In Antutu website it’s clearly written not to compare iPhone and Android scores as they’re both tested in different parameters
Same thing is applicable for other methods like geek bench, get Antutu is a better option as it also takes into account the GPU and AI performance, thus giving a comprehensive measurement overall
@@metaversewr8827 they say that in antutu benchmark the snapdragon beats the a17pro but when in geekbench the apple beats the snapdragon so a 17 is powerfull wtf call it a tie madarchod apple ki gand ghaste rehte
@@metaversewr8827wtf? CPU parameters won’t differ in any way. GPU (in Geekbench and Antutu [which gives cpu+gpu results]) are different for both because you can’t compare Metal scores to Vulcan scores. As simple as that, Android heads can’t get it.
Geekbench Compute mode is not cross platform comparable either.
@@raed.gilani I'm never said geek bench was comparable either, I said if u want an overall idea, Antutu tells more
so are you saying metal API sucks?

It's not insane. On highest settings it takes 5w - 6w consumption and even gen2 can handle that without any issues.
Waiting for 8 gen 4, so that we get to know about the underwhelming aspects of 8 gen 3
Exactly. Everyone praised 8g2 now it became mediocre. Yeah IT IS what it is when compared to 8g3. Still it doesn't deserve that much.
really, i was surprised when he said that performance gain with 8gen2 was very low. This was the processor which was competing with Apple chips and everyone was saying that it is kind of hitting the ceiling for performance.
8gen4 is said to made by Samsung because apparently tcmc is charging a lot of money from qualcomm

I think what's happening with 8 gen 3 is that the chip is soo powerful that it's not even sweating despite throwing big apps on it like games i think we're in a situation where the hardware is too powerful for the software which is good but you're not actually using the full potential of the processor
Apps have always not been optimized to the max for a long time but with AI improving, optimizing apps is gonna be so easy and you can optimize for each specific CPU not just each Architecture. So things will improve.
That happened with the M1 when released
Well Asus latest released Phone has a whooping up to 165hz and between 16-24gb memory... I think if we will see a stress test on this 8 gen 3, it will be from that Asus Pro phone 😂😂

Sorry to break it for you, Baseline and + models will be equipped with exy2400 some regions(except usa I think) . Ultra will be 8g3 powered, i mean OBVIOUSLY.
Exynos will be for fe series in india. S series will get snapdragon, with rarely any discount in sales.

And moreover Samsung already said that they're gonna use new node technology to build these new exynos chips , so we can expect something better from Exynos.

There is chinese channel,sreach @geekerwan1024
true, dimensity 9300 is amazing. I wish more people would pay attention to it
Give me proof..
Recently x100/pro in cpu throttling test throttled down to 46% source- "GSM Arena", 9300 performed exceptionally well in prototype version but real life scenario is different from prototype
Except For Quality of life
8Gen3's GPU is arguably more useful even if it has lower peak performance just because of it's support regarding driver updates and GL tools
Not to mention Emulation
Can't wait for Dimensity 9300 vs. Snapdragon 8 gen 3
Next year Qualcomm's going to announce their 8 gen 4 built on custom Oryon cores for the first time and their claims on performance gains are pretty big over already phenomenal 8 gen 3, hopefully a strong contender to apple's bionic chip in single core performance too.
we all know how pwful the chipset is every year . but the heating 🙈
what are the pros and CONS of an android os which is not dependent on google android services? Like the hyperOS. Should we upgrade to it? Or stay on the current android 13 based miui 14? You know, for the obvious safety reasons. Your thoughts on this?
HyperOS uses google services
@@iceynuel9066yeah, in India, it does. But what about the kernel, they have made some major changes to it as well.
8 Gen 2 was very very efficient. It handles all the games with great battery life
Agree
there is no difference between gen 2 and gen 3 in single core performance so everything is the same

A lot of mixed feelings about the latest snapdragon flagship processors
Warning : This is not the correct time to check performance. Winter is here and ambient temperature is below 20 degrees. Real test will be in summers. And I have seen same issue with SD8G1 and 8G2. Winter time they perform great with great battery life but in lil summer they heat like anything.
Nice content... Snapdragon last gens processor troubles a lot...
Hi Beebom, could you please share the model and details of the miniature truck you shot in phone background.
The SD 8 gen 3 in the new Oneplus 12 suffers from massive throttling.

google tensor and exynos 🤣🤣
Could you compare it with the A17 chipset under the same conditions (room temperature, battery life, games played etc)
there's no point in doing that as the Antutu website itself says not to compare android and iphone results as they use different parameters for both to calculate the results. its just to give a mere idea
@@farzanalam4090GPU wise snapdragon is far more powerful

The 8 gen 2 is phenomenal.
I have the tab s9+ which has the 8 gen 2 for galaxy and can agree
Dimensity 8300 would be chipset to look out for next year, it is optimally fast but super efficient
It is not efficient in fact vivo 100 with dimensity 9300 was said to throttle a lot and performance dropped by 50 percent now that's insane
Mediatek is not to be trusted on heating issue..
@@eldibirting3648you don't understand mediatek naming system. Anything named 8100 or above has generally good performance and low throttling and low heating and also well optimised. But the recent 9300 has heating issues bcoz mediatek used all performance core in it and no efficiency cores.

He was probably talking about Tensor, not exynos
@@singhmpThanks for pointing out. I was thinking about Exynos 990 when I wrote that comment. It applies more to Tensor chips. But Sammy is also struggling to make Exynos chips which are as good as Snapdragon but failing to do so. Atleast they are using Snapdragon in "certain markets".
2:57 A gun?
let the other flagship phone companies get hands on these chips they will surely optimize it make that geekbench score bump
Where did you get Fluke Thermometer ? Better do a review on that !
Still skeptical about the power drain. Golden reviewer from Gizmochina presented tests that 8Gen3 power consumption increased up to 28% from 8Gen2.
Expected more from it
Do you think it is wise decision to Samsung galaxy s20 Fe now at 27k?
Trying to overheat in winter season try in May-August and then see it yourself
BEEBOM STUDIO TOUR ❤❤
the max GIPS in the cpu throttling test was less than snapdragon 8+ gen 1... simple reason for less heating and throttling
tnx for the short video
the heating issue is soo high in the new redmagic 9pro with sd 8 gen 3 its going 50-55° c.. its freaking hot
Hope 8gen 3 will be good🎉
It's bad that highest end fab process is not available to everyone..need more fabs asap from samsung and Intel especially
Samsung for some reason sucks compared to TSMC. When Qualcom made the switch from Samsung(8 gen 1) to TSMC (8 gen 1 +) the performance improvement was 10% while power efficiency was 30%.
2:56 "Check the TEMPERATURE'S PHONE" XD
There is FPS drop for Asphalt 9 in Mi14. No setting to change 60fps or 120fps.
1:13 Geekbench score is based on CPU workload. And the work that these two apps put might be completely different. Antutu shows aggregated score while geekbench shows individual scores. And seeing GPU Snapdragon should be faster but as always android optimization sucks.
Remember. Always buy an SoC which comes after heating and throttling variant. Like 8gen2...
8 Gen 2 have a throttling problem? 😅 Only 8 Gen 1 has that problem.

@beebom Please clarify which score do we consider geekbench or antutu. As both has a complete different story
Antutu scores are higher cause GPU is better on snapdragon , geekbench higher on iphone cause CPU is better there , for intensive task and gaming you need GPU , not cpu which is good enough in snapdragon , so sd 8th gen 3 ftw
I'm waiting for Xiaomi to launch a mobile with usb 3.0 atleast in flagship series
Can't believe we are close to hitting 2 million on Bench Mark score i still remember when 500k was a high score
These games that you testes do not test the capabilities of the flagship chipsets, try something demanding like Yuzu emulator/citra emulator/psvita emulator or aethersx2 in 4x that is how you'll get to know how much power it has

Do some emulation tests if you want to push your phone to the limit. Nowadays, you can even emulate switch games on mobile. Try to emulate those in all of these processors then we are talking.

That single core score makes it look like 4 generations behind.
No Exynos and Tensor was harmed in this video - 3:40 😂
