I'm fairly certain the reason the teleporter still works over a chunk boarder is because of lazy chunks. Long story short, lazy chunks are the chunks right outside the loaded ones, where blocks can still do things, but entities can't. The ender pearl does only load one chunk, so if you try to load something like an sheep farm with it, you will need the sheep to be in the same chunk as the ender pearl, but the Redstone can be in the neighboring chunks.

Could you just keep an enderpearl in stasis under a farm as long as it was a one chunk farm?
@@raymondstheawesome I mean, no, but its infinitely easier to set up than a nether portal chunk loader. And much smaller footprint. If it breaks its much easier to fix.

(no hate to other youtubers) I love the videos and keep up the good work! Many thanks for the great content you create.
I'm not familiar with the crofters mechanics but if you can't just pull out items from it with a hopper unless it crafted something, you could probably set up a loop with items like raw materials that can be crafted into a block, which can also break down into its components. That way when the crafter gets the item, it send the redstone signals, which then ends up feeding back into the crafter to craft an item that gets picked up by a hopper feeding into another crafter, which crafts it into raw components that end up feeding back into the dropper. There's probably a much easier way to do this but that's a start I'd say
@@unmeclambda5837 couldnt you also just use a dropper instead of crafter with unstackables and have it drop the items back in when the machine activates?
You can pull items out of a crafter using a hopper, so in theory you could put the dropper on the side of the crafter instead of beneath it, then have some sort of circuit keeping the hopper locked until the enderporter is triggered.
That teleporter would be great for trial spawner farming too 😁 would it work in the end? There's no daylight cycle there right? So maybe a hopper clock or two chained together. Would be a good option.
It's not different than nether portal chunk loaders. It doesn't open up new possibilities, except for choosing exactly where in the end dimension you want to build it
@@raymondstheawesome An ender pearl chunk loader only requires a deep enough water column, a block of soul sand and an ender pearl. It's cheap, compact, more lag-efficient, and automatically disables/enables itself depending on whether or not the user is logged in.
@@discotechgaming still doesn't load a lot of things. Still doesn't do more than nether portal chunk loaders except that you can make them in the end dimension, but with the addition of end gateways chunk loaders, the only one advantage that an ender pearl chunk loader has js that you can make it anywhere in the end dimension
I know this is might be a far reach since the ender pearl is only attached to the player, but the only question I have right now is if we are able to be transported back in any entities that we are riding like boats or minecarts. If so, it could be a game changer for mob transportation like villagers, or even shulkers in the end to make shulker farms in the overworld if they are teleported along with us in the entity that we are currently riding at the time of teleportation. Still, this mechanic is so huge and vanilla minecraft has never felt so modern till date. Thanks for the (minecraft) life changing mechanism Pix! o7
No, entities don't teleport with you. Also, you could have always done chunk loading with nether portals. This new ender pearl change doesn't add anything new
In addition to the comment I've left elsewhere about it being possible to recall players between dimensions now, this is the first time we've been able to keep chunks loaded in the End, where nether portal chunk loaders aren't an option. So this absolutely adds something new
Could you also use chained Etho hopper clocks to make indefinitely long and precise custom delays while still being able to sleep without the risk of disrupting the clock? (since it doesn't depend on daylight)
I went caving with 2 bundles in late game using fortune 3, getting lots of resources and it was going wel storing string, gunpowder and other mob drops, but its annoying that music discs you find in dungeons cant be stored in the bundle, i know why it cant but it really should be able to fit.
Teleport computer! :D Would it work in the End in this form, though? There's no sun there, and iirc daylight detectors need to be able to see the light, not just the time?
Just gotta figure out another type of clock for that. Maybe a slow hopper clock that feeds single items into a chest, and you take the comparator signal off the chest instead of a second crafter? :)
@@Pixlriffsyeah - you did say in the video that you could build it on the main end island and set it to 9 days, so i think it might confuse a few people thinking that this exact circuit will work in the end
Would this still work with fishing rods? You fish an ender pearl, move to another slot, and when you want to return, you 'fish' the ender pearl, teleporting you back whenever you want
My curiosity has me thinking if you have it built next to a farm will a farm keep producing even if you're thousands of blocks away similar to like a village breeder set it up go to your stuff and when it finally teleports you back they should have a bunch of babies or even a cow farm or maybe something with redstone auto breaking blocks.
You could have already done this with a nether portal chunk loader for years. But depending on how the villager breeder or other farm works, a chunk loader may not make it work
If you're setting it up in the End, just use a different timer. Set up a slow redstone clock which adds items to a dropper, and use the dropper to generate a comparator signal. You can also use it to warp *back to the Overworld* from the End, just like I did with the Nether.
Does the sunlight detector work underground? Or does it need to be where it can see the sky… you mentioned having a teleported on and end island…but there no sun there or in the nether? Do you know if this works the same in bedrock?
Would you maybe be able to explain why your Redstone observer door 1 wide 3x3 design posted 8 years ago only opens up for a split second and hie to fix it if you can?
This is amazing! I have a few questions, please. 1) Does this work on Bedrock? 2) Does the ender pearl that you throw in the water still despawn after 5 minutes if the chunk is loaded? 3) Does it only teleport the person that throws it? If so, can more than one person throw one in the water for the same effect? Thank you Edit: 4) On Java, if you build one at spawn where the chunk is always loaded, will the ender pearl despawn after 5 minutes?
Since a minecraft day is 20 minutes, you can see that the ender Pearl doesn't despawn in 5 minutes or else this contraption wouldn't work. That's because it's not a dropped item but an entity kept in motion
@@unmeclambda5837 Thank you. I can see that it didn’t despawn but I wasn’t sure if it was because he left the area and the chunk unloaded. You answered the question of whether it will despawn if the chunk is loaded by explaining that the ender pearl is now an entity. So, does this mechanic apply to any item being suspended in a bubble column?
@@samuelzmommy He explained that ender pearls now keep the chunk loaded (but only when thrown, if you drop an ender pearl on the ground it won't keep the chunk loaded). Sorry if my initial comment came off wrong. This mechanic applies to any item that can be thrown in a bubble column yes,you can try to drop arrows or tridents in a bubble column and you'll take damage once you get in (or anything that you throw in there). It doesn't apply to dropped items though, these will despawn after 5 minutes of the chunk being loaded
I guess your opinion on the bundle really depends on how you like to play the game. For me personally, I like to play in a well developed world. Other than your village POI bag (which is an excellent idea) I don't see many other uses for a bundle beyond that. I honestly can't see a situation in which I would rather keep less than a stack of random items as opposed to throwing it out. Here's hoping an inventory management upgrade for that style of play is in the works!
I personally use a utility bundle like pix (craft table, ender chest, stone cutter) but also added another bundle, leads, pearls, name tags, anvil. Basically things that u normally need just for that one situation, but would be too annoying to get it from ender chest shulker. Try it out myb it will save u some space!
i mean inventory management for that style of play already exists: it's called a lava pit lol. you do you of course, but small amounts of random items build up over time! to me, it's worth keeping them around, even in a well-established world. (the potion kit is also a good one)
Never looked at stasis chambers like this but with the way you laid it out...in theory couldn't you ALSO set the time to midnight and then sleep sleep sleep until you're ready to go home? Better for places you have mini bases rather than exploration like tearing apart a mesa but you could literally collect resource until your inventory is full and just be sure to sleep on time. Or even building far away from your storage system. Just build build build and oops, out of material, let me just not sleep and be teleported back to grab more stuff. (I mean you're gonna have to make multiple trips for that kind of thing anyway but at least this way you get some stuff done in between trips and you cut out a one way slog.)
Using the redstone block isn't ideal. Dayligh sensors don't give a redstone level of 15 when it it is cloudy or raining, so it is possible the daylight sensor won't give a 15 signal some days. So some days the dropper may not get triggered. Which means the timer won't be accurate
If you are fighting the dragon for the first time, you can set this up in the Overworld, and if things go south, you can bridge out away from the main island in the End and just wait, potentially salvaging your Hardcore world!
@raymondstheawesome It wasn't possible for Ender Pearls to warp players between dimensions until 1.21. Prior to 1.21, if you aren't in the same dimension as the pearl, it does nothing when forced to land by a circuit like this one.
How do you reset the teleporter? Im guessing you have to manually put the items back in to the dropper... And dose is have to be a dropper or could you use a dispenser?... Sorry im a redstone noob 😅
Hey, I'm doing a modded flat survival with ocean preset, and I was wondering if you know how to get passive mob spawn ? Because you made a video on a sky block which explain how you got animal, but in my case, there's an entire ocean filled with Cods, Squids/Glow Squids and some modded mobs like Jellyfishes. Btw it's version 1.19.2
Yes, but it'd be less precise. Eyeblossoms don't open and close at the same exact time each day - although they become more accurate when there's a large group of them, because when one opens it tells the others to open too.
with the ender pearl loading chunks, could you technically have a array of furnace's & crops also growing & smelting items while you were also gone since the chunks stay loaded?
Furnaces would work, crops wouldn't. Crop growth relies on random ticks, which only happen when a player is nearby. Same goes for stuff like amethyst buds growing, copper aging, cauldrons filling with lava. Furnaces, sorting systems, and redstone devices that don't rely on mob spawning are all good candidates for chunk loading.
Could you also use the ender pearl in a bubble column to keep an iron farm loaded permanently outside of the spawn chunk ? Or for any other device that requires a loaded chunk but no player presence ?
After testing an ender pearl stasis chamber chunk loader (cooler name required) I found it works differently than the 3x3 spawn chunks. EPSCCLs didn't load iron farms, chickens won't lay eggs, armadillos don't shed scutes and Sniffers don't sploot. Is it just redstone that stays loaded? Will crops grow? X
daft question but did you update your game lol. i can't test the iron farm because my main save isn't updated yet but mob behaviour is working just fine- A half hour test with just allays gathering (and holding onto, i didn't bother setting up noise machines and hoppers) from 3 sniffers, 1 armadillo, an 1 chicken yielded 5 pitcher pods, 4 torchflowers, 5 scutes, and 6 eggs. a single beehive also filled completely.
Doesn't it make more sense to put the condensed ore blocks into the bundle since they take up less space in it? And the items you pick up are not condensed, so if you keep the condensed blocks outside of the bundle instead, you are having to constantly put them back in the bundle and they take up more space because they don't stack
They don’t take up less space once you go above 8 blocks of each type, which is very easy to do with basically every resource except diamonds and gold. I mined on stream for an hour today and came back with three stacks of raw copper blocks alone
I am a bit confused about the ender porter system, do you have an automated way of emptying the counter crafter inside the system after a use? What is stopping it from loading up that counter crafter every day it is not in use?
With this design, you manually reset the counter every time you want to use it. It'll only affect the player if there's an ender pearl thrown into the bubble column, so it's harmless to let it count items in the meantime - and most nights it won't even count an item because I sleep as soon as it gets dark, and the daylight detector doesn't hit 0 signal output until a minute or two after night falls.
@@Pixlriffs Ahhh I see now, thank you. I think my biggest confusion came from you not resetting it after returning from your caving trip and I just assumed that it could be used again right away.
With the bundle update in Bedrock I decided to turn on cheats for the keep inventory cheat only. Losing my inventory when I am exploring new areas just doesn't allow me to enjoy game play like I want to
wait wait, i just realized, if the enderpearl stasis chamber can work as a chunk loader we dont need more of that nonsense of chunk loaders made of nether portals then, its great for farms i presume. i wonder if that works on minecraft bedrock as well, i might give it a try on my own world
I remember reading that it only works while you're logged in, which may be fine, but it's not the same as a chunk loader on a server that keeps the chunks loaded regardless of who is logged in
@@beck2424 yeah, I heard that. for me it would be fine cause I play on single player most of the time. I play on my phone so afk-ing is annoying, if that works I could keep some farms working while I go around the world doing other things. even if it's a bit manual and wont work for everything, its a nice mechanic, worth trying I think.
@@G-xi6ib you could build the same teleporter circuit and just change how the timer works. Have a hopper clock slowly add items to a dropper, and use that to create the comparator signal instead of filling up a crafter. You can still use the crafter as the interface.

I know I could look up other videos but the way that you explain the game is significantly better than a handful of other creators. (no hate to other youtubers) I love the videos and keep up the good work! Many thanks for the great content you create.
3 stacks of bundles is great in the early game that one bundle holding 16 other bundles
There's a setup using frost walker shenanigans to detect when you relog into the world twice in short succession, so you can teleport at will!
Love the mechanic here. There's _got_ to be a way to move the timer items from the crafter back into the dropper without having to do it manually.
@@hhff8534You'd want to look up the Redstone output of the dropper, I don't think it's a clean 1-9 like the Crafter.
Yeah, they output 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, which would not align with the output from the crafter.
You can pull items out of a crafter using a hopper, so in theory you could put the dropper on the side of the crafter instead of beneath it, then have some sort of circuit keeping the hopper locked until the enderporter is triggered.
Yeah I must’ve missed when you built the teleporter. Was it on a livestream?
Was wondering the same thing. I’m completely lost
Its at the end of the viideo.
@@GSFBlade Yeah but when he built the original one he shows at the beginning. It seemingly just came from nowhere lol.
I built it off-camera, with the intent of it being a mystery until I explained how it worked later in the episode. :)
@@Pixlriffs Aha!! I didn’t miss anything!! Thanks as always for the great content, Pix!! Here’s to shooting for the 1M sub special!!
That teleporter would be great for trial spawner farming too 😁 would it work in the end? There's no daylight cycle there right? So maybe a hopper clock or two chained together. Would be a good option.
awesome series, my son says he loves watching minecraft butit has to be “minecrift” a.k.a pixlriffs - love the videos keep them coming ❤
Ender pearls keeping chunks loaded will be great for automated farms too.
@@discotechgaming still doesn't contradict anything that I said
@@raymondstheawesome All those advantages and you still think it's "not different than nether portal chunk loaders"? Well if you say so...
So this absolutely adds something new
Yes, enderpearls apparently load a 3x3 area for entity processing, a 5x5 area for redstone processing and 7x7 for lazy chunks if I am not wrong.
awesome, thanks
Could you also use chained Etho hopper clocks to make indefinitely long and precise custom delays while still being able to sleep without the risk of disrupting the clock? (since it doesn't depend on daylight)
I went caving with 2 bundles in late game using fortune 3, getting lots of resources and it was going wel storing string, gunpowder and other mob drops, but its annoying that music discs you find in dungeons cant be stored in the bundle, i know why it cant but it really should be able to fit.
Yay another episode
Teleport computer! :D
Would it work in the End in this form, though?
Nice!
That will be useful for my PVP
My curiosity has me thinking if you have it built next to a farm will a farm keep producing even if you're thousands of blocks away similar to like a village breeder set it up go to your stuff and when it finally teleports you back they should have a bunch of babies or even a cow farm or maybe something with redstone auto breaking blocks.
You could have already done this with a nether portal chunk loader for years. But depending on how the villager breeder or other farm works, a chunk loader may not make it work
I may have missed couple of episodes. Cuz I remember last time you were just starting with building the wind city.
Yes ur back!!
27:00 how would this work in the end where there is no day/night cycles?
If you're setting it up in the End, just use a different timer. Set up a slow redstone clock which adds items to a dropper, and use the dropper to generate a comparator signal.
You can also use it to warp *back to the Overworld* from the End, just like I did with the Nether.
Does the sunlight detector work underground? Or does it need to be where it can see the sky… you mentioned having a teleported on and end island…but there no sun there or in the nether? Do you know if this works the same in bedrock?
This doesn't work on bedrock because ender pearls don't load chunks, and I expect this to never get added
Pix! Let’s go!
would the day light detector work in the end?
26:39 did I see that right?!! You see the nether portal thing when teleporting between nether and overworld?
Would you maybe be able to explain why your Redstone observer door 1 wide 3x3 design posted 8 years ago only opens up for a split second and hie to fix it if you can?
This is amazing! I have a few questions, please. 1) Does this work on Bedrock? 2) Does the ender pearl that you throw in the water still despawn after 5 minutes if the chunk is loaded? 3) Does it only teleport the person that throws it? If so, can more than one person throw one in the water for the same effect? Thank you
Edit: 4) On Java, if you build one at spawn where the chunk is always loaded, will the ender pearl despawn after 5 minutes?
This doesn't work on bedrock because it wasn't added, and I fully expect this to never get added to bedrock
Does the day/night cycle affect daylight sensors in the end? Or would a different clock mechanism be needed?
A fun challenge is "no mining" Minecraft. It is basically you can not mine some type of stone like flat, deep, and sand stone.
I thought that was just "Craft".
@@mehulpandya4761 I do not have a better name. It is fun and just getting a furnace and stone pick takes some effort.
So will your crops still grow if the ender pearl has the chunk loaded?
27:08 Do daylight sensors work in the End?
No, but there are plenty of other slow clocks and counters which would!
(I mean you're gonna have to make multiple trips for that kind of thing anyway but at least this way you get some stuff done in between trips and you cut out a one way slog.)
maby a night time for home and set a day time where u build before u go ?!?
What PC do you use Pixlriff?
Do you or anyone know if that Ender Pearl update for keeping chunks loaded also works on Bedrock?
Using the redstone block isn't ideal. Dayligh sensors don't give a redstone level of 15 when it it is cloudy or raining, so it is possible the daylight sensor won't give a 15 signal some days. So some days the dropper may not get triggered. Which means the timer won't be accurate
If you are fighting the dragon for the first time, you can set this up in the Overworld, and if things go south, you can bridge out away from the main island in the End and just wait, potentially salvaging your Hardcore world!
You could have already done that by chunk loading with a nether portal chunk loader for years
@raymondstheawesome It wasn't possible for Ender Pearls to warp players between dimensions until 1.21.
Unfortunately passive mobs (like cows, sheep, chickens etc) do not spawn in ocean biomes.
Would this work with an eyeflower next to an observer, thus removing the need for access to direct sunlight?
Yes, but it'd be less precise. Eyeblossoms don't open and close at the same exact time each day - although they become more accurate when there's a large group of them, because when one opens it tells the others to open too.
Do you know if this transporter holds in Bedrock or will it only work in Java edition?
with the ender pearl loading chunks, could you technically have a array of furnace's & crops also growing & smelting items while you were also gone since the chunks stay loaded?
Furnaces would work, crops wouldn't. Crop growth relies on random ticks, which only happen when a player is nearby. Same goes for stuff like amethyst buds growing, copper aging, cauldrons filling with lava.
Furnaces, sorting systems, and redstone devices that don't rely on mob spawning are all good candidates for chunk loading.
@@Pixlriffs thank you !
Could you also use the ender pearl in a bubble column to keep an iron farm loaded permanently outside of the spawn chunk ? Or for any other device that requires a loaded chunk but no player presence ?
You could have already done that with a nether portal chunk loader for years
After testing an ender pearl stasis chamber chunk loader (cooler name required) I found it works differently than the 3x3 spawn chunks.
@@emryspaperart I wouldn't put it passed me to miss something obvious like that but yes, on the latest version. Will test again. Thanks for your help
Dose that mean l can use a ender pearl to keep my farm going wen a am doing other things coz it will keep it loaded in
Pix what are the coordinates of your base?
THE DREAM KILLER = PIXLRIFF
having trouble in bedrock with this set up, any ideas?
With the bundle update in Bedrock I decided to turn on cheats for the keep inventory cheat only. Losing my inventory when I am exploring new areas just doesn't allow me to enjoy game play like I want to
When will be the next stream of fantacy
Genius
wait wait, i just realized, if the enderpearl stasis chamber can work as a chunk loader we dont need more of that nonsense of chunk loaders made of nether portals then, its great for farms i presume. i wonder if that works on minecraft bedrock as well, i might give it a try on my own world
I remember reading that it only works while you're logged in, which may be fine, but it's not the same as a chunk loader on a server that keeps the chunks loaded regardless of who is logged in
@@beck2424 yeah, I heard that. for me it would be fine cause I play on single player most of the time. I play on my phone so afk-ing is annoying, if that works I could keep some farms working while I go around the world doing other things. even if it's a bit manual and wont work for everything, its a nice mechanic, worth trying I think.
Not only that, you could set up a similar comparator/trapdoor setup to warp you to the farm when the output chest fills up!
@@Pixlriffs Shoot you're right, i could make a whole operation out of this that's genius.
does tnt interact with ender pearls? could you launch a suspended pearl in water with tnt?
You can. With lazy loading shenanigans you can even launch a pearl a very long way.
That is called an ender pearl cannon and they have existed for years
Does the Teleporter work on Bedrock?
Does anyone know what the outro song is?

The ender pearl disappears when the player logs off, but it comes back when the player logs back on

Daylight sensors work in end. It doesnt cycle day night?? Im confused. I know it works in overworld but.. help PIX.
@@G-xi6ib you could build the same teleporter circuit and just change how the timer works. Have a hopper clock slowly add items to a dropper, and use that to create the comparator signal instead of filling up a crafter. You can still use the crafter as the interface.

Ender pearl teleports me when I try to go through the nether portal, what am I doing wrong?
Ender pearl chunk loader?
As of 1.21, ender pearls now load a small range of chunks around itself on java edition
@raymondstheawesome do the new mechanics allow this to be used as a chunk loader? Say I built an iron farm away from spawn? Put this stasis chamber setup in the chunk and it will be permanently loaded? Or does the eye despawn eventually?
@@cianwalshe4747 the pearl was never able to despawn even from years ago. Even before the new update, you could have always used a nether portal chunk loader to keep an iron farm loaded
@@raymondstheawesome but you said "as of 1.21 ender pearl now loads chunks..." so what did change in 1.21?
@@cianwalshe4747 as far as chunk loading is concerned, the only thing that 1.21 changed was that ender pearls, end portal, and end gateways now load chunks. In it only the ender pearl is relevant here
