Very nice. I hope more designs come up with a way lock the battery on the bike and remove it easily like most ebikes batteries on the market.

Very interesting and informative video, thank you. I'm a 72 year old broken down worn out old man but like these type of videos. I watched one on 3 wheel electric bikes and if I can get into better condition I'd buy one!! Thank you again for the video. Subscribed!!

This blew my mind, so compact 52v , 20Ah. Why was your video not easy to see on TH-cam because I have searched many times on building of triangle battery for my ebike conversion. Am glad I found this. Thanks a lot

Okay, I'm putting all my faith into this comment.🤞
Hey guys! I truly appreciate the content you've been putting out here on TH-cam. It has helped me a lot. I actually learned to 3D CAD battery cases from your videos about Onshape, so a huge, huge thanks!
I'm Solomon from Rwanda, and I have an e-bike project currently ongoing. Rwanda is known as the country of a thousand hills, and my love for cycling has quite literally been weighed down by gravity. So, I've ventured into building e-bikes with the goal of providing affordable electric bikes not just for myself but also for others who need them.
E-bikes here typically cost over $1,000, which is almost 1.5 million Rwandan francs - far above what most people can afford. My goal is to produce a mid-drive e-bike that costs no more than $250 (without the battery). I'm also working on affordable batteries, not just for the bikes I will be building but also for other e-bike builders looking to convert their bikes.
So far, I've designed a frame in CAD (Onshape), and I've had the prototype mid-drive frame welded from steel. It's very robust, and I've been testing it since May 2024, with the motor, controller, and a battery mounted on it. It works great, except for the battery.
I'd be happy to share more details, and I hope this piques your interest enough to warrant a full story. I'd love to share my unique experience of what building e-bikes in Africa looks like for the average person.
As for your 4k subscriber mark, I reckon you'll hit your target in less than five days. If I'm right, please do me a favor: pick my comment and support my work here in Rwanda. You'll not only be helping me, but you'll also be impacting thousands of lives in the long run. (That being said, I'm not exactly sure what I need more from you guys - your advice and mentorship, or perhaps some 2170 battery cells for power/performance benchmarking.)
Thanks for considering my request, regardless!😁😇😊

    Hey man,
I stumbled across your channel while trying to learn a thing or two about batteries for a problem I have, and I was hoping maybe you or one of your knowledgeable viewers could help me out. (Please excuse me if my English isn't perfect.)
I have a Shark Wandvac 2.0 vacuum cleaner without a battery. It originally comes with a 14.4-volt Li-Ion battery, but sadly, where I'm from, you can't buy any replacement batteries for it.
The vacuum only has two connectors for the battery, so I asked myself if it would be possible to get a simple 4S1P 14.4V battery pack and connect it to the vacuum cleaner. However, none of the batteries I could find have a BMS built in (apparently, these things are quite necessary to prevent issues like blowing up, so I thought it would be better to have one of those).
Now my question is: Is it possible to get one of those battery packs and just solder it to the vacuum, and I'll be good to go? Or do I have to fear my vacuum blowing up on me while using or charging it? I sadly don’t know if the original battery has a BMS (is that even possible with only two connectors?). If not, I'd guess that the necessary protection circuits are built into the vacuum itself and the charger?
I hope what I typed out is somewhat comprehensible, and I would be really thankful for a response.
Thank you so much in advance!

I'm in the UK - I was wondering if you sell those nickel strips plates as I've been thinking about building a 72v 40-60 ah 5000w battery pack with a 150 bms. My aim is to build something over time that might be capable of 170 miles of range which is the total miles from my partner of London to Brighton on sea a seaside town in west Sussex here in the UK. Also would it be possible for you to print me a battery case if I sent you a template
If so how much in pounds sterling would it cost thank you for putting this video up it has helped me with my confidence in possibly building my first battery 😊
