    We found it for $299 on Walmart cyber Monday. Thanks for the awesome video!

    Great video. I like this gas generator but Amazon can't ship it to California. I was given a hand me down Craftman 2500i from work which is quite heavy (55lbs) but still runs well. I'll be using it mainly for charging my power stations on cloudy or rainy days. Having one of this is good for my P.A.C.E. Plan. Looking forward to the next video.

    I browsed this product on Amazon a few days ago, but I was hesitant to buy it. I didn't expect to see your video introduction while staying up late, which successfully dispelled my doubts. I will place an order later!

    Good portable generator. Easy enough to carry to site, relatively quiet, but not exactly "silent". Fine for operating refrigerator, lights, etc, and the 30A connection allows direct plugin to the house.

    Just came across a sale on Amazon for $55 each so I bought two! They sold out in minutes and the price shot back up to $369.

    Should you only run it for 30 minutes on the first oil change? My instruction say to run 10 hours then change the oil. I'm just curious because I don't want to waste a lot of oil if I don't need to.

      The 30 mins was something that was told to me by a small engine guy that repairs them around here, he said get all the gunk and machining out of the way, then run it for 10 hours just to break it in

      Man. it's not gonna break the bank if you get an extra guart of oil to change the oil a little early !

    Thanks for the video. How do you empty the gas out?

    • @Iridium242
      @Iridium242  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used a gas siphon but you could just tip it over into a drain pan easy enough

    Great review and the first thing that came to mind was " Field Day " and VHF Contest.
    MOVING ONTO ANOTHER SUBJECT: I am wondering how well your VEVOR Gazebo Screen Tent held up in the "BIG" storm. Maybe you can put up another video with your after thoughts on the tent. 73's my friend.

    • @Iridium242
      @Iridium242  ปีที่แล้ว

      I took it down before the storm because of all the warnings and as it ended up it probably would have been fine, Need to put it back up

      @johneckert1690 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Iridium242 That's understandable. I was just thinking with the Generator, the VEVOR Gazebo Screen Tent all one needs is some solar panels and batteries. maybe a small wind turbine and you woukd be set for the big contest.
      Have a good one my friend.

    Will this run a portable stand up A/C unit for camping?

    • @Iridium242
      @Iridium242  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those stand up units draw a ton of power so you really would have to know how much power and amps the AC unit draws. A small portable window unit i am sure it will run

    I've got 2 inverter generators and a large tri fuel. One of them is a firman and the other is the cheap Walmart brand I got for 40$ since it wasn't running, just had to clean up the carb. I may have a problem with buying generators 😅

    • @gnosticbaseball
      @gnosticbaseball ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you run them in series or does the brand need to be the same?.

    • @CanadianGunsNgear
      @CanadianGunsNgear ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gnosticbaseball mine are different and don't have that feature and I'm pretty sure they'd have to be the same models to run tougher

    • @robertkubrick3738
      @robertkubrick3738 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@gnosticbaseball Some, like Honda may not even run together if they are the same make, it's why Honda has the "companion" generator in case you want to parallel them. As a general rule though, if they have parallel ports they will parallel.
