Thanks for the review Matt. I bought some second-hand Trams recently as a budget upgrade to the ME 2s that came with my G3s and am pleased with them. They are easy to hide with undercovers and sound good. They seem to blend well with the boom on scenes. Apparently the best way to mount them is facing them inwards towards the body, it gives a little bit more clarity. I'm not sure if you have heard something similar? Since buying these I bit the bullet and bought a Sanken Cos 11 and I have to say I still like the way the Trams sound.

Thank you gentleman, the lav looked really familiar. I remembered using it on my 2nd feature film "Imago". I was the boom operator on that shoot, the soundmixer at the time had it in his arsenal. Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as @imagothemovie.

In German TV productions the Trams are still very popular and have been standard for over a decade. But its glory is fading with all the competing lavs nowadays like Sennheiser, Sanken or DPAs. Matt can you confirm the CIA origin of the TRAMS aka the guy who used to built them?
