I'm going to have to disagree on most damaged franchise. Fans of Professor Tolkien have patently rejected the rings of power. The trilogy is all that truly matters. Star Wars fans have been teased and abused to the point where they can't even watch the original trilogy with joy.
Correct. Star Wars as a whole is ruined for me. The prequels were bad, but after the most recent movies and shows, I genuinely cannot even watch the originals

It is true that Hollywood needed an earthquake to change some inertias, and change really did happen. But now the massive excesses of Wokism, as with any ideology will be trimmed. We will be left with more women, more non whites having a way open to show the little or much talent they may have, we will get used to see the whole nation more represented in Hollywood at all levels, but certainly bad acting, bad scripts, blatant political statements disguised as new characters will lead Hollywood to lose the only thing they really care about: money, tons of it. For the show to go on the audiences will have to put all these political manipulations, all these antiwestern pamphlets in their right place, as it is happening with the movies presented here and many others that people have massively and rightfully rejected. It will help that even by many by people theoretically represented by Wokism don't want to see crap disguised as representativity and "inclusion". Yes, enough is enough, and the needed changes, which didn't start with Wokism by the way, will stay and all the BS will be legitimately send in the trash can of cinema history.
There are still millions who are watching and the advertisement dollars are still flowing.

Having paid zero attention to any of these films, I was so happily entertained by these awards. Since there is no merit based writing, producing, directing or acting in Tinseltown at this stage of its devolution, you can only expect ineptitude, incompetence and failure at the box-office. The mass insanity that is wokeness has no other direction than to fail miserably while eating its young.

Met Robbie Coltrane in an Edinburgh swimming pool when I was about 10. Didn’t really know who he was but my dad did and asked for a photo. He could have agreed and left immediately, or said he didn’t want a photo taking in what I now realise is a bit of a weird situation. Instead he happily waited for my dad to run and grab his camera then spent 15 minutes just chatting to me and my dad. Just an all round great human being.

I just hated being told what to think and how to feel by the LGBT, and they really didn't like that I don't support third wave feminism since I'm second wave. Many of my favorite characters are straight men (Luke Skywalker, Chris Redfield, Prince Zuko, etc.).

The most ironic thing is this is probably the most entertainment I'll ever get from these shows and movies. Constant humorous bashing that's amazingly well written and delivered, something these very companies couldn't even give us, and for 50 solid minutes; every single second was pure gold. This was the best awards show I've watched in over 20 years. It's also the only one, but that doesn't make it less brilliant.
The thing that I kind of find amusing in the whole Amber Heard situation is, that even if she were to redeem herself and even on the absurd chance that there would surface new evidence that would make her absolutely have the moral high ground in this...
...even decades from now, if she were to be cast in the most fantastic projects, most people would go "that's the lady that pooped the bed on purpose"
She could be the first person on Mars and she would be remembered as 'that chick that shit in Jonny Depp's bed'.

That quote from J.R.R Tolkien said is true, evil can only turn anything it touches into a grotesque perversion of its image. Wokeness is that evil touch & it cannot be allowed to spread to other respected stories/genres/products.
He was spot on. Evil does not create anything new, it only inverts and perverts the good that exists in the world. And humans invented it out of an emotion as cowardly as fear.

I should write down the ads that break into YT videos; the segues can be very entertaining. Some break in so seamlessly that, unless you are watching, paying attention, it's a few seconds before one realizes that it's now in an ad. Some coincidences are hilarious. There were a few good ones in this video alone, case in point, the award going to Juicy Smollier was immediately followed by an ad for a composting device. The award to Amber Heard was interrupted by a "Send a cake; explosion box". Kareniathon's stand-up was great. What are her tour dates and venues (though I am many months late)? Great video overall. Of course you had a lot of material to "honor", but fifty minutes must have taken some work. I have subscribed and, given that Woke has quickened its pace down Stupidity Road this year, I look forward to the next round of awards.
Lets hope the writers strike continues.
Honestly as a Tolkien fan, I was never more proud than I was last year. It's like if one franchise had to be "ruined" to finally bring fans together to stand against the nonsense, in a way I'm happy it was Tolkien. Amazon has learned the hard way that you DON'T mess with the Professor's works.

The worst part of Reva was the terrible attempt at a redemption arc, which they have no idea how to write. She didn't kill one kid in a Force knows how many years reign of terror which had involved killing many many people. Wow, she's good now! Apparently you can now just self ID as good?
