One of the things that came from you watching though was the visual references to games and plays done by the heroes in tournaments. Without you watching it to have those callouts i do feel like you do a disservice to the expression of each heroes growth and changes in the tournament scene.

I personally feel like this channel is doing very well. Source: I like it a lot. The main issue would be of course Valve killing arcade, but I'm sure there's a solution.

In regards to the research question... It comes back to the old joke... Which I'll include below.
Either way, the point is you've done all the research already, and developed good experience, you don't need to re-do all the prep you've already done.
    -------
The Graybeard engineer retired and a few weeks later the Big Machine broke down, which was essential to the company’s revenue.
The Manager couldn’t get the machine to work again so the company called in Graybeard as an independent consultant.
Graybeard agrees. He walks into the factory, takes a look at the Big Machine, grabs a sledge hammer, and whacks the machine once whereupon the machine starts right up.
Graybeard leaves and the company is making money again.
The next day Manager receives a bill from Graybeard for $5,000.
Manager is furious at the price and refuses to pay.
Graybeard assures him that it’s a fair price.
Manager retorts that if it’s a fair price Graybeard won’t mind itemizing the bill.
Graybeard agrees that this is a fair request and complies.
    The new, itemized bill reads….
    Hammer: $5
Knowing where to hit the machine with hammer: $4995

Regarding the research point, it makes sense that you'll have a very strong instinct now after doing the work. But I would also caution you to double check all of your key points every time because if you don't you'll be right only 95% of the time, and that 5% will be a major mistake in a video that is uploaded basically until humanity dies out.

You are not cheating or being lazy.
What has happened is that you became experienced in the thing you do.
Experienced people generally deliver the same work/conclusion much quicker/more efficient than they would have when just starting out without backing experience.

I just dig the inside look we're getting into youtube plans, because all I know about being successful in youtube is that I dont know shit.
Worst part is I had to learn that

I believe linken's video is in one of "dota wtf" or dotacinema videos. You could try to find patchnote with fix of that bug and estimate approximate date when this video was possible.

I think gifting everyone a micro stunt upon resurrection wil fix the stunt bug animation😂

About the Stories of Dota research, it feels like at this point you already did most of the work by watching and analysing the tournaments extensively for the previous videos and are now reaping the rewards of that work.
As an analogy, if you hire a professional to do some work in 15 minutes that would take you 5 hours because of lacking prerequisites you also wouldn't feel like they cheated because they invested a lot of time and effort to get to the point to be able to do the task in 15 minutes instead of 5 hours.

As someone who does that a lot, i can confirm that you are NOT cheating but IS being lazy
The correct word for it is being complacement, and everytime i did that, i would often made mistake i wouldnt normally have and my quality of work or game would drop significantly or just stagnant

maybe to switch things up you could do a stories of dota video about an item or a specific strategy or team instead of doing more heroes?

Since you are more efficient(not lazy), 1 stories dota per week confirmed?

I think this channel was popular for idotic things that you did before in a sense "what if", I just scrolled through your videos and more idotic mode it was it was with better viewership, last video over 100k is everything is RPG and tbh i also started watching your channel for the same reason but i stayed bcs of your voice, but it feels the more you are experimeting its getting worse, maybe I am wrong and please dont take this as criticism bcs as of now i really consider you almost as a friend lol xd, I watch your channel for longer time than i know most of my friends

You should look up the definition of parasocial relationships and be careful about that. Replacing real friends with youtubers is not a healthy practice.

Baumi is indeed a good youtuber but no youtuber should replace functioning human relationships/friendships

idr how the viewership to subbed ratio was back then but i originally came when it was him with a group of peeps just messing around in silly custom games and those, to me, will always be the best vids he has put out. one that comes particularly to mind was the skating rink games or the 5man infest build and whatnot

I wish mana burn wasn't such bs mechanic, even in normal dota it's sooooo annoying.

Your videos aren’t really friendly towards new viewers, if you are trying to grow. Things like “you guys get it” or “you know how this goes you’ve seen it before” and I understand most of your viewers are here everyday like me but I feel like you will have to switch, like you said in a previous video a few days/weeks ago, we all love Dota and are here for Dota but maybe it is time, no matter what videos you make I’ll still watch for the first 10 minutes till the ad then after the first ad fall asleep to, because that is just apart of my routine now, and I think that’s apart of the avg 9k-10k other people watching everyday too, that’s my 2¢ input
