What they were doing in the 70s and 80s, especially in foreign countries was pretty new when it came to cracking down on illegal psychoactives.

It wasn't really fully clear that you could not stop illegal drugs until the early 90s or late 80s at earliest. DEA didn't even have that much funding or agents prior to Kiki's murder in 1985 which then made the DEA a lot more legitimate.

For every shipment that is caught I bet 9 more get through. If that wasnt the case then prices would be much higher to reflect the limited supply and constant demand. Id choose to either completely legalize all drugs with increased support and therapy for drug users or to ban all drugs (including alcohol and tobacco) and institute harsh penalties for anyone that sells it or consumes it. Anything in the middle (meaning partial legalization) doesnt make sense because it's based on nonsensical distinctions and arbitrary rules.

Does anyone ever really believe that drugs will ever be stopped? What is sad, is that no-one takes the drug epidemic seriously. Kids lives are ruined every day by class A drugs. We live in Brittany, France. It is the country area of the North West of France and marijuana is everywhere. Class A drugs are in plentiful supply. Nothing will change until ALL the US states and ALL OF EUROPE and the UK legalise ALL drugs so that the market is removed.
