Amazing tutorial. Dial storage is something I have been thinking about trying, now I know I need it. Panic shield art sounds amazing. Typically I go into my bubble shield or vision, I know my irl opponents really well. The shelf art will help me tremendously. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I will be sure to take what I have learned to my college’s esports!
@Piano Experience the less Shulk mains there are, the more chances we have of winning a match because the opponents won’t have played against enough of them to know how to tackle them
That’s pretty optimistic! But on the other hand, mirror matches can teach you more about your own character. The more people who play as him, the higher chance vids like this or just “Shulk advice” will become better and more common.
Not bad. The only thing I kind of don't agree on is turning on shield art every time. There are certain matchups where you need to save it for certain kill confirms your opponent has. Being a Shulk player myself and seeing other Shulk players burn shield art so easily I know that I can take advantage of the window they don't have it because they burned it so early.
@@JuanGorrin lol, what I'm meaning to say (I don't know the lingo) is the way that canceling dial (or the active buff, given from said dial), shaves the endlag frames (or in this case, recovery frames from an active move) is a really cool and creative use of shulks unique move list and interactions with the game
@@MrNum8325thank you! The terminology is just a little confusing (i didnt know what dialing nor endlag frame even was!) and i has meant that “i don’t understand” in the comment not “u” my bad😅
Is dial storage just canceling the art? I’m kinda dumb and didn’t understand the tip that well. Nice vid btw, really helpful tips. Probably gonna use these to get further in locals
When you hold the B button, it takes 11 frames to bring up the dial. Dial storage allows you to "store" up to 10 frames of that time so that the next time you press "B", the dial takes fewer frames to come up. Furthermore, the dial coming out cancels any landing lag Shulk is in, and if you switch to an art, you get the art's invincibility frames. There are some really great TH-cam videos, like on from Beefy Smash Doods that explains it better than I can here.
I (tried to) mained shulk in Smash 4 before Cloud came out because it was kind of nostalgic shock, the same kind that happened when I wanted sephiroth and got him but to a much greater extent.
Thanks so much! No worries, everyone has to start from somewhere and growth starts out slowly. Just gotta keep on doing my best! Feel free to subscribe if you want to support ❤️
Amazing video, explained very well, but I’m gonna be honest you peaked on the thumbnail that was perfect 😂 liked subbed and a comment #MAKEANOTHER5TIPZ
Never even heard of the down throw buster kill confirm gonna have to train a ton to pull it off
You've got this, for sure. It's extremely useful and you'll get a lot of kills off of it.

Nope use it each time and use smash art for kill confirm
@@ErtM-vh5vs no I meant to escape the enemies kill confirm. Not use it to make your own. That’s already expected.
I am in fact a complete noob, but I will keep your video in the backlog for when I get better.
Then I’ll give it a rewatch!
That dial cancel to break endlag frames is such a cool tech.
honestly u dont understand what that means

Finally someone appreciates my fine art.

Fast fingers, you need to press really really fast
