i already have this unit and similar models. for what it is, it is one of the better quality units in its class that you can get. it’s essentially a “cheap” quick and dirty tool that doesn’t cost thousands of dollars like better detectors out there. marketing it as a gps detector is a bit of a stretch because it is detecting for magnets. in that sense it won’t detect a gps tracker that is attached through other means, just your typical under the car magnetic cases. it can point your to rf signals although not tell you what frequency it is. so it’s a start, but a good one. it’s the best function out of the other features. the camera detector is so-so technology relying on the reflective coating of most camera lenses which are there to cut infrared light. it’s more of an art than a science in using it since many times you can’t tell a simple reflection from a metallic one emanating from a lens’s infrared coating. you can probably do a similar thing with a colored led flashlight held next to your temple and scan around the room. overall, the detector can help you find hidden bugs but …. not finding anything could still mean there is or isn’t a hidden bug there. i’m less confident with a sweep but it’s probably the best cheap, field-replaceable unit where you don’t have to pull out a computer with sdr equipment or expensive specialised equipment. a simple emf detector and finder would probably work the same or better.
The housing on the KT9000, is it not better than the Andre which I believe is not even metal? would love to see the kit you are using in your own sweeps.
Great video but what’s the auto function on there. I got yahoos putting cell phones in my walls. But anyways info on the auto function would be great. Thanks
Took this from kt9000 user manual: "There is an alternative “Auto Scan” Radio Frequency detection option which can be accessed by pressing the “Run” button. However, the use of this “Auto Scan” function is for professional use only and is not recommended."
I have had my trailer broken into. Sadly, I am sure it is by people I have met who are tracking my truck, trailer And phone. They know exactly when my truck is away from my trailer, and know how far away I am, so know when I'll be back. Problem is, they must have a key as trailer is always locked, and stuff stolen was buried under stuff. They also took personal paperwork with banking, ss# as well as coins I was going to give to my grandaughter. Tech has been my worst nightmare. 😢

I can use proprietary charging. What is a premium usb-c comparable detector you can reccomend? Thx

So if money isn't an issue... what would you recommend for GPS, Mic, and Camera detection for best accuracy?
Great Review🤘🏽🇺🇸
Right on!
I would appreciate it if you could tell us all which personal rf device you like.

Thanks! I triee to address this in this video - th-cam.com/video/tcGOdtq8kY8/w-d-xo.html

Excellent presentation! THANK YOU! 😊
You are so welcome!

What is the difference between THIS detector and a professional one?
The cost. They all take time to get used to.
