gan should do other cubes than 3x3. they made the best mirror cube, the best skewb, very good megaminx and 2x2, (they kinda failed pyra and 4x4) but i would like to see a gan square-1, clock, 5x5, mastermorphix, ghost cube, 3x3x5, master pyraminx, redi cube, FTO and many other !
Their Pyraminx is my main since after adding some max command to it, it becomes nice fore at least my turning style. That’s just me.

Man we’re already on the Gan 14?? When I was in Grade 5, I got the newest Gan at the time which was the Gan 11 M Pro. Still serves me well on the occasions when I wanna practice.
When I was still in high school their flagship was the original 356 air m and the record was still Felik's 4.73
I've tried a gan 365 back when I was newer still, it was good because I didnt know any better, then I got a problem with it always loosening (I spilt coke or something on it it was my fault) and I switched to valk, I liked the Valk elite M which was my first magnetic cube but I never adjusted anything and didnt really understand all the adjustments, now I'm using the x-man tornado v2m and really loving it, it's not quite as snappy as day 1 sadly but it still does great for me, when I need an upgrade I might go for the v3m or I may change off of x-man completely

While I can certainly see this lasting longer in terms of overall object lifespan compared to using springs, I do wonder how often anyone ever has to replace a spring that wore out as opposed to any other part breaking. As for the price, I can imagine that the magnets make it harder to both manufacture and put together, so that may be a consideration in the pricing and why it costs $88, but I certainly would never pay that. My most expensive 3D puzzle was around $15 and I can't imagine paying more than $20 for any.

Kind of, 10 dollar cubes are considered “budget” cubes and may feel cheap. There are many reasons why GAN is charging so much: they have amazing attention to detail and user experience, they’re the most famous speedcube company, and well, profit. I don’t think all these features (1296 settings, maglev, core magnets, adjustable everything) is worth 88 dollars, I personally think that it’s worth about $50-60.
Going back to the budget cube stuff, most budget cubes have magnets and a dual-adjustment system. They’re missing maglev and core magnets, but if you want these features you should get a flagship cube or some REALLY good budget cubes (RS3M V5 BC UV). Even then, features such as repelling edge magnets and adjustable magnets are not present on some flagships.
The best budget cubes are extremely cheap, and can stack up to the best of the best (to some degree). They may not have THE BEST performance, nor will they feel as refined like a flagship, but they certainly are usable for every level of cubing.
For example, the standard RS3M 2020 with just regular magnets and a dual-adjustment system is a mainworthy cube for just $9. On the other side of the spectrum, there will be people who main the GAN 14 M Maglev UV or the Super Weilong (~$90) that have a higher budget, and will receive a puzzle with more sophisticated features and a much better experience.
@@jamosai5121 Well, I wouldn't even pay more than $30 for a puzzle, so if a $10 cube is better than a non-magnetic one I'd certainly give it a shot. As long as it is as high of quality as the non-magnetic one it would be worth it.
maglev is more for changing the elasticity of the cube since repelling magnets have different forces based on distance compared to springs. everything else like being slightly less friction is minimal.
I feel like upgrading. I've been using the GAN 11 M Pro since release and have loved it. I feel like it's time to upgrade though.

I’m still on the fence about the 14 I use the 13 and from what I’ve been hearing it’s not worth the upgrade but I’m curious about it, that’s how I got the 13

6:56 Funny, with my settings, my MoYus all tend to be very fickle, I just have to be in a flow and continue the turn while it's caught and the thing explodes. Hell, some even fell apart when just sitting in my pocket on account of persons bumping into me and whatnot.

Hi, I am a cuber who wants to buy a first GAN 3x3. Do you think that GAN 12 Maglev or GAN 14 Maglev is better? Because I can't choose.
The 12 is the best Gan cube.

I own gan 14 my settings are 2 on small gear ,5 on big gear and all magnets are maxed at first I thought it's uncontrollable but after tried solving many days on it it's getting even better now itss soo like a tv3 flagship I own tv3 flagship and pioneer tooo I always prefer flagship because it's so controllable and now I feel my gan 14 is like a flagship tv3 its soo better than before I main gan 14 now it's really worth it

Exactly! Couldn’t agree more. They are packing them overly fancy and people are paying more for ridiculous packing when moyu is equally as good, if not then better, than gan

Bro I still use a Valk3....non-magnetic...magnets didnt exist back then. We still had a WR of 5 seconds and things didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Gan is the Apple of cubing, except instead of limiting options so the great user experience is the focus, they’re becoming a postmodern mess of infinite user customisation. It makes the cubes undefinable and without any character that sets it apart other than the initial USP that fails to really deliver anyway. When products enter this stage they rarely last long in the marketplace. RIP Gan.

@@clammyK I have a friend that has the gan 14 and it pops up whenever he tries to be aggressive (yes even in tight settings sometimes) also, go ahead and watch thecubicle's review of the gan 14. Gan 12 is a lot more stable and easier to setup, I have it as my main.
