Hey Lo Rain! I just ordered this kit through Lion Brand and am thrilled for this tutorial! It was clear and concise and I feel confident that I will have a beautiful top at the end of it all. Thank you for sharing this; it's appreciated! Take care!

Hi Lo! I’ve just discovered your videos and I would love to incorporate this stitch into one of my projects. I was wondering how/if this could translate into knitting in the round while keeping the holes offset? Would it work if I alternated rows starting K2 with rows starting K1? Thanks for your help!

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I had testers ask this very question and after a few attempts they all decided to work flat. The reason I have the K2 and K1 at the beginning and end of rows is 1-for seaming purposes and 2 - to off set the holes. So if you’re not seaming .. remove a knit 1 from each end of row and work a knit 1 only at the beginning of round to offset the holes. Also note that the row 1 has k2togtbl as part of the stitch. Row 2 wrong side row has purl 2tog. You wouldn’t be doing this row in the round so your fabric will look different.
I have not attempted this myself because I feel seams are a crucial part of a garments structure and I prefer the drape of a garment knit flat versus in the round.
      Good luck!

Can this stitch be done in the round, an if so, what differences need to occur in the instructions to allow the offset of the openings fr. Om row to row?

I rarely work in the round and haven't tried the fishnet stitch in the round.

So knit, purl, knit, purl. What if I only do knit or use a much larger gauge needle?

I’m not exactly sure what you mean?? K,P,K,P is not the fishnet stitch I’m demonstrating in this video.
