    Thanks for the How To Video! You were really easy to follow along with. Getting ready to try this on my Grand Prix. You mentioned you "had to do a lot of repairs on this stupid thing" I hear that. :)

      One more thing, I believe my engine is a V8 not a V6. Do you think it will be much different?

      Yeah, I have a playlist for this car, I’ve been deeper in and changed more parts on this car then any other car I’ve had.

      Same should apply, just watch your lines to make sure you keep track of your wires.

      @@Turbo231 That's a good idea, I should probably make a "Clunker Car" playlist myself. Thanks again!

    I just did this on my 01 gt and I disconnected the front motor mounts and rolled the engine forward, it made getting to the back ones a lot easier. Did the same thing to replace the 02 sensor.

      you don't have to remove motor mounts. I guarantee it.

    • @charlesdowns1691
      @charlesdowns1691 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      no. absolutely don't need to even touch a motor mount on 2002.3.1 v6.

      n.g.k. is same price as a.c. Delco if both are irridium around $9 each. Napa belden wires are good not junk.

    This video was explained good. I just wish you would have shown taking the plugs out. I think in a pinch I could do this repair myself. Chrisfix helped me change out my front brake pads with his video. I have the GT model.

      That is probably the easiest part. Get your socket locked on the spark plug and turn it out. Most will come out just fine.

    How did you remove the wires from the plugs? mine are stuck, they are not coming out. Any advice on how to remove the wires.

      Pull hard, like really hard, as low on the boot as possible. Use pillars if needed.

    Thought you weren't suppose to gap iridium plugs ,,correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I've been told

    • @Turbo231
      @Turbo231  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, it’s .060 if I remember correctly, so at a minimum you need to check it. And if it’s wrong you need to correct it.

    • @charlesdowns1691
      @charlesdowns1691 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      just check em. no they should not need that.

    what light did you use near the end there i really liked it and found it convenient

    • @Turbo231
      @Turbo231  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not too sure, can look up and post the brand later. It’s a 3 wing LED light with rechargeable battery. Came with a tripod and hook. Super nice because it can run on battery and if that does, you can still plug it in and use it. It does cause some flickering on camera though.

      Yank, hard. They might be fairly stuck on there, but hopefully if you're pulling them off that hard, you have replacements ready.

    I seen someone rachet the engine forwarded to give you more room like 5 inches
