Apparently Netflix gave them a 2 million up front to cover production starting costs, but the Cuntess of Winge and The Cuck Prince won't see any more until their show airs. Maybe I'll do a review of it.

Yep. That’s me exactly. I often get only 2 minutes into a series before it becomes unbearably woke, and I’m forced to bale. Nowadays mostly watch old films on Netflix, would dump it entirely but the wife pays for it, so we have it.
For awhile (I do not pay for netflix it's paid for by someone I live with and have a profile for when I use it) I primarily used Netflix for anime but even then that has slowed down, some have their animation teams replaced and netflix uses unskilled animators andthe series decreases in quality and it takes almost half a year for a new season of said show to get put on the platform when it's already out in Japan and other anime apps.
That skit at the end isn’t too far off. A couple weeks ago, I went to Barnes and noble with my friend. We were talking about anime at the counter. One of the cashiers started going on about “Attack on Titan is ImPERiaLisT prOPaGanda” 🙄 I’m like “is it? Or is that just the setting and politics of the world within AoT?” I could tell they were Wokies before they even started talking tbh.
That's interesting. It's also ironic, the woke are cultural imperialists! They are determined to conquer and colonize every franchise they can sink their claws into. The one they do that pisses me off the most is when celebrities and politicians talk about flying and climate change and making changes while they all jet around the world on private planes and produce so much co2 and shit. DiCaprio literally flew alone in a private plane around the world to talk about and accept an award for climate stuff. I forget exactly what the exact amounts were but a private flight like that produces way more than an average person produces in an entire damn year.

This one is particularly egregious to me because that's an actual person who had portraits painted and her features documented. Plus, she gave birth to Queen Elizabeth I. Even the more moderate of the woke crowd didn't like the idea that British imperialism, was all performed in the name of mixed race monarchs.

Pushing the politically correct agenda is nothing new. As far back as the 80's, they were very subtly inserting, 'the message', into programming. Except, back then, it was fleeting at best, and done in a very surreptitious way, to the point where you hardly noticed it. As the woke ideology gained a bit more momentum into the 00's, it became less subtle until around the mid 10's when they shamelessly started to push the agenda openly, to the point where anyone who doesn't go along with it is instantly labelled as some form of bigot.
For over a decade I helped run a wilderness canoe trip that I wouldn't simply describe as hard, I would call it grueling. We took teenaged boys on a wilderness survival trip most adult men wouldn't choose to do. It was, quite literally, a hazing ritual. At least one kid broke down and cried every time. Whenever I run into any of these kids, now adults, they describe that trip as the greatest month of their lives. Yes, they were hazed. And on the other side if that hazing was manhood. I think the best hazing is one that the hazer doesn't just subject the initiates to, but participates in as well. The hazer isn't just asking, "How much punishment can you take?" but instead, "This is going to be hard. Can you keep up?"

Exactly brother. I have zero problem with gay people because they are gay. Gays have always existed, is always been a known thing, if not celebrated and flouted. But I don't celebrate and flout my own sexual predilections either, it's no one's business, it's classless to do so, and if you are so obsessed over who you get turned on by that it becomes your whole sense of self and identity, then you don't have a healthy mind at all. This was a great documentary, when that Cuties movie was made it showed the direction Netflix were going in and I don’t have any sympathy if the company goes under. This was their choice to prioritise all this ideological rhetoric in the shows/movies, rather than entertaining the masses. They blame the audience for problems on certain issues but usually get caught out on their virtue signalling whilst not practicing what they preach, and trying to normalise abnormal behaviour particularly to a young audience.

What I hate the most is when I'm watching a show and usually in season 3 the woketard dept. realized there weren't enough cancer in the show so they suddenly include more Mary Sues to emmasculate the main characters and kill whatever femininity was left in the female characters. Even if you find a show that's tolerable among all the garbage, if that show is successful and it's in Netflix power to change it, they will ruin it for everyone sooner than later.

I still pay for it because my mom uses Netflix a lot (she prefers the more boring, safe trash that is abundant on Netflix) but she lives in the next county over so on the rare occasion Dad and I boot up Netflix we get the Spanish Inquisition first. 🙄

I tried to watch a cooking show on there once at my gf's place and they go to portland and spend maybe 5% of the show on food, the rest being lgbt and minorities telling stories about themselves and how oppressed and brave they are. Some asian girl talking about how hard it was growing up because the other kids laughed at the smelly food her mom packed for her and how her food now was a love letter to herself as a child. Not mind you to other little kids but to herself. It has just become absolutely unwatchable with 15k different female stand up comic specials and shows like the one about the wife cheating on her perfect husband. Its all just gross and hateful. The difference between that and what he is talking about is that these are young men who chose to enter that group knowing that was the initiation. You didn't have any choice but to go into High School. If there is no way to avoid the hazing, it's not hazing, it's just abuse. In most schools it's ultimately voluntary, you just won't be accepted as part of the group if you decline. Which is the point. They want to to suffer the common ordeal. If it wasn't unpleasant it wouldn't be hazing, and if it's too much for you then you would be one of the weak ones it's intended to weed out. Although it should also be proportional to the group you are trying to join. There is no real reason to "weed out the weak" in a High School, so no reason for excessive cruelty. Some embarrassment and discomfort should be the most of it, with an option to not participate if you aren't willing to do that ritual. However kids rarely have any sense of proportion, and are prone to just be cruel given the chance. No one is more cruel than kids can be, and bullies will use it as an excuse to do what they like. Although if it works out, they got the same when they joined, which is fair enough.

One thing that I realized while watching things on Netflix, is that from time to time there is a scene that is more like a woke lecture than something that is relevant to the TV show.
Because current method of farming, fish sourcing food is filled with abuse in general. But you cn always reduce consumption and idk plant some trees, grow your own vegetables. They will be definitely more healthy than anything you will buy in store. Coz using artificial fertelizers and pesticides definitely makes plants lose a lot of vitamines

I'm going to have to disagree with you on hazing. It was not uncommon for it to end in injury or death. There are better ways of "men" proving their strength and bonding through overcoming hardships together than some of the horrible things that happen in fraternities. I put men in quotation marks because I'd hardly refer to adolescents entrance in bad behavior when they get their first taste of freedom from their parents as men. I don't like the term toxic masculinity, but I do definitely think it is toxic behavior.

Also Netflix over race swap white characters in their adapted series from comics and video games. Plenty of blacks who are loyal to the comics and games have had issues with that, because it's really insulting, because it's not an actual black roll. why should they cheer on a black person for getting a tokenized role? Why doesn't Netflix just adapt an actual black character from the comics rather than just skip over and blackwash a white character that was already envisioned to be what the creator wanted them to be then claim to put in representation so these people can see a reflection of themselves in these adaptations? Another thing they can do is come up with a new character of color, but don't make them about woke political nonsense.

Or black families don't exist. Everything is "mixed" but it's ALWAYS a black male. That and a lot of the commercials are simply BLACK. Everyone in them is black. Nothing wrong with that in theory but you really start to notice it when it's so often and repeated.

I know it was an Amazon show and this line is lifted directly from the comic and 90's cartoon, but I think the Tick sums it up pretty well when he says "You're not going crazy, you're going sane in a crazy world!" I can't help but remember it every time I'm faced with media pushing this dogshit in my face. Starting to think it was cancelled because it depicts a strong male lead, because I actually enjoyed the two seasons it did get. It even had compelling female characters like Dot and Miss Lint. I thought of an idea for a supervillain named Mx. Reflection, their power is that they can turn anyone into an exact copy of zerself. It changes the victims race, voice, gender, and appearance but not their internal motivations or behavior even if it would now be completely out of left field for them to keep that motivation or behavior due to their new physical make up.

The footage of the wildfires got me internally chuckling. There are two main reasons why California has such a problem with wildfires: the first is that they consume way too much water, diverting rivers and drying up lakes and marshes, and the second is that they don't manage their forests at all. Yes, there is such a thing as forest management, people have been doing it rather effectively for thousands of years. Native Americans had excellent forest management practices that involved controlled burns and not overworking the land or fucking diverting rivers. The fires can actually be very good too, which people forget- the seeds of redwoods and many other long-living, large tree species in California require the hot temperatures from a fire to start sprouting. Fires clear away the old trees' canopy and allow for new ones to grow and create a new canopy. The climate activist idiots forget these things and excuse the lack of stewardship of Californians while pointing the finger at the rural and lower class populations that live infinitely more sustainably than them.
This is a case of malice, not incompetence. The climate zealots know that controlled burns, fire breaks and general management will prevent wildfires, they don't want that. Epic wildfires make for great climate change propaganda. The woke left want forest fires.

Yep. That’s me exactly. I often get only 2 minutes into a series before it becomes unbearably woke, and I’m forced to bale. Nowadays mostly watch old films on Netflix, would dump it entirely but the wife pays for it, so we have it.
For awhile (I do not pay for netflix it's paid for by someone I live with and have a profile for when I use it) I primarily used Netflix for anime but even then that has slowed down, some have their animation teams replaced and netflix uses unskilled animators andthe series decreases in quality and it takes almost half a year for a new season of said show to get put on the platform when it's already out in Japan and other anime apps.

Pushing the politically correct agenda is nothing new. As far back as the 80's, they were very subtly inserting, 'the message', into programming. Except, back then, it was fleeting at best, and done in a very surreptitious way, to the point where you hardly noticed it. As the woke ideology gained a bit more momentum into the 00's, it became less subtle until around the mid 10's when they shamelessly started to push the agenda openly, to the point where anyone who doesn't go along with it is instantly labelled as some form of bigot.
For over a decade I helped run a wilderness canoe trip that I wouldn't simply describe as hard, I would call it grueling. We took teenaged boys on a wilderness survival trip most adult men wouldn't choose to do. It was, quite literally, a hazing ritual. At least one kid broke down and cried every time.
Whenever I run into any of these kids, now adults, they describe that trip as the greatest month of their lives. Yes, they were hazed. And on the other side if that hazing was manhood.
I think the best hazing is one that the hazer doesn't just subject the initiates to, but participates in as well. The hazer isn't just asking, "How much punishment can you take?" but instead, "This is going to be hard. Can you keep up?"

This was a great documentary, when that Cuties movie was made it showed the direction Netflix were going in and I don’t have any sympathy if the company goes under.
This was their choice to prioritise all this ideological rhetoric in the shows/movies, rather than entertaining the masses. Even if you find a show that's tolerable among all the garbage, if that show is successful and it's in Netflix power to change it, they will ruin it for everyone sooner than later.

Occasional woke inserts from corporate influences but the author is an executive producer and writer so it stays really good and follows the books to a very close degree

I tried to watch a cooking show on there once at my gf's place and they go to portland and spend maybe 5% of the show on food, the rest being lgbt and minorities telling stories about themselves and how oppressed and brave they are. Some asian girl talking about how hard it was growing up because the other kids laughed at the smelly food her mom packed for her and how her food now was a love letter to herself as a child. Not mind you to other little kids but to herself. It has just become absolutely unwatchable with 15k different female stand up comic specials and shows like the one about the wife cheating on her perfect husband. Its all just gross and hateful. Amazon prime is just as bad unfortunately as is disney plus.

The difference between that and what he is talking about is that these are young men who chose to enter that group knowing that was the initiation. You didn't have any choice but to go into High School. If there is no way to avoid the hazing, it's not hazing, it's just abuse. In most schools it's ultimately voluntary, you just won't be accepted as part of the group if you decline. Which is the point. They want to to suffer the common ordeal. If it wasn't unpleasant it wouldn't be hazing, and if it's too much for you then you would be one of the weak ones it's intended to weed out.
Although it should also be proportional to the group you are trying to join. There is no real reason to "weed out the weak" in a High School, so no reason for excessive cruelty. Some embarrassment and discomfort should be the most of it, with an option to not participate if you aren't willing to do that ritual. However kids rarely have any sense of proportion, and are prone to just be cruel given the chance. No one is more cruel than kids can be, and bullies will use it as an excuse to do what they like. Although if it works out, they got the same when they joined, which is fair enough.

Hell, why do you think LGBTQ/Alphabet community-focused Western animated TV Shows are being torched and outclassed by Story-focused Japanese animated TV Shows? Because people are sick of the Culture War and would rather support quality products rather than political crap.

One thing that I realized while watching things on Netflix, is that from time to time there is a scene that is more like a woke lecture than something that is relevant to the TV show.
Because current method of farming, fish sourcing food is filled with abuse in general. But you cn always reduce consumption and idk plant some trees, grow your own vegetables. They will be definitely more healthy than anything you will buy in store. Coz using artificial fertelizers and pesticides definitely makes plants lose a lot of vitamines

I'm going to have to disagree with you on hazing. It was not uncommon for it to end in injury or death. There are better ways of "men" proving their strength and bonding through overcoming hardships together than some of the horrible things that happen in fraternities. I put men in quotation marks because I'd hardly refer to adolescents entrance in bad behavior when they get their first taste of freedom from their parents as men. I thought of an idea for a supervillain named Mx. Reflection, their power is that they can turn anyone into an exact copy of zerself. It changes the victims race, voice, gender, and appearance but not their internal motivations or behavior even if it would now be completely out of left field for them to keep that motivation or behavior due to their new physical make up.

Native Americans had excellent forest management practices that involved controlled burns and not overworking the land or fucking diverting rivers. The fires can actually be very good too, which people forget- the seeds of redwoods and many other long-living, large tree species in California require the hot temperatures from a fire to start sprouting. Fires clear away the old trees' canopy and allow for new ones to grow and create a new canopy. The climate activist idiots forget these things and excuse the lack of stewardship of Californians while pointing the finger at the rural and lower class populations that live infinitely more sustainably than them.
This is a case of malice, not incompetence. The climate zealots know that controlled burns, fire breaks and general management will prevent wildfires, they don't want that. Epic wildfires make for great climate change propaganda. The woke left want forest fires.
