About this travel video: First Time In BRAZIL - First Impression of BRAZIL (What Surprises Us About Brazil) 🇧🇷
Brazil was actually one of the highlights of our trip to South America in 2020. From culture, food, people, scenery, Brazil literally has everything to offer everyone. The main first impression in Brazil that you will get is that you will probably shock/surprise on how diverse it is, together with beautiful landscapes.
In this video, we reveal our first impression on our trip in Brazil together as a mixed traveling couple. We cover the first impression aspect on Brazilian food, Brazilian people, Brazilian culture as well as social norm of Brazil; the way they hang out, what not to do in Brazil, and of course the first impression on Brazil tourism which you can find more in this travel video on how it is like traveling in Brazil
All in all, we wish you find this video helpful to plan out your trip in Brazil either one day trip, short term, or long term travel. by no mean, we are criticizing the country or people of Brazil. We just want to share our thought and experience to help you manage your expectation based on our travel experience in Rio de Janeiro state as we do believe that knowing what you can expect will totally make your trip more amazing as well.
Last but not least! We surely believe you will love Brazil. Have fun if you are planning to travel there!

I practically never comment on TH-cam videos but as a brazilian living abroad I've found quite interesting some stuff you pointed out and here's my thoughts:
#10 Yes, in Brazil the way you dress reveals more about you than your skin tone. So, if you all dressed at the beach or hanging a camera in front your chest, we know you're probably a tourist.
#9 Drinking coffee after dinner it's definitely not common sense in Brazil. It's more for an mid's age person's habit or coffee affictionists. That woman really loves coffee, but most people only drinks eventually, and some don't even like it.
#8 Plus, it's not really rare to drink coffee on what we call an "american glass", slightly bigger than those tea-cups we've seen on this video. So, if you're thinking our coffee cup it's too small, it's because you've probably never drank coffee in Italy hahaha , that's small!!!
#7 Number of cheek kisses it really depends and varies according to the area, but 3 kisses it's more likely to single people I guess, but despite of that, it can be very popular in some places. If you're married or have a partner, it can be sound a bit needless 3 kisses. It's kinda personal, but no one will be rude to you because of that. But let's say if you're on a party and a friend of you come with someone to introduce to you, it can be very normal to kiss 3 times. For me, one is enough.
#6 Food by weight, most known as "self-service" by brazilians. Very popular.
#5 About the sellers at the beach... well, they're clever 😂 don't give them a chance.
#4 Eating pizza with fingers... well, that's what convinced me to leave a comment. It's simple, indeed: it's hygienic, and it's cultural. Some people might find it's common but for most brazilian, we'd rather use a fork and knife. At home, and informally, eventually we may do that. Napkins are necessary all the time, and that's what shocked me most when I first came to London. Why the hell the food don't come accompanied with napkins? Nowadays we're always holding our smartphones, getting the public transport, etc. That's dirty! How people dare... I don't get it 🤔 Also, in Brazil it's very common to see the pastries, burguers and hot dogs being served on a small plastic "bag", so you can eat without messing it all while you keep your hands clean.
#3 We usually go to beach to do stuff we can't do inside our houses, haha. 😂 That's why we usually don't enjoy reading books or stuff like that on the beach. Plus, not all of us are fans of the "banana hammocks". We also love the board shorts as we can see on the video, but yer, that speedo-style it's very popular.
#2 Well, skin contact it's another thing very cultural. It's kinda way to demonstrate we like you or we're well involved on a chat.
#1 Yerr, +3 points to Rio.
Thank you for this video featuring the best of Rio. 🇧🇷♥️ I wish you can visit us again and experience always the best from our people.

#3 o mar também é super agradável e sem tubarão (alô Califórnia!) por isso também muitos preferem aproveitar a água haha
