The magnetic detector is a cool bonus to this little guy. Many GPS trackers don't transmit at all, they have to be retrieved and hooked up to a computer to download the data. Great video, thank you.
I bought one immediately after watching this video (using your affiliate link) and it literally arrived THIS AFTERNOON, amazing! I have been looking for a RF detector with a very wide frequency range for years, but they all cost thousands of dollars! I wanted to thank you for alerting me to the existence of this device.
Those shirts are awesome! Thank you for your content. I recently found your channel and can't get enough of your wit humor and sarcasm !, I love it! Just got a pair of GMSR's with your affiliate link. Stay well, ..you have a great Channel which is as informative as it is enjoyable.
I purchased one of these and the build quality seems to be very good. I especially like they included a link to an instructional video. The only thing that wasn't covered is the "run" button. Btw, great video and I appreciate your no bullshit approach. Subbed...
A lot of the cheaper ones top out at around 2 GHz - meaning it won't even find 5 GHz WiFi devices. Sometimes they even lie and say it can detect higher freuqncies, even if it can't. If this one can reach up to 12 GHz, that's pretty impressive. There's definitely an art to using equipment like this.
Great content as usual Randy. Definitely grabbing this. I’ve been thinking of looking into ways to detect cameras and RF’s in more public settings (like a downtown area). Seems this maybe suited to a closer proximity system. Either way this will be very useful for the purposes you laid out.
Went through your site to amazon to purchase in hopes that I indirectly funded your site. I enjoy your videos but haven’t picked out my GMRS radio yet. I did get the license based on your recommendation. Sir, I even laugh at your jokes!!! (Folks, can you admit that he is hysterical?!?!) thank you for what you do!
Great video! Very entertaining. That is actually a pretty cool set of tools... and this video also nursed my already excessive levels of paranoia to previously unknown limits.
It picks up the Boofwhang from across the house.. when someone keys up on my repeater, the whole thing goes bonkers from across the street if the gain isnt turned way down.
People may be quite surprised by how many and where cameras are hidden. Green Bay, WI had them installed in the hallways of city hall. Aldermen and citizens were not aware they were there. How many private conversations were recorded? Likewise, here in Brookfield, WI a contractor hid a camera in a Women's locker room. If you have time and need for privacy or just wish to check a Chinese balloon for squirting emissions.. get one of these.
Another amazing stupendous informative product review by the infamous The one the only always got an ear Calypso Banana Puffy sleeves. I feel honored by your presence!
A extra benefit of the small camera device is that being infrared it can be used to detect counterfeit currency. The embedded strip on a $5 note will glow Blue, A $10 = Orange, A $20=Green, A $50=Yellow and a $100 is ? I don't have one of those :)) Small enough to keep in your pocket.
You ordered one...... great! But there is no mention of how it actually works after a year of this post. I'm interested in such a device. There are probably three people in this entire comment section who have said they have bought one but the funny thing is no one has commented on how it works.
Very cool for the price! And it's great you do some stuff besides GMRS. Not that there's anything wrong with that, outside the FCC's 1994 grade web site for licensing. Is/can it be directional with just the one antenna or do you just kind of go over all of the perimeter and find the transmitter based on strength of signal? (Or does it even discriminate that at the range of say a hotel room?) If you learn of any that might have more sophisticated signal analysis or ability to tune in and out of different frequency ranges, let us know! Being paranoid is a lot to to keep up with!
I can't even imagine how desperate someone would have to be to spy on me in my bathroom, although I can belt out a pretty good Bohemian Rhapsody in the shower
right on. Will definitely get one of these KT9000 anti spy detector spy kits. I actually own the Knight 2.0 already though and it's perfect for checking hotel rooms while traveling. I love it's directional infrared camera detection.
Fantastic video, any thoughts from anyone out there on my finds to date. I live in the country with my closest neighbor being 200 yards away. I turned off the power to my house at the box and I’ve found a signal above my bed but not on the bed. I of course have more than a hunch I’ve been targeted by dirtbags. I’m somewhat confused about the signal above my bed in a four foot radius
It appears your flash message screen about 1/2 way thru your show is a subliminal on screen text message and quite illegal. You may want to check your recording.
How about microwave ovens? Will it go off next to a microwave that is running? I wonder if the shielding in the microwave door is better than the sensitivity of the detector.
Where most people who discovered a hidden camera in a hotel bedroom would freak out, my instinct would be to tape it over after first letting it record a written note offering to sign a release in exchange for per-session payments, royalties and unlimited free stays at the hotel. 🤣
I'll play a game of chicken with the camera and see how long before they disconnect it themselves. I have zero shame at this point. READY THE LUBRICANTS
Chicago is a city in Illinois state Illinois is
Are you sure? Chicago is big so I'm pretty sure its a state - it is also where pizza was invented so you better double-check.
@@TheNotaRubicon that’s what she said
@@TheNotaRubicon I Googled it, Chicago is definitely a state. Lots of Maga Country dudes out there on cold nights.
Trust me im a certified HAM. Chicago is a state
Sarcasm learn it
It's not even about the tech for me anymore, I'm just here for the humor.

That’s because they’ve been waiting for you to order it. 👀
Just because your paranoid doesn't mean that they aren't trying to get you, I know that this is true. Thanks for another great video Randy!
Paranoia is just a higher sense of awareness.
The close-up "reveal" was absolutely incredible.
Randy is such a great person looking out for our safety.
He's also an expert in geography.
Literally the most cut and dry review video! EXACTLY what I needed. Helpful and answered my questions without all the "stupid shite" LOVE THIS GUY!
I’m ordering one through your link provided. I really enjoyed watching this.
Excellent content. Legendary delivery.... I will definitely be getting one of these in the future.

The lying about specs is just part of Chinese culture. It's called cha bu duo, basically "Half ass is good enough".
Thanks!
Thank YOU!
I loved your use of the transitive property. I wish I had that example when I taught HS math. Alas, I'm retired.

Language clarification alert: Deboxing, means carefully opening and withdrawing contents from box, for nerds.
When you pulled the "protective film" off.. I felt that in my soul.
Yes ….. I’m been looking information about this topic …. And now you come with this topic , awesome.
My Hero is back. Devices and way more cool. Love your static speach as it lights nerd ears and lessons brain activity for nerd wanna bees!

How close to a baofeng UV5R while transmitting do you have to get to set off the detector?
It picks up the Boofwhang from across the house.. when someone keys up on my repeater, the whole thing goes bonkers from across the street if the gain isnt turned way down.
I had a Knight Two thousand... Great product, though the voice menu was a tad uppity

Thank you for keeping my life private Randy..!

Liked the video before I even watched it.
I "Like" 'em, then I watch 'em. I know they're gonna be fun!
awesome. I've got the Knight KT1000. That thing is dirty good.
Oh yes.

prolly cuz deyr all turnd on and to the same channel. hee! Hah. my incredible command of the obvious works sometimes.

Love the shirt. ❤
I'm convinced we got some type of spy camera or microphone in my apartment Right now
Leading us to enlightenment!
Will it detect another Knight Spy kit nearby?😎 It's good to know about these cool devices. 👍
Some sexy Jazz music needed for that peel shot.
Great video, please make more gadget videos besides 2 way radios which I also love :)
i love your style! it always makes me laugh
I have a friend that is from the Chicago land area with the last name of Knight , I hope he is involved in this technology .
If it's Michael Knight, I'm pretty sure he only does cars.
How long does it take you to turn on every radio before you film a video?
Thank you for the ASMR moment.
Nice video 📹 👍

Thanks for the nfo fearless leader. Looks like a quality product.
OMG, you kill me! I love the delivery. I wonder if Knight has anything to do with those people that made the Knight Rider cars. 🤔 /WRAT256
Lol love the humor 😂
I have one of those - works great!
I'm going to use that hidden camera finder as a monocle and pretend I'm the Terminator
does it work on cars?
How about microwave ovens? Will it go off next to a microwave that is running? I wonder if the shielding in the microwave door is better than the sensitivity of the detector.
Yes!
What if it doesn't squirt? Maybe just dribbles a bit and then a gusher?
🤔
I love this guy!
Great thanks for that info i will get one of this now a days because technology its hard to trust people anymore 👍🏻🇺🇸🇵🇭
That's pretty cool! Thanks for this.
Very interesting. When people are plotting against you, paranoia is just good practice.
Love your shirt !!!!!
I ordered it and found your video 5 minutes later😂
Thank You For The Video Its A Very Interesting Device
I'm not just watching your channel...
I'm watching you create content for this channel.
Am I watching you watching me watching you?
Sigh just what I needed something to fuel my paranoia. Thanks Randy lol.
The way he wrapped that line around his wrist...
I think he missed his calling as a hand model
Seriously…consider a career change to standup comedy…I love your videos…and you’re hilarious in your own special way! 🤣😂
How many units of measure from my wallets money-hole would I expect to part with for this awesome James Bondian apparatus?
Loved this video. Wonder if you are in a similar work field…
Any appendage???
Can it find out who’s spying, or hacking the cell phone, computers, laptops, and surveillance cameras?
No, that is not its intended use.
@@TheNotaRubicon so bad, because it would be interesting to find out who’s spying on me 😬😬😬thanks 4 replying! Can you imagine that!!! Oh I wish!
.....I was looking up vids on stroke care, and this came up.
The State of Chicago 🤣🤣 I love this guy.
The spy bug you should worry about is probably in your pocket already. And you probably have one of those Ring Orwells. I mean doorbells
I love your videos LoL
Why not a spectrum analyzer?
Because this is much easier/more simple.
Thank you.

Can it detect police radar guns?
You can but by the time you get close enough they will have already measured your speed. The new police toys use laser velocity detection
Thank you, once again... will use the ................................................. affiliate link above
Thank you!
Just bought it. Now I can take it to my girlfriend's house to find out if her husband has any hidden spy devices.
I've adopted and promote the analog and digital sign language. Alway a bag of laughs.
What happened, Randy? Couldn’t remember where you hid all your cameras?
Most interesting
