Thank you for this concise information. I'm getting the EPC light more frequently now (Aug 2024) In fact today, just now, my EPC came on and then I got new messages like "Max RPM 4000!", mean while I'm in Southern California driving at 35 mph. I also got only moments later the temperature gauge on my car went up to almost 280 degrees I knew there was nothing wrong, but needless to say, as a precautionary move, I shut it off before it redlined. Then simply waiting 30-45 seconds and starting the car and all the problems go away... temperature is back to normal readings, the EPC light is off etc.
I'm getting tired of it so I'm going to hopefully get a mechanic to look at this because I'm tired of it. I'm tired of all the false flags. Thank you for this video.

Thank you for sharing. I've VW Vento highline 1.2 TSI DSG 2016 model. I've replaced all spark plugs, ignition coils, idle pump, checked engine mounts at authorized VW service station. However, car still vibrates while idling and extreme vibrations while idling when AC is turned on, then check engine light, EPC light and stability control lights comes up. I literally have to turn the car off amd on to avoid that. I've spent a good amount of money but the issue remains the same. Any honest suggestions are welcomed.

Hey Harshvaidhye, Sorry to hear that, here is what I think: from the symptoms you described, it seems like it could be linked to the following:
      1. Throttle Body or MAF Sensor: Issues with the throttle body or the mass airflow sensor (MAF) could cause erratic idling and trigger warning lights. You might want to check if these components have been cleaned or inspected.
      2. Alternator or Battery: Weak charging systems can cause electrical gremlins when extra load (like the A/C) is applied. Check your alternator and battery health, as a weak alternator can cause sensor malfunctions and vibrations due to inconsistent power delivery
Also it is worth mentioning checking your VVT solenoid (also known as valve cam adjuster)
Hope this was helpful!! let me know how it goes

It also caused by brake lights not working due to globes damaged or brake switch not functioning.
