I haven't done anything remotely artistic since preschool. I've had the urge every now and then, but just figured it'd be too much effort, a lot of cost involved and I'd have to spend years and years practising before I'd start producing anything that looked good. Thanks so much for the video. Very simple, straightforward and easy to understand instructions, and a fantastic looking painting. Going to give it a try this weekend!

Hello Clive! I just wanted to stop in and say thank you for the incredible tutorial clear cut instructions and great tips! I saw this and had to give it a go! My grandmother was a gifted artist and this was my first attempt with acrylic painting. I showed my mother the painting after I finished and she was astounded. I was too to be honest! I wasted tons of paint, however, thanks to you and Cinnamon and Ginger and a few others...I actually started painting. I had the greatest time doing this in the wee hours of the night, I used a sea sponge instead of the wax paper and it turned out beautiful. I used an 8x10 flat canvas I had on hand.. You did a wonderful job showing how to do the birds and tree branch, I feel like my birds came out so beautiful, my husband will be pleased. Thank you Clive very much for your time and tutorials.

Hi and thank you for your support don't forget do just watch but observe and learn when you paint if things don't work like you want don't get upset but try and understand why it's not working sometimes we blame ourselves but it's just practice, think of a pilot we can't all fly a plane but after learning how we must then practice then we can pilot a plane, remember we are all the same it's just some people spend more time on one subject than others that's how they become good at it, all my best please share my videos with others thanks Clive

this is so simple and really lovely..... i have been painting for a few years and have had some of my paintings on exhibition, but i really enjoyed this as it has reminded me that sometimes you dont have to try to produce a Picasso or Rembrandt to be able to turn out a lovely work of art.... im actually going to do this one, as i havnt painted in a while and feel a bit rusty now , and need to ease myself back into it with something easy,.... i have left off painting before , and when ive gone back to it again, ive gone straight into something complicated and ended up staring at it despondently ,... and regretted it !!! lol..... too much , too fast , too soon !!!.... :-?

I haven't done anything remotely artistic since preschool. I've had the urge every now and then, but just figured it'd be too much effort, a lot of cost involved and I'd have to spend years and years practising before I'd start producing anything that looked good.

Hello Clive! I just wanted to stop in and say thank you for the incredible tutorial clear cut instructions and great tips! I saw this and had to give it a go! My grandmother was a gifted artist and this was my first attempt with acrylic painting. I showed my mother the painting after I finished and she was astounded. I was too to be honest! I am so excited to start learning more and letting my inner creativity shine. :) Needless to say I will be subscribing!

I had the greatest time doing this in the wee hours of the night, I used a sea sponge instead of the wax paper and it turned out beautiful. I used an 8x10 flat canvas I had on hand.. You did a wonderful job showing how to do the birds and tree branch, I feel like my birds came out so beautiful, my husband will be pleased. Thank you Clive very much for your time and tutorials.

Hi and thank you for your support don't forget do just watch but observe and learn when you paint if things don't work like you want don't get upset but try and understand why it's not working sometimes we blame ourselves but it's just practice, think of a pilot we can't all fly a plane but after learning how we must then practice then we can pilot a plane, remember we are all the same it's just some people spend more time on one subject than others that's how they become good at it, all my best please share my videos with others thanks Clive

this is so simple and really lovely..... i have been painting for a few years and have had some of my paintings on exhibition, but i really enjoyed this as it has reminded me that sometimes you dont have to try to produce a Picasso or Rembrandt to be able to turn out a lovely work of art.... im actually going to do this one, as i havnt painted in a while and feel a bit rusty now , and need to ease myself back into it with something easy,.... i have left off painting before , and when ive gone back to it again, ive gone straight into something complicated and ended up staring at it despondently ,... and regretted it !!! lol..... too much , too fast , too soon !!!.... :-?

It's amazing how much atmosphere a small painting has :) Aparently you don't need many elements to create something that touches people's heart :) I will definitely try painting something like this next week.
