Let me know what you guys think of this small reptilezoo. They had some fun species and seemed to breed. But also some odd choices of combinations and some enclosures could need an update. I love your new projects! I suggest you to cut a front opening regarding the new plastic bins for Sacalia, so you will have a glass\acrylic "window" to see your turtles
Thanks! I have thought about that but im afraid eventually that will fail. Maybe try it with one and see how it goes but not sure on it.
🤣. With this room I also open up the window often as most germans would suggest to but in the tropical room in winter thats not an option. The walls are covered with paint that lets the moisture out :) Hoe dan ook dankuwel en fijne dag :)
Stefan, you are warmly welcome in Warsaw 🙂 i will show you my collection ;)
Would be a good reason to finally visit Poland!
There are many other reasons, but yes, surely it is one of them🙂
I love the idea with the poster!
Danke danke.
@ gerne mein Lieber.
Fantastic! Maybe you could just saw/cut the extra 2cm of the feet from the shelves that are taller than its sibling? Granted, you probably would have to remove the setups that are currently there to cut off the extra length of the feet, and then put everything back on the shelves, but then it wouldn't bug you again that the two aren't the same height.
Yeah if I have time to do that before hibernation ends I might have to do that. For now my focus is to finish the Sacalia "rack" haha.
My turtles try to eat sponge filters 🤦🏻♂️ Drilled tanks with sumps would definitely help with pump noise.
For sure that would help a lot if ones has the space! I luckily only had the spunge eating issue ones and that was because there was algea growing on there. I have also seen my Malayemys scrape algea from flat stones.
Bellissimo lavoro
Grazie.
The passion and thought that goes into your projects is amazing and inspiring. We are all so guilty about getting animals before we even consider how or where we are going to keep them! Great content as usual!! Looking forward to the snake reveal!!
Those are very kind words. Thanks!
If you like the video, maybe help out by commenting your thoughts. Some more info: the whole room is painted with mold resistent paint. Just to help against issues and easier to clean.
I kept an over stocked African cichlid 150gal half circle for for 10yrs. When I saw one of these turtles I had to have it. I sold all of my cichlids except 5 of my favorites and added the turtle and a group of adult red rainbows. I absolutely love watching my turtle explore all day long. I was worried I was making a mistake getting rid of my fish but this guy absolutely put me at ease with my decision and everyone that comes over is jus blown away when they see him. They definitely need a large tank. Mine is in a 150gal and he doesn't stop all day.

I loved this zoo when I visited, but the weather wasn't so good - I would have liked to visit it twice on my stay in Arnhem but time didn't allow, especially as I was keen to visit Apenheul on the same trip. I hope to visit again one day
Hope you can make it back there with better weather.
I hope to start in the next two years, thanks to keep me from making mistakes
Thanks! Good luck on your project :)
You honestly answered a big question of mine with letting that one bite you 👍😂
I've visited this zoo a few times when in Europe - it's one of my favourites - also for the incredible waterfowl collection
Should pay more attention to that next time im there!
Love from borneo Indonesia ❤
How much water does it hold?
I will check. Not to much. I believe between 75 to 90liters.
Nice❣️What temp is the water heated?
That is beautiful❣️
This is great! Hope you can share Knowles with other keepers so they can become more available.
Congrats!
Such an amazing species. Holy Grail animal indeed!
Good conservation work man. What incredible little creatures.
Thanks :)
Awesome job. Dream species for me.
Thanks!
I’m surprised the lizards can’t climb the glass. These are really beautiful terrariums. And very healthy, happy animals.
Very nice! Paradise! I guess lizards choose to stay here!❤
❤ I so love the enclosure built around the tree and habitat!
Such a beautiful video.
He had the _Rippoleon_ for 14 years? Wow. Or did he mean that he's owned the SPECIES for that long? If it's that one chameleon, being 14 years old must be a record for them in captivity. I had one live maybe fourteen days. so sad... but it was possibly too warm or too cold as he said here. I was young and naive. in 2006. lol.
He has been keeping Chameleons in general.for 10+ years. But these been doing well and first CB. I have been quilty from the same issue when I did an internship at an importer. Unfortunatly the faith of many small often imported species.
I only discovered your channel a few days ago, and I've been watching all your Lanthanotis content. I'm more into aquarium fish but your videos on this lizard have really captured my interest. Thanks for your videos and I wish you good luck.
Aah thats great to read! Thanks. The aquarium hobby is at least as fascinating so great one to explore.
I love the nepenthes on the windowsill :D
Thanks! Unfortunatly I am currently batterling shieldlice :( But I sure love them.
Question, how are they with handling. I’m thinking about getting one but honestly I do enjoy spending time with my reptiles and that does include handling them
This for sure is a "display" animal only even they wont display themselves to much haha. Handling is only done when needed. Honestly they are kinda boring to keep for many do to their way of live.
@@terrariumchannel thank you!
Congrats! Well done!
So cool and so cute too!
Sadly I can own one where I live 😟
Thats a bummer. But luckily this hobby is full of cool species.
Super Video fijn dat ze langzaam wat meer In hobby beschikbaar worden .
You have some top tier content on your channel man. Great work!
Aah thanks! Cool to hear.
Are you german?
No sir. Very Dutch
👍
I’m Swedish
Holy crap. Congrats on getting a Mangshin Viper. So you're keeping Venomous again?
For this sp. I made an exception :)
It’s so nice to see captive bred ones not wild caught
To be honest thats what I see most but also depends where you look and your circles I guess. But I certainly agree that its good to see them bred more and more and especially consistently.
isnt ficus vilosa from Peru?
All info I find says Asia including Indo. :)
grats on the baby borneo , nice mangshan as well , any Spider-tailed horned viper ?
Thanks! I need to become more YT famous to be able to afford those 🤣 But honestly for me thats not an sp. Id like to keep.
Gefeliciteerd! Hele mooie prestatie 🤗
Danku danku :)
Wow what nice Terrariums ❤👍
Amazing animals and amazing husbandry. 32 degrees were just the start of Greek summers.
Thanks a lot! Haha us in NL are not used to those longer periods with such numbers. We have about 10months of autum a year :p
Gratuliere
Merci :)
