Dude I really appreciate the care as well as the homes that you give to those little critters. Your husbandry practices are unmatched ! well you know what I mean....peace
I have a slider and im trying to get a tub for him when I move in the next month. Do you recommend this one or is there a different brand/size I should look at?
@@terrariumchannel yea I was looking at waterland tubs but the shipping is literally almost as much as the tub and the closest retailer I could pick one up from is 12 hours away so im going to have to figure something else out 🥴🙃
In my opinion the Zoomed tub is to small. I have one Clemmys guttata male in a small Waterlandtub and I wouldn't go any smaller than that. But that's just my opinion and I like space for my turtles. To bad they are so expensive if you want to import them to Europe though. But nice build, don't you need any support under the tubs?
Hi Fredrik. Bigger is always better ofcource! For sure. I know of many using them for their guttata males thats why I mentioned them. Because of the shape and relatif small size the tubs are sturdy enough so I dont think any extra support is needed. If they where just square pondtubs like I also have I would. But these are pretty sturdy.

Could you do a tour of all your setups? Would be really interesting to see all the species to work with.
In the works :) just wanna finish some stuff. Thanks for the input.
How much water does it hold?
I will check. Not to much. I believe between 75 to 90liters.
COOL
39″ x 21″ x 16″ would one this a size keep 3 turtles under 12 inches fit in one
Will it really only hold 13 gallons of water? Looks like can be more if fill close to the top of the ramp?
Sorry we dont use Gallons haha. But it will hold about /a bit less as 70 liters filled all the way to the top. Not a lot unfortunatly.

Hey! These tubs are definitly to small for sliders. Maybe as a growout. I only use them for relativily inactive small turtles.

Hey, great channel and awesome video! I want to do this for my zoomed tub! What size wood did you use for this?
Thanks :) this was 55x33mm. Seems to work well. I did end up attachting the tubs to the frame just to have it a bit more sturdy.
I have the zoomed turtle tub
Is it safe to fill it all the way to the top without risking the tub to crack?
Can you do an update on this tank?
Sure. What do you want to know?
Is it safe to fill water all the way to the top without the tub cracking?
Did not try. They are very sturdy so would not expect it. But pretty sure it will bend out. Best to put a frame around it then
@@terrariumchannel Thanks
Hi works with turtles diamondbacks terrapin adults?
No. Way to small
@@terrariumchannel thanks
Is this good for a spotted turtle to grow up in?
Thank you for this video. Was thinking about getting this, but it sucks it doesn’t hold enough water for my turtles :/
Glad it was of use :)
Are these good for red sliders
Noop, way to small for sure. Species like that need large setups, some are better kept in a pond.
Musk turtle
wow i though these were like the lagoons that kill the turtle after a weak thank god
They're actually really neat, I've seen people use turtle tubs for small crocodilians.

@@terrariumchannel Yeah, I understand. I'm just to nervous to build without the extra support. 😄
