Best investment I ever made was purchase the same gel polishes my nail salon carries, from the actual retailer. I also bought a UV light lamp and my little nail kit for my nails.... listen, y’all!!! No, No, No do not purchase the polishes off of Amazon. Go directly to the merchant that sells that brand that your salon has.... better quality, new, and cheaper. It took a couple of days for my polishes to arrive, but when I tell you my nails have never looked so great. 3 weeks and the gel is still intact. I even have family members asking me if I can do their nails. Just sharing some ❤️. Love the video!! Per usual!!
It’s fun to see a normal collection! I have been collecting polish since 2013 and sometimes I wish I had just a few to make it easier when it’s time to pick up one to wear! 😅 I’m wearing mustard yellow right now and it used to be « out of my comfort zone »! 🤣
I am totally in a different boat, I’m not someone who only wears bright colors and holographics but I basically never wear nude colored nails... I do wear pale colors like blues, green, pink. Some of my favorites are bright pinks and purple. I also use gel and use iridescent or mirror powder effects on top. I also have been wearing bright and deep reds a lot in the past couple years, just got a black to red chrome polish and it’s amazing. I don’t wear my nails long, basically the same length as yours, which I think red suits better. Back to your query, my favorite basic color that is a bit special is China Glaze Afterglow as it is an opalescent pink.
My 3 maybe 4 nail polishes are all essie. Tbh I don’t have the patience.. My S.O paints my toes and that’s about it but I will watch everything you post!

But it doesn't look nice on my neils and it is: - Rescue beauty lounge grunge...its lighter than the tone of hands but not in a strong way.. Good Morning. Love nail polish as well& Sally is my fav brand. Have tried some high end & come back every time. I use the Gel top coat 101( black bottle ) and it is quick dry. Makes polish last a lot longer. I use same base coat as you have . You may like sally insta- dry Heather Hustle & Devil Wears Nada (145). Stay safe 🇨🇦
Spin the bottle is a beautiful light pink almost creamy coloured mal polish from essie. It is one of my favorite nudes. It is actually almost invisible. But appliying it twice with top Coat in the end it looks very elegant.

My nail polish collection is maybe three times the size of yours 😂 My favorite affordable nudes are Wild Nude by Essie, which is like a cool fawn nude, and Go Go Geisha also by Essie, which is kind of a mauvey-pinky version of Wild Nude 😉 How many coats do you usually put on with your polishes?
Oh good then I don’t feel so bad haha. I usually do two to 3, if it needs more than three I won’t re-purchase it. So I do one base, three color and one topcoat:)
I’m not sure if you have stores similar to tj maxx and marshalls near you but they tend to sell nail polishes for really cheap and they have lots of nudes right now.

I am an opi girl. Use Sally Hansen base strengthened. Oil's gets too thick too fast. I wear nudes , corals if I am tan(cajan shrimp)and the same as you. I have not been tan in years.🙃❣
I’ve been thinking of wearing regular nail polish instead of getting fake nails all of the time. It’s making my nails weak and it can be expensive. I’m just concerned the polish won’t last long.
I find it lasts if you use a good base and top coat. I'm not allowed to have fake nails due to my work, so it has to be polish unless I'm going on vacation or something, then I usually splurge a bit!

They are actually on sale right now for 6$ with code MAGIC25 ( usually 8) but they last me around a week and a half without chipping and they feel like gel! My favorite shades are HZ, CDJ, and CCT! They have a ton of neutrals as well and are definitely worth the $$!

You should try a medium sage green sometime, that color would work really well with your skin tone!
