Pravus you can cheese the game by doing the same thing. If you put a soldier where insurgents are backing off, insurgents will lose a level of strengh. Repeat this and you can get them to 1 and security can finish them up. But you cant remove the fighting soldier. You have to look at the map and put a soldier to where they are going. Its advised to leave 2 regions of space for insurgents to escape so you have an easier time. This works in the normal game
So attack the insurgents after they retreat to kill more of them?

Azure dam would be interesting. The tank wouldn’t stay in a zone but would try and disrupt the convoys which could make it easier. The hq acts as a garrison so insurgents can’t flee to it. So you only needed 2 soldiers at the beginning.
You can't repair the dam if it's not in the main game.
For real, both coalition and national soldiers forgot to bring their NLAWs to blow the hell out of that tiny tank

Pravus, you weren't losing the reputation because you won too well, you were losing it because the game counted you pulling the troops out as a 'retreat' and that costs you reputation

Omg this reminds me of a movie I watched. These Soviet guys used a tank to escape from a German POW camp, and they kept running around in the tank trying to get to safety, like a one man army, or one tank army.

Random idea. This scenario you had it metaed down pretty good. But have you considered ever recording your practice sessions and make short failure montages?
I like the idea that either the insurgents found a magic tank that can't be destroyed or the soldiers have not been supplied with any equipment that has any anti-tank capabilities and they're forced to just scare them with just regular bullets.
Coalition: "Ehhh, we're fine. The Coalition Command will send some AT weapons soon enough."
Coalition Command: "What, you guys expect AT? Get lost, we need it in the war against your neighbor. Have fun with the tank trio running amok."

To be clear, this is just something i found funny, its not a complaint.
Yeah, the region would have been stabilized faster if he had not only taken more development initiatives, but also outreach initiatives to help roll things out faster.

I really wish you could get this better version of rebel inc on the phone. I bought the full version not too long ago, thinking it was the best version to play, but now there's so much more on the pc version

REPEAT: THE TANK HAS BREACHED CONTAINMENT! I REPEAT: THE TANK HAS BREACHED CONTAINMENT!
So apparently there's an even better way to cheese this now, airstrikes with the Pilot and Squadron Leader advisors. Early game, rush out the intelligence and effective procurement (don't even fund education yet), and get a coalition troop and airstrikes ASAP. If you airstrike the tank as it starts moving, it'll panic and stop moving. Using this, you can keep it trapped in one area way easier. I also highly recommend the intelligence officer to maintain intel on the tank's zone. Drones can help with this, but the intelligence officer plus a soldier adjacent to the tank will ensure you never loose intel, so it can't sneak past you, while also meaning you never have to buy drones (so you actually save a lot of money). Be aware, it seems to me that even if you do this well, the tank will occasionally move before your next airstrike is ready. This always seems to happen to me right at the end. Rapid air rotation can help with this.
This strategy should work with any governor. The Development Director should be good as you don't need many troops, and they can help stabilize zones faster.

The jobs intiative takes time to roll out fully, that's why it stays a persistent local concern. Try urban and rural outreach offices, that way you only have to invest 1 or 2 jobs rather than many.

Vocational training, land rights and export agencies are job initiatives that impact on the whole region, and should be enough to keep job concerns down.
Iv had it where labour strikes wouldnt stop till i gad like 2/3 of the jobs inititives.

yea but for support lvl get the ones that are better in some zones than others livestock development

The best three jobs that I have learned to give the people to make them stop asking for jobs or at least this is in my experience is the bank the market and land rights usually I give them those three things and they stop asking for jobs at least that's in my experience

Pravus, I do not understand why you are upset about the upset pops over jobs. From the 10 possible initiatives, only 4 are selected (and rolling out still). That's at best a 40% cover. Picture this: you are only getting 40% of a car. Technically you have a car but you still won't be able to drive it. Wouldn't you be upset about that either?

Well the thing really is that you do just need like one or two initiatives in jobs to satisfy the immediate concern. The issue is rollout. I find myself waiting on them to actually finish up.
