ive been running almost the same build sense shortly after the 7600 came out. all i will say is be happy you waited to build i had alot of driver issues and RAM compatability.
Just built a 3080 and Ryzen 7 5700X. Next upgrade will be moving to AM5 as I've only had issues with CPU bottlenecks so far in games like Cyberpunk with RT enabled
I’m a first time pc builder with a 3080 and ryzen 7600x but struggle to stay at 200 fps on bo6 at 1080p even with the lowest settings would u have any tips or is tht normal?
@@DatsaMinithat's not that great, I have a 5700x and 3080ti and getting around 100-150 fps in bo6 in 4k with ultra performance dlss and medium with some high settings. The vram starts getting maxed out though. Switching to 7600x so I can get better fps in fortnite
Personally I have 2 13600k rigs and I got both cpus for 200 bucks each, I think it could very well be the budget king if you can get it used. I'm dying to try a am5 system tbh. 4080, and 3080 for the gpus. I play @ 4k 144hz dlss quality on both of them
Hi, basically the same kind of build I was thinking of doing as my first ever. Only issue would be the GPU, I wouldnt need something as expensive etc as most I play is football manager, skyrim (modified) and photoshop etc
I just built a modest 7500f build with 6000mhz ram. Instead of Nvidia I went with a 6750xt because I’m fine with 1440p 100+fps in most titles. And I can still run basically any settings in most games with the 12gbs of ram that the 6750xt has.
@@fahadassiry224 that explains the long boot times, it seems to be a big issue on MSI as my B650M Gaming X AX doesn’t have the issue. As for the memory speed, I’m not to sure
The 3080 is in a tough spot with 10GB Could be a problem sooner than you expect. My choice is easy for my next upgrade. I have a 3060 12GB and I could easily squeeze some more frames out of it with a 5700X3D. It is going to beat a R5 7600 in gaming and should match it for productivity or better. It is only $50 more which you could make up for and then some by the difference between AM4 and AM5 boards as well as the difference in RAM prices. So even if I didn't already have an AM4 platform, I would still do a Zen 3 X3D build right now. Zen 5 is coming in a few months with an alleged 50% IPC uplift due to major architecture changes. I think running them on 600 series boards will likely leave performance on the table. Similarly, when DDR5 is actually superior to DDR4, I don't think you'll be able to take advantage of those speeds on a 600 series board. I built my first gaming PC in 1995. I can tell you with absolute confidence that future proofing is a myth.
Hey, does someone know if this also is capable of playing in 4k? I am now planning on to play 1440p but maybe later 4k. Is it possible to play 4k with these specs?
the R5 7600 is probably the best bang for buck CPU right now with all the price cut and the drop in prices of B650 boards. AMD is probably clearing inventory in preparation for Ryzen 9000 series. Not sure about pairing with the RTX3080 unless you found a killer deal on it, the RTX 4070 Super would be my choice since it has AV1 hardware and more power efficient.
I love the Ryzen 5 7600, it's my favourite CPU atm. I've had the 3080 since September 2022, If I was shopping now, I would have gone with the 7800 XT or 7900 GRE just for the VRAM and their better value.
This pc still looks stunning. Quality specs and quality performance .
I appreciate that mate! I really like how this PC tuned out, both performance and aesthetically!
Awesome, it looks excellent. Enjoy gaming on your new system bud.

got a unit of rtx 3080 founder edition, 1 for ourselves is the best feeling. even it is not a latest gen... how i wish....

VRAM amount doesn't mean everything lad
I feel worried saying this, the 12vhpwr cable does indeed fit as I have a 16pin cable connected and I have no problems
You're right, i just needed to apply a bit more force as it's a bit tight on the 3080 FE. But it does fit!
