No I didn't use either actually. I hole sawed some 20mm HPDE board I had lying around and used them as spaces. Nuts, bolts and washers sandwiching everything together.
They look ok, you could have made better use of the space, some rolling draws on one side would have been a better use of the space, all u can do now is pile stuff in very un organised. Don’t get me wrong you did a great job just think it through a bit more don’t just get stuck on they are boxes for seats on a boat u really need to optimise all free space. They will now end up having crap put in because u can’t put anything of value or fragile in them
You're quite the garage craftsman. I applaud you.
Unbelievable job man. They're perfect. I mess around with boats quite often and ive done my fair share of fiberglass work. Flawless.
Thank you!
You done a nice job!!
Tip always use a structural mat for corner joints then overlap full sheets of chop for inside
Awesome job brother!
awesome !!! nice job!
Very good, nice work 👌
Very nice work
Nice job! Did you use Thermolite standard or Thermolite tough for these boxes?
how did you bolt the seats on ? , did you fit sliders or swivels
I need to do a similar job myself
cheers

whats next for the mk5?
If you value your health and lungs I would highly suggest a respirator and other PPE when working with this stuff.
I wear a 3M respirator at all times when sanding fibreglass
Your corner radius is to small

Maybe for the mad keen line fisherman, not me though. I use them to store about 7 life jackets, dive gear and flares etc
Lmfao, you can't be serious.
I know you're young and invincible, but cutting Coosa (or anything else) without a respirator and eye protection is the height of stupidity.
