I've always viewed Farage as grifter, so was not surprised to hear him spouting Russian talking points like a Kremlin fanboy. Hopefully this will alienate a section of his supporters, those that are on board with Farage's nationalist agenda, yet do not support Russia - this will be a real turn off for said group.

    • @danyvarna5094

It is alienating. The split in the nationalist comunities in Europe and the former settled colonies over the ru aggression against Ukraine in 2014 was bad, and was even worse over the one in 2022. I have nationalist acquaintances that fought on both sides. In general, those that believe in nationalism for all support the attacked and those that are 'nationalists' because they hate the left, are failing in life, hate their own societies or are simply imperialist revanshists are listening to shalow ruZ drivel delivered from shills, and work for the benefit of the ruZ. In general, the "nationalism for all" believers are more successful and are the old European ethnonationalists. The failed, the dim, the emotional and the more americanised are mostly pro-ru. The leaders, on the other hand, are a different matter. The ethnonationalists are largely suppressed everywhere as they are actively suppressed by the left establishment and the ru paid shills, thus the 'nationalist leaders' that are left are most mostly shills whose survival, and prosperity is heavily subsidised by the ru.

I wouldn't feel like a "Putin helper," but for a long time I cooled down critics that they were exaggerating. It was the meetings with Putin supporters that changed me -- I verified what they were saying, and time and again it came out that they were repeating Russian propaganda, and that this propaganda consisted of nothing but brazen lies. I will agree that this may be the case, but I'm afraid it doesn't work that way on most.

Very well said. Poor western journalism as well as grifters and people that genuinely believe that some people are greater than others through the concept of spheres of influence are Russia's greatest allies, likely being just as important to the Kremlin as its nuclear arsenal - they both play a significant role in deterring timely aid. And while I don't expect right-wingers, especially older ones to be against the idea of spheres of influence, the sheer hypocrisy from so-called "leftists" on this topic has been sickening.

As well as pulling equipment from Finland, putler is also NOT providing air defence for oil producers. He actually told them get their own defense. But there is none available in russia that is not military, which they can't get. Some of them resorted to creating "cope nets" around facilities and resorting to KGB priests for blessings (great picture).
rus getting NKorean "helpers" is good for Ukraine in some ways. It opened the door for the US allowing US contractors to work in Ukraine. The US will probably extend it's permission to fire into russia. Yes, "bad case" it will have to deal with "fresh meat" attacks. Worse case is that Kim actually sends well trained and equiped troops. (How likely? I don't know.)
People don't understand the concept that russia wants to, and is able to make countries "disappear" from the map. Russians invaded Poland and made it disappear twice in it's 1000 year history. So, it happening to Ukraine is entirely within the realm of possibility if Europe and US don't keep on objecting!
Not having large concentrations of troops will not stop putler from using a tactical nuke. At that point he will not be logical, or tactical. He will be losing and vengeful. If he is pushed to using one HE WILL USE IT ON a CIVILIAN POPULATION. Kyiv or one of the other largest cities. Maybe Lviv on the very west end of Ukraine, so the fallout would hit Europe/Poland.
Ukraine hitting SU-57's on the ground proves nothing about the capability, or vulnerability of the aircraft. They got luck

People are misreading Trump. Personal appeal is a classic American business negotiating tactic that Trump has been practicing most of his life. It doesn't necessarily always translate well to diplomatic geopolitics and can result in ridiculous hilarity like the, "Kim Jong-Un and I fell in love with each other" episode. You can't take it at face value. It's part of a negotiating tactic.

I contacted Reform on multiple occasions, asking what their position was regarding support for Ukraine.
I never received even an acknowledgement, never mind a reply.
Confirmation enough as to where they stand & thus I actively work to oppose them.

If we were such a threat to Russia, why did we save so much on military spending the last decades? Why did we get ourselves so dependent on Russian gas in Europe? Why is it so difficult to get enough ammunition together to help Ukraine? If we were planning to attack Russia, why were we so poorly prepared for a war? If any politician these days want media attention all they have to do is show sympathy for Putin and understanding for Russia's point of view. How to get yourself in the headlines in one easy lesson.

Good update, one point: Comparing Ukraine and Israel puts Ukraine in a bad light and is not fair. In modern times (I.e. after WW2), Ukraine never annexed neighbours territory, they never illegally settled on land they didn't own, they didn't restrict the development of some of their neighbours and the list goes on. So please do not compare what is a "black and white" conflict with one which is very complex.

Before the war in Ukraine I would say NATO was no danger to Russia, due to the war and the new members to NATO(I assume Ukraine will also join when they win) they will have unsolved issues with at least 2 members(a bit unsure about a few if they have come to terms with the past or still see it as an issue). Georgia will probably follow into NATO and maybe Moldova so there will be many countries with issues or unsolved ones. My point is that if the Kremlin never wanted to make NATO into an hostile alliance they should have stopped poking their neighbors because soon there will be a voice that won't be so Muscovia friendly and who knows, maybe the new goal really becomes to tear down the Kremlin from within for it never to rise again.
Its like USA that feared the influence of Soviet "communism"(wouldn't call it communism, their system reminds me more of a parasite or a leech) for so long that now they have a president candidate parroting the leader of the thing they feared that would spread to them. Same with the Kremlin, they have been shouting about NATO so much so that they scared everyone into NATO feeling nothing but negative things about them...

There is a difference between acknowledging a point of view and agreeing with it. Putin and his Kremlin entourage feeling threatened by the choices neighbouring countries made, did not give them the right to invade them. Putin & co should have put themselves under scrutiny, wondering why the neighbours made the choices they made. That's what responsible grown-ups do in a civilised society.
