    As someone trying solo rp for the first time and hoping to play through some campaign books I've just always really wanted to try and can't get friends aboard, this is incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to film, edit and share this with all of us newbies just getting started in the solo rp hobby.

      I'm glad this video was helpful. For me Dragonbane adventures and Old-school adventure books (like the ones from basic fantasy that you can get free) have been the best adventures to play solo.
      Here's hoping that many great adventures await you!

    I'm glad that you pointed out that the Dragonbane adventures have scaling built in. I was waiting to solo those until I found a good way to adjust them.
    Great video again!

      No worries! While it's not perfect it definitely helps!

    Amazing content. Thank you ❤. Dragonbane adventures seem to be a great start for solo if you don't want to go completely without any pillars to your run. I'll need to try this.

      Not a problem! Yeah I really like Dragonbane system overall! Easily one of my top 5 fantasy systems.

    That's brave to go for 2 hours of video! congrats. I found a lot of value in what you say in minutes 6-15 and 27-30 :) I think playing-reading-playing isn't a lot of fun, so pulling ideas from the published adventure into your Mythic lists is the way to go, but then, to also allow yourself from diverge from the adventure, otherwise, playing and then "catching up" with the adventure can become a bit of a chore! cheers! - And I hope you can take a look one day at the Plot Unfolding Machine for a comparison :)

      Haha yeah. I really don't plan on making long videos. But in this instance I felt the length of the video was really necessary.

      I will definitely take a read on the plot unfolding machine!

    Great video! A lot of information and good demo game. To be honest its look to be harder to play prepared scenario. I am waiting for part 4 :)

    • @CRP-Waltteri
      @CRP-Waltteri  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I don't know if it's harder to play prepared scenario, but it definitely takes more effort because of the material that has already been made, so the game flows much more slower pace.

      I'll have to look into that a little bit more but thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely check it out.

    Just started watching. My understanding is that a pre-written adventure is a set of expectations, which can change with Mythic, and one might also use Fate Qs to see what the character does, as opposed to fully controlling them. So the fun is observing how the adventure might change, and how the character might act.
    I’m looking forward to see how you suggest approaching this use of Mythic.

      @Waltteri-Haapaniemi-CRP You may want to label the free passes with a big "NOT FOR RESALE". I saw some scalpers on ebay trying to resell them. I was shocked and appalled.

      Haha yeah better make them as NFTs so they are completely unique and impossible to copy 😂😛

    I'm thinking of using Mythic to actually help with some new random events and other things as a GM it seems like a nice set of tools to use during prep at the least

    • @CRP-Waltteri
      @CRP-Waltteri  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mythic 100% works as a GM tool! I have used it with my tables with great success, like I can't imagine not using an oracle while I GM anymore.

    What is the white boarding tool you are using to layout all the diagrams?

    • @CRP-Waltteri
      @CRP-Waltteri  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's a free whiteboard app in browser called Miro.com

  • @mgakidd

    Hello. Where did you find all those downloadable forms?

    • @CRP-Waltteri
      @CRP-Waltteri  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! Actually, most of them are Screen captures from the book PDF. I am using a web whiteboard app called Miro, it is a really easy place to just drag and drop images and write on them!

    Too many tables! I typically don't need them, but they come in handy in case I run out of ideas

    • @CRP-Waltteri
      @CRP-Waltteri  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah sometimes if you get sidetracked by tables it can really mess one's flow

    Oh, your timing couldn’t be better for me. I’ve been thinking about doing exactly this, and having bouts of talking myself out of it. This is precisely the shot of information and confidence I’ve been needing!
    Thank your the pass. I will try to use it wisely. 🫡

      Perfect! I hope you find some value in the video!
      It's better to use the pass more lightly rather than to not use it at all. You can always come back and receive another one 👍
