Awesome tips for playing with the ball...Can't find extra space to do this indoor...both the bedroom and the basement have floating laminate floors which led to poor bouncing of the ball

Good points about the stroke mechanics, grip, shoulder lift, split step etc. Main problem with wall drills is they train you to overhit. If you're repeatedly striking from behind the NVZ as in this video, then you're overhitting every shot b/c the wall removes energy from the ball & in a game that translates to attackable dinks.
In wall drills I like to add (disguized) lobs to cycle back to distance and drop/dink or drive/transition or drive/transition/drive/counterattack/reset & back to some close dinking. Lot of transition variations available.
Unfortunately topspin is going to bounce back high so you're feeding yourself easy junk when you throw in an occasional attack. So to work on quick volleys & half volleys, I'll vary initial attack spin to simulate opponents hitting at feet or shoulder, etc..
Another idea is using targets on the floor to drop into -- e.g. within 2 feet from the wall not a bad landing distance. Sometimes I just put a chair against the wall and try to make my shots come off the wall & land on the seat.
