    one of your many great vids!
    what’s the best beginner &/or free software you recommend for photo editing (to remove the wires)?

      Thanks for watching! My next video is going to be a full tutorial on wires and removing them 😁
      But I would recommend downloading “Adobe Photoshop fix” on you phone! It’s a free software that can remove wires 😂

    I’ll get me that. Wire.would. Regular hang wire work too. Or it has to be. Like you’re a just. Asking. Soon I’ll post. Too. On my Instagram

    Blue tack works to and its invisible so no edit required. Only work on smooth surface though. But if you shoot on dirt yoi probably could hide the wire under dirt. Clone tool is nice and all but it still could be noticed with a good eye on a 2nd glance. Content aware is less noticeable or just take 2 different images with and without the subjects and erarse the wires later. Trust me it works awesome.

    I just watched the "Mountain Dew and Toy Photography!" video about your power rangers figures, and noticed your two foot figure. How would you pose something with that much mass, in say, two inches of snow?

  • @ohjoshua67
    @ohjoshua67 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a Sonic Jazwares 5 inch figure from 2011 and when make it stand it always falls and maybe this video will help.

    Hi Jared. I smashed my nose on your great work here on YT and... wow! How great and inspiring is! Not only for toy photography... or practical effetcts! It's how you turn a big natural environment in a "cinematographic mini-studio set" or a "natural miniature diorama". But I'm an old T-Rex man... and i want say to you how i apreciate your humility in your approach and all your "safety warnings" for the use of pyro effects. If may I add something... watch what Johnny Wu (aka SgtBananas) do with small led-lights set-up and other practical effects (snow, rain, dust, smoke) AND all from Norm on Tested and Bill on Punished Props about how wethering toys models and action figures... this things summed with your know-how can push your work over and over! Keep shooting Young Man!

    I wonder if using a wire egg dipper would work? The ones that come in Easter egg dying kits. You have the small loop that could go around the ankle, and the larger one that'd be on the ground.

    One: Use white electrical tape to cover the plastic of the figure and not damage it. Two: any suggestions to balance big figures in the air? I.e. Hulk, Juggernaut, venom.... How do I keep them hovering? I've used coat hangers before but hard to find wire hangers nowadays lol

    • @sirdork730
      @sirdork730  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try using multiple wires, that’s what I usually do. Or winding two wires together to make it stronger!
