  • Northfield could see record level flooding along the Cannon River soon. Local business owners are doing what they can to protect property from the flood waters.

Not exactly a tree, since trees have branches, root systems, etc.
One could describe them as "tree trunks" or "tree boles," but technically the tree-sized logs won't necessarily be entire tree trunks, since they may be broken apart.
"Tree-sized logs" is slightly inaccurate due to the fact that the shape of a tree is different from the shape of a tree-trunk, in a similar way to how the the shape of a bicycle frame is different from the shape of a bicycle, since bicycles have wheels and tires, and the shape of a bicycle includes the shape of the wheels and tires.
"Tree-trunk-sized logs" would be more accurate.

@@myblacklab7 well stated. I guess what I meant was, it's a rather strange way to word that sentence.

Heres a suggestion, you might want to stay the heck off the bridges that are having flood waters highly stressing them considering that upkeep is probably highly lacking everywhere just for safety sake even though its not the fun thing to do

The flooding at the Falls reminds me of what it was back in May 2018 Devils Gulch in Garretson. I bet you is incredible right now.

I pray 🙏 for everyone who has been and is still being affected by drought, heatwaves, wildfires, flooding, and sinkholes as a direct result of the climate change crisis and global warming as well as your government mismanagement.
I am informing you that there's a viable solution to mitigate climate change crisis and global warming together with all the devastations they are causing, but your governments have to approve the solution
    Stay safe in the meantime
