thats how it feels to me. both themes are cool but i love GP legend more in this one.
its interesting to see that CLimax has some themes better and then Gp has some other track themes way better

marxxplaysgames Lightning only ever had the Volute set. What he means is more than one designated style. Like how Fire Field had a Blast set, a Wreckage set, and its original form.
Like how Silence had Box Rink, Honeycomb Rink, and its original version

This is still the most fitting and memorable as TLP Howard's theme, in my opinion.
Ahh yes, that one battle where both sides can't even hit each other. Howard is kinda broken once he's playable though
This is one of few planets I think GP Legend did better than Climax.
love this planet so much, feels so climatic, and the part at 1:42 with the drums emotionally feels like a send-off to the series

+XDLugia A lot of people seem to hate GP Legend. It didn't sell very well and some people even blame it for the hiatus that the F-Zero series is currently on. We do know for a fact that there was a sequel to it-- F-Zero Climax-- but due to GP Legend's poor reception in America, Climax was never released outside of Japan.
actually it may have something to do with the shitty anime dub 4kids did never being finished that climax wasnt released...
shame too. because climax IS the best f-zero game on handhelds.
Yeah, I watched part of the English dub of the anime and it was terrible. The Japanese version is really good, though.
As an Fzero fan I did buy Fzero GP Legend back then, like the last copy I ever saw though and I dont regret it, it's awesome. Shame people did not support it and now we cant have Fzero back! >:-(

To be honest, Suzak made a pretty decent F-Zero game, but it felt like it could have been much better. It's very much impressive at how clean some of the songs sound for a GBA title, although some functions of the game are very... off-putting, like how boosting isn't accumulative (even in Climax), and how positioning is determined (it's more like Mario Kart, which unevens the difficulty a lot.)
Never mind, turns out Climax did reintroduce accumulative speed, at the ost of screen jerkiness, but that's a good tradeoff

It's easy. Just play utter cheese and use the Space Angler. Ain't too fast, soft as wet tissue paper but she handles like a dream
