This was really good information. Describing all the different ways/issues to get to CPR was awesome.

Thanks man. I understand stuff so much better when I know the why behind it. So I figured this kind of information would be beneficial to others out there, especially people who are not medical professionals.

I have missed the "why" from all the CPR classes I have taken. Or I just
missed it when they thought that part of the class.
Understanding the "why" really helps put everything together! Thank you
again for putting all this together!

It is frequently not taught at all. Classes taught to those who are not healthcare providers are typically skills based only without any theory. It they have severe bleeding, use direct pressure or a tourniquet. If they aren’t responding, push on the chest.
I understand why they are doing this but as a society we have gotten too far removed from our own health and really should understand a bit more about how our body functions, the basics of life saving interventions and also the why behind some of these skills we are learning.
      Thanks for the feedback!

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. C is first letter of word "cardio", P is first letter of word "pulmonary" and R is first letter of word "resuscitaton".

Thank you. Your videos, I find, to be exponentially more kick ass than the rest. The catalog of yours should have millions of views. However we are getting more and more dumb as a country by the day. Do you remember the beginning of the movie "Idyocracy"?
Stay with it. It's appreciated. First responder is just the first person to respond.
