A point BlindWave with Thrawn's troopers is that they might be reanimated troopers. When Enoch talks, it sounds different from a normal trooper would sound. So maybe the red wrappings would keep the magic working on them.
"magick" is kind of a more archaic spelling of "magic", there's actually some distinction between the two in the past where magick was more of actual sorcery while magic was more associated with stage illusion performances
15:20 I don't necessary feel Nightsisters were sensing Sabine at the superficial, face value, but the embodiment of a long line of masters, a lineage that begun with the powerful Master Yoda. As Ahsoka had said in previous episodes, in more ways than teachings, masters reside in their padawans. Perhaps that's why the witches used the term "it" being dangerous instead of she. To denote the potential presence of the collective forces of all the previous masters that permeate Sabine.
One of my favorite things about Filoni is his ability to weave a lot of seemingly unconnected threads from different sources into the main Star Wars tapestry. It makes things exciting and new in a way we need sometimes. Can't wait for what's next!
25:34 The text on the entrance to the castle was actually translated. It is in fact ur-Kittat (Sith Runes) and can be translated to "(P)RAISE KUJET RULER OF ALL MAY HIS REIGN LAST FOR AL..." Kujet is a Zeffo Sage from Jedi: Fallen Order who had his tomb on Dathomir, and this text can be seen on said tomb as well. This means that the Zeffo could be tied into this, and their relationship with the nightsisters. The old power on Peridiea could even be Zeffo in origin, as we know they fled to the Great Beyond which could be this new galaxy.
I'm really surprised that New Rockstars missed the connection between Thrawn asking for their magick again and Thrawn's troops being called Night Troopers.
I don’t think they necessarily missed it because I don’t think it was super straightforward they probably didn’t feel like they needed to discuss that. I’d be curious though.
25:19 In this melee, the fact Sabine deflected lasers shot at her, does that subtly imply she has force abilities to anticipate the shooters since only Jedi could theoretically deflect laser weapons with light sabers?
She did, though the blasts she deflected were very close range and she basically just held the saber between the gun and herself, a non force sensitive saber user could possibly do that as well, considering she and other mandolorians have been shown deflecting blasters with their little wrist shield generators without any implication they are force sensitive.
@@jamesmorales4735 I agree with that, but 4-6 have all been good in their own way. First three weren't bad per se, but it's just been getting better and better.
This episode really had me going over the question about Dathomiri sexual dymorphism. My theory is now that the Witches migrated between galaxies in ancient times and basically coquered Dathomir's native Zabrak population, and Witch characteristics are bound to female chromosomes, so girls are ash-grey and hornless, while males are full Zabrak.
Zabrak are originally from the planet Iridonia and both female and male zabrak have cranial horns, the Dathomiri are said to be a mixed breed of human and zabrak and so the presence or absence of horns is really just chance.
I don't think this is the same pod of Purrgil which Grogu saw. Ahsoka's purrgil are at inter-galactic hyperspeed, it's impossible for Mando's N1 starfighter to be keeping pace. Only way this is possible is for this pod of whales to be travelling slower before they exited the galaxy, in which case it would mean Grogu saw them before this scene, as by this point they've to be at intergalactic speeds already.
On the things in the Baylan part - One, between him saying this galaxy is folk tales and the way Huyang says "A long time ago, far, far away..." it really feels like that is a Jedi version of "Once upon a time". Two, I still think Baylan is after Ezra because he thinks he can use the World Between Worlds. That could be the "Beginning" he is interested in, and why he wants to use Sabine to find Ezra.
“The nightsisters are riding everything”
Cal: 😅
Really digging how the lore's expanding with recent Star Wars media. Jedi Survivor is another example of this.

Claudia Black also voiced Morrigan in the Dragon Age games - a witch, and daughter of the legendary Witch Flemeth.

Personally, I feel that the stories Huyang told at the temple were the same ones mentioned by Baylan Skoll.

she has mando armour what reflects blaster shots AND stops sabers too, beskar hard AF

The episode was so dope.
Not as dope as episode 5!! Yeee haaaaa

I think the power Baylen is looking for is the 4th mortis god The mother of Chaos
Give us ABELOTH! YESS! I'd die of happiness

How did the first Jedi measure/count the years? I highly doubt they were like "It is currently 25,000 years before the Battle of Yavin" 😂

I wonder if nightsisters can be the villains in the Dawn of the Jedi films.
It was amazing! Great episode. Great video!
"Where are the turtles!" needs a tshirt...
The Noti are Space Hobbits.
were they travelling to similar destinations?
"hyperspace just went WOKE..." says haters...😂😂
New Rockstars sounds like he had 48 cups of coffee. Really tiring to listen to, imho.
Stealing other youtuber's content is fucking yikes
What crack are you on clown ??
Many TH-camrs do reactions to others videos. New Rockstars is also aware.
Did it hurt when you were dropped as a baby?
It's not stealing, New Rockstars are actually open to reactors reacting to their content just like a lot of other breakdown channels.
