My manual E92 335i with the N55 also did 3k rpm at 80mph which I didn't mind too much and gave me 34-36mpg but I agree with you, 6th can definitely be longer with this engine
The brakes are fine you need a set on Endless pads and some Racing fluid in it. Also helps if you can add some extra cooling to them, people use them all the time with stock brakes on the ring with no issues
Thanks a lot. Completely agree with you. Also - one poor in manual is a Throttle Delay Lag. Car looks amazing in real world, much more then on social media. Gear shifter knob - MOMO recommended - Alcantara ULTRA ball knob, it's amazing, one billion times faster shifting. Also want - required gear shifting lights.. at dashboard
No rattles in mine as you know 😊 I’ve also recently added M Coilovers and it’s still quite stiff on the default settings but handles even better than stock!
Mine had only rattles from the MPE but that will be fixed this week, the other hate comes from the armrest sliding when you don't want that. The rest is all loves 🙂
Ive had my lci about 5 weeks,fantastic car,except,when driving i have a high pitch rattle which I’m trying to locate sounds plasticky but tried a few fixes but cant get rid of it,apart from this its is the best car I’ve owned.
I think you are unlucky , I have no rattles in the cabin at all although mines an LCI . Also with the LCI you get a large digital speedo which I always use , I never look at the dials. The one thing that annoys me is the beeping when you reverse and it won’t shut off even when put it into neutral , bar that I love everything else . Where did you get your mirrors ? Are they caps or whole units ? I have LBB also
Maybe it’s just my luck or the fact that this car spent all its life on B roads which are far from being smooth. LCI has a nice digital speedo. I miss that. The reverse bip is annoying. The mirrors are whole units from AutoID. I have a video about it from about 3 years ago.
Watch out for the paint at your door sills, I see your driver side is already pretty scratched up from the door closing, there is a PUMA from BMW for this and also some pre cut ppf you can apply to stop it from damaging the paint even further
Just an observation but do you have a black line tail light on the left and a regular one on the right? 👀 I ask because when I ordered mine I got a mismatching set and had to swap one out!

I will be replacing discs for new genuine ones with endless pads. I already have rbf600 and braided lines.

I have M performance steering wheel so I have shift lights. They are useful.

@ if i can get rid of the rattle,been out today and over rough road surface its almost unbearable but over good smooth road it goes away 🤷♂️

I do have a ppf on it but there was some damage before I applied it.

Eagle eye! Yes, I will be swapping the old one as lately a lot of water collects in my right tail light.
