- F-Zero The Legend of Falcon Lap 30 - Only One Falcon [Subbed]. In celebration of the 9th anniversary of the anime, I decided to sub the show with my friend Zedopp. We weren't too sure about some of the names, so they may not be entirely correct, but everything else should be fairly close to the original.
The material presented in the video belongs to Ashi Productions and TV Tokyo. We make no claims to anything. This is a fansub by fans for fans. I hope Black Shadow teaches his new band of Blood Falcons to sing musical numbers in harmony. That would make me happy.
You know what I only just now realized (and I feel kind of dumb admitting this)? Blood Falcon's outfit has the reverse colors of Captain Falcon's. And I don't mean the colors are inverted. I mean they're reversed; Blood Falcon's helmet is blue while his uniform is red -- the opposite of Captain Falcon! Also noteworthy, any gold coloration on Captain Falcon is silver on Blood Falcon. Pretty neat stuff!

That was one of the more badass episodes so far! I'm glad to see F-Zero as an awesome anime!
Again though, we've seen the Blood Hawk in so many races before this one; the fact that it (and Blood Falcon) are apparently only existing now makes no sense.
Also love how rubber banding is an actual force in this game; the fact that Blood Falcon can literally drive in reverse and still catch up is proof.

リュウとキャプテンファルコンが出来るのはリアクターマイトがあるからで、ブラッドファルコンが真似出来ても単純計算でブーストのエネルギー消費が２人の２倍だとしたら勝ち目は無い。（通常、ブーストは６回使える）

Man if only I could get a copy of that magazine since it looked really cool with both Falcons on it. But I'm glad the Captain won against Blood. But I'm kinda disappointed that Blood Falcon didn't get a machine more like Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon. If he makes a comeback, I hope he does get one.

Why does Black Shadow keep Blood Falcons in a bio-study tube with their clothes on? That's very wasteful since they'd need to wash their clothes as soon as they get out to get the green goop off.
Maybe that very act of inconsideration is what sets them evil and ready to go.
Yes, I think if one was just born and their first experience was wearing goopy clothes, that would likely skew one's view of the entire world and predispose one for evil acts. "Why am I wearing clothes? Who even dressed me? And why are they so damn goopy?! I must have vengeance!!"

Captain Falcon Vs Blood Falcon
Cool detail that I doubt anybody knows about: blood Falcon's VA, Banjo Ginga, also voices Liquid Snake in the JP version of Metal Gear Solid.
This is thus the 2nd time (afaik) that he voiced an evil clone of the main character who somehow shares all his genetic traits but not his exact voice, for some reason. Dunno if they intentionally did it as a little wink-and-a-nod. Also fun fact, Captain Falcon's VA also voiced Otacon in MGS.

Blood Falcon. Fun fact, Blood Falcon is the only character who's a confirmed minion of Black Shadow in both continuities.
Honestly I really don't have much to say about him, because there's not much to say about him. He's the most one-dimensional character in the entire franchise. He's also the one character in the anime who was _completely_ unchanged from the main series. I mean, there is that weirdness with "Goo Falcon" later on but that doesn't really change the actual character much.
One thing that does bother me about his anime incarnation, though, is his racing number. Blood Falcon is "born" during the series, but he still pilots machine #25. Shouldn't that number have been taken by another machine? I know the Doylist reason is because that's always been his number, but watsonianly he'd have to either have replaced the previous #25 or have a different number.
As for racing with Captain Falcon... honestly it's really no contest. Blood Hawk is roughly an equal to Captain Falcon, and he pilots a VASTLY superior machine. In every game it's been in except GX, Blood Hawk has been a consistent top tier. It's THE best machine in X, holding the largest number of world records, and it's in the top three in both GP Legend and Climax. The anime making Blood Hawk and Blue Falcon equals does _not_ do this monster machine justice.
I guess I'll take a moment to talk a bit about the track. This is in fact Thunder Road from GX/AX, although the layout is different, likely to simplify animating the machines.
Imagine if in some sequel to this anime, one of the clones tries to find the meaning of life now that he has free will :P

I hear "Black Fire" pretty clearly with my headphones. I agree Blood Fire would make sense, but the 'ck' sound is pretty hard to mistake.

"mini" isn't a measurement prefix. Neither is "macro" (not for units, at least). "milli" means 1/1000, "micro" means 1/1 000 000. Captain Falcon's victory was actually by 0.0002 seconds, which is 0.2 milliseconds!
(I don't think the games can even keep track of time that precisely! 2 microseconds is even shorter, though)
If F-Zero GX could measure the digits below the seconds, It sure would. I've played It and won because of such little differences, but they just put the same time difference :l

So, it's Dr.Stewart who created Blood Falcon, huh? But I noticed this : Blood Falcon will never win against Captain Falcon because of his Blood Hawk. He's powerful indeed, but not yet against the true Falcon...
At the end of the course, Blood Falcon's machine had a critical failure. I think it's because it cannot handle the Blood Fire (the spin technique). I see the anime for the first time so I can't tell for sure, but for what I understand only Falcon, Ryu and Black Shadow machines can handle the spin technique. In addition, Blood Falcon was in the middle of the two spin so there could possibly exist a sandwitch spin technique. He would probably have win if the machine would have endure it just a little more.
@@cellistrae994 Yes it can't. The Boost/Black/Death/Blood Fire is a technique that requires the use of a Reactor Might.
It sounds like Dark Million was able to steal some of Dr. Stewart’s medical research when he was working on Mighty Gazelle which is how they got the cloning tech, but Black Shadow independently got Falcon’s DNA…somehow
@@emblemblade9245 That's what happened : when Dr.Stewart was transplanting Roy Hughes' brain in the robot who would be known as Mighty Gazelle, Dark Million stole a part of his research, one of them included Andy Summer/Captain Falcon's DNA.
