Your dogs are beautiful! And I like the music. I've heard that if you fill a Kong completely and freeze it then it lasts the longest. But it's best to use something healthy (like water soaked kibble) if it will end up being a big portion of daily calories
thank you! yes you are right, frozen kong is even better! I often use just their regular sausage meat mixed with a bit of pumpkin and canned sardines, and give it in a kong as part of their after-dinner healthy 'desert' 😊
@@oringomakenabasenjitrainin6407 There's a frame for the lickimats, and that was a lifesaver (or at least a lickimat saver) for us. It's amazing how quickly they can damage things, even if you're watching and ready to step in!
I found licky bowl with bone shape inside the bowl lasts twice longer than lickymat. Frozen kong also lasts about 20 min. I see you are back to two dogs, Has your rescue pup ipy found a home?😊
that's interesting, I need to look up that licky bowl! oh yes, frozen kongs are great! but most of the time I am too poorly organised to have them prepared in advance 🙈 no Ipy is still with us! she appears in this video with a snuffle mat and a kong 😊 her rehabilitation is challenging and takes a long time, I think at least another 6 months she will be staying with us...
thats great, I am also always mindful of giving my dogs healthy food and treats! I use youghurt, cooked pumpkin and other vegetables, like cauliflower, green beans, broccoli etc., canned sardines (no salt or oil added), peanut butter without any additives (one teaspoon maximum), cooked lean kangaroo meat 😊
