Everyone needs to learn CPR no matter what age they are , we don't know when it might come handy. Also , most cardiac arrests occur at home so it's valuable in saving lives.
That’s why I subscribed to them because you can really learn something important from them like the CPR I really suffered from this one while I was trying to learn how to do it and now I fully understood it and I’m glad because you never know when you need to perform a CPR on someone. So thank you so much!

I love this video. Super helpful. Unfortunately, right now most people are panicked because of COVID and probably won't do much? It happened to me (sort of). Had a massive panic attack at work. I was on the ground pale, clammy hands, arm numbness, left arm and back pain, with my chest so tight I couldn't breathe. BP was like 160-170 when paramedics arrived. My coworkers and emergency response team just stood at a distance and asked if I was ok.. one of them even told me "I'm gonna stand right here because there's a virus out there."
Hey man. I'm not an expert but i wanna say that you shouldn't blame yourself for what happened, i bet you tried your best doing CPR and if your father knew how hard you tried he would be glad at the last moment, you must be feeling frustrated and guilty but sometime in the future i hope you can forgive yourself and try to help others.
the resuscitation success rates are very low - even in hospitals when someone has a cardiac arrest - that you did CPR is commendable and all you could do - I was a cardiac nurse with training. What I say is true about low resuscitation rates.
Unless you are treating a drown victim I would not suggest giving rescue breaths as a regular person and especially if you're alone. Keeping blood running through body is more vital than stopping to give perhaps life threatening wrong rescue breaths. You risk blowing too much air into perhaps smaller lungs than yours and thus rupturing victim's lungs. Or you might haven't tilted their head enough so you'll be blowing into their stomach which in turn might cause victim to vomit and drown on that while you do chest compressions.
So, I don’t get it.. what’s the full sequence? You do 30 pushes on the chest, then 2 inhales/exhales, then just repeat? Or if I haven’t been trained how to do CPR properly, it will be better to just do those pushes until the help arrives??
Usually if they don’t wake up you keep going until emergency services get there. Im you might run out of breath and have to take a short like 10 second breath but then start right back up. The emergency services will get there and use their defibrillator if he still isn’t awake.
So do you ever feel for a pulse, you know, the thing that CPR is designed to replace? Or do you just go on and start breaking the guy's ribs without checking to make sure they actually need it in the first place?
@@dragomirdespard974 Pulse translates to blood moving through your circulatory system, yes. CPR is designed to replace that. It is suggested to not begin CPR procedures if they have an active pulse.
It’s nice that you mentioned calling Emergency Services instead of 911.
Non-Americans appreciate this.

CPR rarely actually works. It's literally just the last thing that has the smallest chance of keeping someone alive.
Thanks for your video🙏
Useful information
Thanks so much

Thats why he checked for breath.
@@Cheesycake11155 Breathing doesn't translate to pulse unfortunately.
@killermogle Wait, really? I thought it was the same thing. Doesn't it pulse basically represent that your heart is pumping blood?
