There are only like 5 different enemies and the spell setup could have been better but overall finitely worth playing. The platinum grind is tedious.

Tbh the combat is something out of a disney game. Still not on a groundbreaking level. Can't cast huge spells as well. Perfect game for the gullible mainstream audience.
Just played through it and I found it somewhat enjoyable, long loading screens, few enemies, short storyline and repetitive quests were the major downsides. I remember previously owning a harry potter game for nintendo wii, and as I recall there was more to dueling, more enemies and longer game. Only downside was that the wii game wasn`t open world. Idk kinda dissapointed, clips looked good game was meh.
