Ian has somehow created an entirely new genre of video that is both meant to be watched intently for all the hidden jokes and spectacular edits and yet is somehow just as enjoyable on in the background while you're half paying attention and working on something else. Frozen food reviews and blind ranch taste tests have no business having this much rewatchability appeal but they absolutely do.
My favorite is the hidden valley ranch powder (not the "Dip" powder though, just the regular old dressing powder) made with buttermilk and Mayo. Not only is it "The Best" tasting, it's also the most "Ranchy" tasting out of all ranches.
All I can imagine is Ian's family off camera looking on in horror as he gallops in place, screaming, "I work on a ranch, I live on a ranch, I watch the ranch, I live on a ranch."

Strange how everyone in the US seems to love ranch dressing. Here in Germany it is virtually unknown and you can only buy it at shops specialised in selling exotic foreign foodstuffs.
Eh we don't all love it, it's fairly average, but the people who do love it tend to be really loud about it. I personally think it's a crime against food when I see people pouring it over their pizza.
There's a surprising amount of backlash and ranch hate here actually. Especially if you mention ranch to a pretentious food-bro he will *IMMEDIATELY* tell you "I prefer blue cheese to ranch! Ranch sucks!" The ranch hate people are like the CrossFit vegans of the dip world personally don't love it, but it has some good applications. I like it with sweet potato fries or dipping veg trays. It's okay on some salads.
Marzettis, Kens, Wishbone, Tuscan Garden, Kraft, Walden Farms, even store brand Great Value? This feels lacking in ranchy goodness and I have to say your ransearch has fallen flat of your goal. 10/10, want more ranch

I know this'll get lost in here, but I personally recommend Ken's ranch dressing, it's usually in the produce and it's refrigerated and it is _excellent._ We used to use it at the store that I worked at and it was the closest to homemade ranch that I've had from a bottle.
I used to work at a local wing joint and I loved the ranch dressing we had. There's just something about wholesale restaurant ranch that seems so good. Maybe it's in my head but I love that stuff. I just can't really find something at the grocery store I like as much. J.

@@creeke_alley Makes me glad that those first frozen food videos did well enough that he branched away from game reviews. So many people do that already, and it's all so similar, it's nice seeing him be able to apply that same sort of format so such a wide variety of things, while also having a lot more creative freedom by not restricting himself to jokes that need to work with a game.
I personally love the ranch packets. But I cannot imagine dipping fries in it, the recipe is more of a veggie dip kind of deal. However, it's definitely the most versatile because you can use it to cook with. You can add it to pretty much anything (my favorite is casseroles) to give it that ranch zip. They also have ranch seasoning they offer now, I think the dip stuff is the same but more concentrated.

Strange how everyone in the US seems to love ranch dressing. Here in Germany it is virtually unknown and you can only buy it at shops specialised in selling exotic foreign foodstuffs.
Eh we don't all love it, it's fairly average, but the people who do love it tend to be really loud about it. I personally think it's a crime against food when I see people pouring it over their pizza.
There's a surprising amount of backlash and ranch hate here actually. Especially if you mention ranch to a pretentious food-bro he will *IMMEDIATELY* tell you "I prefer blue cheese to ranch! Ranch sucks!"
The ranch hate people are like the CrossFit vegans of the dip world
personally don't love it, but it has some good applications. I like it with sweet potato fries or dipping veg trays. It's okay on some salads.

My assumption is that these are more dressings than dips so they weren't the main focus (hidden valley seems to be the only dressing in this batch), but yes I would love to see how the dressings stack up. Ranch follow up, the people want to know

I love how Chick-Fil-A is his favourite as he says, and then not even 3 MINUTES LATER, it ends up being worse by the only other sauce he tasted lmao
I think he psyched himself out. The only reason it ended up being made 2nd best was because he thought it was the Chic-Fil-A one and didn’t want to have called it as wrong as he did.

I know this'll get lost in here, but I personally recommend Ken's ranch dressing, it's usually in the produce and it's refrigerated and it is _excellent._ We used to use it at the store that I worked at and it was the closest to homemade ranch that I've had from a bottle.
Ken's is usually the good stuff. BBQ joint I worked at had Kens sauces for all the sauces we didn't make in house. Really love their Asian dressing.

I used to work at a local wing joint and I loved the ranch dressing we had. There's just something about wholesale restaurant ranch that seems so good. Maybe it's in my head but I love that stuff. I just can't really find something at the grocery store I like as much. J.

So many people do that already, and it's all so similar, it's nice seeing him be able to apply that same sort of format so such a wide variety of things, while also having a lot more creative freedom by not restricting himself to jokes that need to work with a game.

I can’t express how much I wish I knew the music Ian uses for his videos, I love it all
I personally love the ranch packets. But I cannot imagine dipping fries in it, the recipe is more of a veggie dip kind of deal. However, it's definitely the most versatile because you can use it to cook with. You can add it to pretty much anything (my favorite is casseroles) to give it that ranch zip. They also have ranch seasoning they offer now, I think the dip stuff is the same but more concentrated.
My family always uses the ranch packets to make dip for wavy lays!
Ian, you should've bought a veggie tray instead of all those McDonald's french fries to try the different ranch dressings.
