Well I had a girl in my class that I considered to be perfect. Smart, super kind, social, fun and incredibly beautiful. But unfortunately her story took a very dark turn not long before graduation. Her father brutally murdered her mother right in front of her. To make matters worse it was the first murder of the year, so news reporters went crazy. They even harassed us (her classmates) at school since she was in the mental hospital at first where they couldn't reach her. When we wanted to pay our respect at her house we had to sneak there at night bc the news reporters where absolutely everywhere and they were ruthless. Eventually she returned to school and tried to still be the person she always used to be, but it was very noticeable that she was not ok. She still managed to graduate without issue, despite her trauma. Not long after her father committed suicide in jail, but she said she didn't care about his death, since to her he was already dead. She was cared for by her aunt for a while but now lives an independed life. She got into kickboxing as a way to deal with her frustration. She became great at it and it brought her some comfort. She was a very strong and amazing person back then and she became an even stronger person after all that happened.

I feel so sorry for Op of that last story. As a Christian, I am absolutely disgusted when people claiming to be Christian do this. it's never okay for ANYONE, Christian or not to bully someone. Also, I know Op didn't say but I'm wondering if they ever told their parents about it? or anyone at all. And sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if that girl who was bullying Op didn't have a good home life, not that what she did was right. I also wouldn't be surprised if Op wasn't the kid that girl was bullying.

My 1 problem with the ppl in these stories that "disown" the Christian life style is they all have 1 bad experience with 1 person then decide all Christians are bad. It doesn't really make sense to me. I feel sorry for what they went through 100% but its no reason to bail on your religion bc of 1 bad person in that same religion

OP said: "she was her parents' little princess who could do no wrong" so I assume that OP did complain to adults about the bullying but was swiftly disregarded because the boomers around her didn't want to admit that teenagers can put on a mask in public just like adults.

Recently both of them asked to get me in the Fire Department. They broke there necks and pulled impossible strings to get me an interview. When asked if I'd go to a high school reunion, I told them they could all eat crap. When your class size is 32, you tend to deal with the same people throughout every grade from kindergarten to senior. Rarely did we have any new kids. Most of them were ignorant and arrogant, while few started true to themselves. Mostly they treated everyone terribly and now they aren't worth my time. I don't deal with fake apologies or fake memories that they made up to make it seem like we were close or friends of some sort. There is only 1 person from school that means anything to me and I've walked through hell for that man and his family, and I'd gladly do it again. Now we're related through marriage and our families are great friends. His wife and mine love each other like sisters, our kids love spending time together when we can get together because we live in different states, I was a groomsman at his wedding and he was the best man at my wedding; and my brother was the other best man because my wife said I had to make my brother the best man as well so to avoid any drama. I'd give my life for that man and his family and he would do the same in return.

One of my friends who I still talk to.
He was homeschooled, but I knew him when he went to our private school (he has since graduated), he is very intelligent, and just an all around caring guy who wants to do good. During his highschool days, he was the lead roboticist for his FLL team and his lego robotics league, separate from FLL. He was a police explorer in our local department, he earned the highest awards in our Royal Rangers outpost (think Christian boy scouts). He moved to Montana a month before his 17th birthday. That summer right after he turned 17, he joined his local search and rescue team and the national guard as an analyst (this guy scored a 96 on his ASVAB). During his senior year he put himself through EMT school and became licensed, he was a wildland firefighter that summer and he bounced between a few jobs (he didn't want to do anything with his medical career due to lack of confidence), he has injured himself in a workplace accident which has allowed him to make time for friends and get confidence back. I asked him what his plans for the future were he said "It's either medicine or government contracting work, whichever one does the most good.". What does he do right now? Currently owns a 3D printing business and is apparently starting R&D on SAR UAV. He is also third in command of security at his church

I really don't know how this happened to the one that went to my school. He was the pure definition of "the golden boy" he was a star athlete he was loved by everyone even the teachers he never had a failing grade and even had one of the longest lasting relationships. He started dating this girl in elementary school and they stayed together all the way through high school. (Last I heard they broke up a year after graduation idk why though) But he had scholarships to college and everything but 1 day I called a delivery for pizza and he was the one that delivered to me. I asked what happened and he didn't tell me anything but "It just fell apart man" then he left and we haven't spoken since. That was 2 years ago now last I saw he was still working as a delivery boy

I've got one. The perfect boy from my school was on the basketball team (which where I'm from, this sport is like a religion) and was very popular with everyone, despite being egotistical and a bit of a bully to people he thought were beneath him. One day, news got out that he was caught in the locker room in the shower with his teammate's mother, a member of the school board. She was let go from the board, and he was booted from the team. I felt sorry for the poor teammate who was made fun of because of his mother's actions, but interestingly, the popular kid was ostracized rather than congratulated for doing that to a close friend. P.S. Yes, he was a minor. Yes, she was married, and no, they are not "together" anymore.

There were a lot popular "perfect" people in my high school, but I'll just go with two of them for now. One guy and one girl. The guy was a really nice guy (not really someone, I'd call my friend though), everyone loved him at my school, handsome, tall, athletic, smart, always the class president. When he graduated from high school, he went to college for business and now owns his own gym. He seems to doing very well for himself. As for the girl, she was liked well enough, but she always was a bully to me, she was stunning, short, smart and athletic ( head cheerleader). I guess she's doing well for herself, I don't talk to her, but I do know she went to college after high school to be scientist of some sort and I've seen out her and about and she looks like she's doing well so.

I was friends with a kid who was every parent's dream come true. Smart. Funny. Charming. Caring. Handsome. I moved 120 miles away after 9th grade and we didn't see each other again. He became a juris doctorate graduate who once spent his own money to fly to Beaumont, Texas for spring break helping victims of Hurricane Rita submit FEMA paperwork so they could get on with their lives. You can imagine my shock when his obituary was published shortly after his 36th birthday. Turns out, he apparently hit the sauce hard in college. He stole $1000 of merchandise from a department store that netted community service in lieu of 30 days in jail. He got disbarred on a controversial charge of lying on a resume. He got acquitted on a drunk driving charge due to a technicality, then got convicted on another drunk driving charge. That netted jail time. Then his wife filed for divorce and took their two daughters. He owed $17,000 in alimony and $840 per month in child support. A few years later on a Thursday afternoon, he was pulled over by police for an as-yet unconfirmed reason. That's when he shot himself. His last Facebook photo shows his two adorable daughters with ear-to-ear grins on their faces as if to say "I love my daddy", and his face with a look of "it'll all work out... I hope." Broke my heart.

I have one similar to #9. My best friend from high school is insanely smart and talented; she got good grades in all AP classes (and got mostly 5s on the AP tests), was part of our high school's medical vocational program, and played cello in the orchestra while also pursuing photography and scuba diving as hobbies. You can probably guess from that description that she's also the most type A person I know (think Paris Geller from Gilmore Girls). Sadly, she's always struggled with depression because her dad is an abusive alcoholic. Life after high school started promising; she majored in music composition and biotechnology at a well regarded university and got accepted into an MD/PhD program, but once she started grad school, her mental health issues caught up with her. Last I heard a few years ago, she got kicked out of the medical school, was on sabbatical from the grad school, and was about to be evicted from her apartment. I think I tried calling and texting her a couple of times, but she never responded (and apparently she squandered a good amount of money my parents gave her), and I live in a different state so I don't know how I can help her.

The captain of the football team OD in high school and ended up dead from another OD before 21
The one that wanted to be an actor moved to LA after school and did manage to land a few parts. Of which his biggest credit is a one episode part in a well known DR tv show in which his part was being a patient and consisted in him laying in a bed the entire episode and no speaking parts.

My family life was healthy financially when I was in high school.
What my mother and father would often do was reach out to kids around my age from poorer families and helped them out, occasionally. One of them, who I will call 'Tom', had a strained relationship with his mother and stepfather. He was, however, quite smart with computers and was part of a high school band. His list of talents were expansive, so much so that my parents almost treated him as a prodigal son, whereas I and my creativity was quickly overshadowed.
I don't hate the guy, but when your own parents praise someone else's kids feats over their own, it can be rather discomforting.
After high school, Tom met a woman who was a few years older than him with two young kids. He married her, and things seemed okay. Sure, perhaps he wasn't the big celebrity icon he thought he'd become. He worked with programming, while the music prospects were put on ice.
Unfortunately, Tom and his wife were reported to child protective services for 'mismanagement of children'. Naturally, my parents decided to get involved, as he was almost like a son to them. After a few weeks or so, they managed to have the charges dropped. There was much rejoicing on their end, but it was short lived.
About a month later, my father decided to hop onto facebook, and check his timeline.
Here he finds a self recorded video of Tom, with child B on his lap, less than three years of age and without a seatbelt, and driving down what is clearly an active public street.
    My parents were justifiably angry.

i feel like i was the “perfect one” at my first school. it was a pre-k thru 12th grade private christian school, i was generally well behaved and well liked by teachers, did good in a lot of my classes, and i wasn’t popular but i was known as the smart artsy kid who was probably gonna design stuff for pixar or dreamworks.
i feel i took a lot of people by surprise when i switched schools a couple months thru my last year and graduated w honors in public school. ended up being a two time college dropout working in a warehouse now lol. am also now a pagan, queer, trans guy, that should be a culture shock for anyone who even recognizes me from that private school

Karma can hit people pretty hard if someone's the type of person whose all "I don't need school because I'll the most famous tiktok/instagram influencer/youtuber ever" because they expect to automatically get that because someone else did. Stuff like that doesn't just happen out of nowhere but idiots think it does they're too lazy to do anything about it, if they end up homeless or in a shitty job for virtually no pay its their fault for being so full of themselves.

I never was around the perfect crowd but what my simp chimp self at the time considered the perfect one per se well she never grew out of her psychotic phase, has meth teeth and a hella record. She really had a simple dream too is the sad thing about it. She could have easily achieved her goal but now, well it is sad to see a bird clip its own wings.

It seems like popularity rarely caries over after high school. The really popular kids seemed to end up like everybody else, some found success, other's pretty much failed at life. It was funny, by my 20 year reunion high school popularity meant absolutely nothing, there were "kids" that had been low on the popularity scorecard who were now super successful and popular kids who were living in trailers and on welfare.

No, I have a story I guess it’s on my high school Papa Costco but it’s technically I wanna graduate from a year late after private school so the most popular all is won the most popular girls was the first generation born Chinese American parents immigrate here from China she is the current Miss Tina Wahl state, so Miss teen Rhode Island of a catering Jasso machine Rhode Island 2012 was at the top of a class was featured in are you a Brooks senior spotlight, or shut off the top 10 most six says full strength of our graduating class, but I was also very sweet and kind friendly to everybody even those of us with neurological and other types of disabilities, including myself, was a member of all schools with Bose program which created peer groups between the Neurotypical for able-bodied students in a school with those up with this resident was Elsie. Up with me that year Graduated like top five her class went off to college so I forget what Calls but became a dentist got married a few years ago so keep in touch with her someone on Facebook that’s how I keep up with it and if I’m not mistaken, I just saw a couple of months ago that her and her husband are not expecting the first child together And yet some People in our school thought because of her Chinese heritage that she wouldn’t be able to live up to the expectations that her parents may have had to high expectations for that she may crash and burn by met her parents. They weren’t the typical overbearing Chinese immigrant parents and most people affect, all they want is for their true draws my friend and her younger sister to be happy and be successful in whatever way they saw being successful to be and wow obviously she did not? She graduated. She became a dentist is married and has a child on the way

Let’s see the perfect person was this guy, 6’ 2” blond on the track team, basketball team, basketball team, etc. was dating the hottest cutest girl in school graduated went off to college the girl broke up with him and he unraveled. He stalked he was drunk most of the time and was arrested for undisclosed threats and trespassing on said female. He died of an undisclosed illness, I frankly don’t know or care what happened. Yeah there was that
