So I sold my King Hauler, now commissioned to build this trailer and matching Cascadia for his business. Thanks to your videos across the board, this will be another fun build. Pearl White Cab and Red Frame should turn heads.
First time viewer, really nice video! You put it together with good sound and lighting, and you speak CLEARLY! You Tubers, take a lesson from this man!!😊👍
The one I hope to build someday! I wish you had shown the actual building of the Suspension.... It's not obvious to a lot of us. Can't wait to see Cledus Snow's Trailer!!
I really enjoy watching your videos and following along with your custom builds. Have you ever considered trying to convert one of Tamiya’s box trailers into an agricultural hopper bottom grain trailer? I’ve been tempted to try to build one myself, but I’m not sure my fabrication skills are up to it. Please keep your build videos coming, your efforts are much appreciated!
Yes had to pull it from a bogus copyright claim out of Sweden of all places. You Tube makes it super easy for anyone to claim a copyright and I did not want to mess with fighting it.
So Four years later, same customer wants another tractor trailer combination. I was totally stoked about doing another build until I just discovered that this trailer is nowhere to be had for purchase….. at any price. Hercules doesn’t copy this one yet. Big Bummer!!! But client still wants a build, and Cascadia is disconnected so a Knight Hauler is almost certainly a Freightliner clone. Pearl white and deep pearl green frame and stripes matching. Any info on your side about trailer kits??
Nice video I saw your Smokey and bandit set up awhile ago on eBay for sale. I would like to get a sweet lowboy for my grand hauler. What’s your input on which to get. I’m seeing more and more of people running the one you can find on eBay from China.. they look pretty cool.
Hey Bob, Have you ever tried building a container trailer without the kit. I would love to try but have no idea where to start. Something similair to your Hmtt Custom build. I'm guessing you would still use the axle and wheel kit at some point.
Tamiya has several different trailers. Check the Tamiya website for details. Selection varies by country. Also many other manufacturers make trailer for them.
Some jerk in Sweden had You Tube take it down in a copyright strike. He does not even own a copyright but I did not want to spend the energy to fight it.
Nice build but not much can be done with a trailer like that, a flatbed would be a better choice for me...and as with most Tamiya kits way overpriced...seeing if the upcoming celebrations will have a sale....luv your vids particularly on the MFC and self centering kit for the flysky controllers....
Honestly these trailers are unrealistically short. These trailers don’t even look 40 ft long. At most they are 35 ft long, and also American trucks pull 53 ft trailers, which are much longer than these ones.
Still loving these builds you do.
Just wonderful 😊
Can't wait to see this Smokey and the bandit trailer! Loved that movie growing up. Heck I still watch them every chance I can! Lol
I found that cutting strips of the paper thin foam sheets works perfectly for making the trailers stop rattling,!

Thats a nice build on this dry van! Awesome video & thanks for sharing!

I screwed up the video of building the axles/suspension. Check out the suspension build on my King Hauler its is much the same. Thanks! Bob
HI BOB another awesome build love the show ...so glad you're back in full swing
im amazed at the materials used to make trailer for a model truck . It looks like your building a go kart
I suggest fitting '5-lug spider hubs' to the Smokey & The Bandit trailer to make it more accurate.
Enjoying you videos
Well done sir
Almost done a globe liner your videos have helped a lot

I have not tried that but will be converting some Tamiya trailers to other styles in future videos. First will probably be a lowboy.
Thanks, Bob!
I like this Sir..
Love the trailer wish I could afford one!
We now need you to invest in the Tamiya fuel tanker kit.
You are hero sir
Thanks for uploading
thank you
Did you ever make the bandit video
Got taken down due to a bogus copyright claim, from Sweden of all places!
What is the inside dementions of the box trailer? Building a 1/14 scale loading docks and want to cut the doors of the dock to correct size
Bad ass brother..
Waiting for the 802 trailer build
So what happened to the smoking abandoned trailer build
Do you have a video showing the build of the Knight Hauler? I would like to see that.
Not yet, someday.....
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Will you or are you going to carry the Cascadia in your store?
I really enjoyed that series of videos.
Tamiya discontinued the Cascadia
Would like to see you do a build like a fire truck with lights? Also where do u buy these type of builds from?
How tall are the fifth wheels off the ground on these trucks?
What would be the best way to add marker lights to this trailer?
I either drill through the frames and notch the side panels or add a small aluminum channel underneath and add lights there.
Cant find the smokey and the bandit trailer build.
Did you have to pull it of channel for some reason

Cool damn cool man

Generally I have found it best to start with a full kit. You get all the tires/axles/susepension parts you need plus lots of parts. Then modify away!
can we buy these in canada
Screws or glue?
Both
About how long did it take to put together. Thxs
I can build one one in a few hours. First time count on 4-5 hours.
Hello Sir
Can you tell me the measurements for the trailer please
Leonard
❣️
Are there European scale trailers for tamiya trucks?
Tamiya has several different trailers. Check the Tamiya website for details. Selection varies by country. Also many other manufacturers make trailer for them.

@@HobbyconceptsLLC Now that's a bummer! Sorry for that Bob I was really looking forward to seeing you lay the decals down on the Box trailer.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Its been 3 years so post up the Smokey and the Bandit trailer. Guy probably got a life by now. COVID is over lol
Is there a link to this trailer kit. Im looking to do my first build and id like a tractor trailer setup. Any ideas or rc kits youd recommend?
Just go on eBay and search "Tamiya 56302"
Tell me the price of this car

It’s equivalent to 32’. Which I agree is too short

Tell me how much is this car i live in pakistan i want it
amigo usted es buena persona regaleme un tamiya asi sea sin remolque solo el tractor y el control remoto
Ig i build it i would not put the trailer fenders and put the axles as far back to the trailer doors as possible
Bob's great at building the trucks and trailers, but he has NO idea how to open the boxes! I hope he's improved in the later videos...
Hello?
If you're doing unboxings, learn to open boxes .
