It's always neat to see how different people interpret things. For example, I might have had my character wonder why the gas tank was almost empty, considering he'd filled it just prior to going out last night. Then the "carry riches" would have been the discovery of something extremely valuable left in the car by... someone. But whom? As he pondered this, he might start having odd flashbacks/ half-memories of the night before, but nothing makes sense, as if he's looking at someone else's life (neglect reality) and so on.
Since you got a no I would interpret "carry riches" to mean he lost his waller at some point last night and didn't realize it until this morning when he figured out he needed gas.
I've never played a tabletop roleplaying game before. Been wanting to learn but figuring out how to do it, and do it solo has been a challenge. This video was a major help. Made me realize the game ststem rules are less important to the story than I realized. The "Fate Chart" is a major help. ;)
Heh, at the 'Carry Riches' part my mind also went straight to the money transport trucks. My thought was either an accident or even a robbery. I love the GME it has given me so many great events during my soloing so far as well as birthed two NPCs that became PCs. 🙂 Also Fate Chart!

I am very lucky I found this hobby, although I did not know it as a hobby, I thought I made it up myself when I was very young. I'm reading the rules again for a second time and so far it looks like you only roll for the "Event Focus Table" when you get doubles that are the same number as the chaos track or under it, so example, the chaos track is at 5, so if you roll 11,22,33,44,55, you can roll the event focus table, and then you have to roll for action subject, I can't find anywhere that says you can roll just for action and subject... This video was wonderful motivation for solo roleplaying - I always overthink it which takes all the fun away but I was grinning as you turned the mundane into the entertaining (and I was hoping epic - I really wanted the extreme no of declining the managerial job to be an epic tirade about the company failing to pay its employees sufficiently and how this is the rot at the heart of the company etc. - and he has this mysterious ledger of the widely varying and largely unjust salaries of the company, and how he's going to air that dirty laundry if he's not given a spot on the board of directors post haste)
Glad you enjoyed it! As for the extreme no at the end, I might’ve been more imaginative but I was getting really tired at around that time it was probably 2 AM in the morning 😂

Fate chart
@@wilonascave Ah yes I forgot, to be honest it was pretty well presented for such sleep deprivation
No problem, it seems like a lot of people enjoy this so maybe I’ll continue doing stories like this and maybe some more adventurous ones just using the Fate chart and random tables. And like you mentioned, I wanted to prove to people that you could just make a story sort of interesting with a very boring setting
