    I have one of these I assembled as a kit. The only oem part I had to use was the forward handle. These are great saws. Most important is that they are rated for continuous operation, i.e. you can run it non-stop for as long as have fuel. Most consumer grade saws have a duty cycle of only several minutes. With the G660 you can mill with it, cut anything and it wont overheat.

      Thanks for watching, I have about 20 tanks threw it now and still running like a top.

    I just got the new g660 pro model and man I got to say I'm very impressed with this Chinese saw. Mine fired right up and is running awesome. Didn't even have to tune the carb at all. I'm running 30/1 right now for break in then jumping up to 40/1 after about 4 or 5 tanks. Running klotz racing oil in it and it loves it.

      thats a huge waste bro! all you are doing is loading the engine up. too much oil is not a good thing at 30;1 you are never letting your rings seat because all that oil gets behind the ring and will not let it fully push out on the cylinder wall to create the best seal. Mix at 50;1 amsoil saber and run it the way a saw was meant to run wide open! take a look at the top of your piston I bet you its all carboned up thats from so much oil blowing by the unseated rings. its not good for making power!!

      Your smart to break ya saw in 32:1 and than run 40:1 thats exactly what im gonna do when mine comes

      I've milled thousands of board feet with my ms441c mixed at 40:1,run my ms 250 and fs70r on it to. I've never seen any ill effects. I started running it that way because my 441 was getting hot in long thick milling sessions at 50:1. Never had any problems since switching.

      Try this, break in at 50 then40:1

    You're running rich. Mine was doing that from factory so after break in i leaned it up and it runs so much better.

      I've since removed the baffle in the muffler and leaned it out, your absolutely right it rips man. After the muffler mod it really woke up

      @@molinobeerSound will tell you it's running rich. So used to jetting dirt bikes over the years I can listen and know which way it needs to go.

    Perfect fit for my Echo CS-370, and the chain cuts very well th-cam.com/users/postUgkxBd8qUztQUCL8Rm1-aIig5ViBT2E_kO_6 . I had been using a Stihl chain that I had sharpened several times (sometimes at a shop, sometimes with my own electric chain sharpener), and there's no comparison -- the new chain cuts much better and holds its edge longer. We'll see how the new chain holds up when it needs sharpening, but for now I'm happy.

    I just bought one off a guy brand new I had him tune it to 12,500- 12,800 rpms and he ran 2 tanks of 25:1 then did 40:1
    and I'll keep using 40:1 mix. I went bought me a 3/8 8 pin sprocket and changed out the 7 pin sprocket for faster chain speeds I can't wait to put it in some wood this week

    • @J.R.723
      @J.R.723  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I ran it at 32:1 for about 5 tanks the re-tuned with 40:1. Also removed the baffle from the muffler, opens it right up.

      @CornucopiaFarmstead 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@J.R.723 yes sir, if it works I would leave it. May only have to change from cold to hotter plug or vise versa depending on the ambient temperature and humidity. Saw sounded and looks like it runs really well. We have one heat cycled our 888 a handful of times. Still vegetable season here so not much time to use the saws yet unfortunately!

    After 1 year use , it still good value for money ?

    • @J.R.723
      @J.R.723  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, after a year of use the only thing is the factory oiler won't keep up with anything over a 25" bar so I'm getting the high output to see how much difference it makes with on a 36" bar. Aside from that since this video all I have done is gutted the muffler baffle so the cylinder stays a little cooler.
