Loved your video, meanly because I was born and lived in Rio all my life (ain't that lucky?) A pity you had few time to really explore our city. Rio de Janeiro is much bigger than many european or american cities. We have the biggest single florestal park inside a city in the world!!!! Tijuca Florest National Park is huge. There are even living onças (pumas) moving free inside the Park, amongst other wild animals. They are very shy so they don't come close to humans. In other park at Barra da Tijuca, on the west part of Rio, there are marshes with living jacarés (a kind of alligator) moving free by the streets. People there are so accostumed they don't even pay attention. In a street on Flamengo there are groups of monkeys living on tree tops that enters the buindings to steal food (mostly fruits or candys). On the other corner of Copacabana there are tucanos and papagaios flying free. Have you seen our City aquarium, the Aqua Rio? Could you take a helicopter fligt over the city? Have you been on a samba night club? There are many things to do here in Rio. Hope you come back. Greetings from Brasil

Also, feijoada is the dish with all the pork meat on it. The plain beans with only garlic (and onions sometimes) we call simply "feijão". The black one is more common in Rio, in other places of Brazil you will find mostly the brown one.

I'm brazilian and feijoada is not actually a sauce... it's a typical recipe and people usually eat it with rice, just like that popular meal And the song at 10:56 is "Tarde em Itapuã", by Toquinho
What a crazy coincidence, I'm from Cape Town South Africa and I stayed in the exact apartment in Rua Sá Ferreira when I lived in Rio a few years back. I hope you guys figured out the shortcut through the subway to get to the other side of the metro in Ipanema (Praça General Osório square) close to Canastra bar. Brazil is too big, Rio is just a tiny part of it. I wonder how you would've felt had you had the opportunity to visit other Brazilian states. I've been in almost all Brazilian states and it's a life changing experience. It also makes you look at Rio as just a commonplace destination.

Thank you, guys, for bringing me back such a good memories from my country. I miss that shit! Next year I am coming back.
Thank you so much for watching!
Btw that area is not the Downtown. The city centre is about 10 kilometers to the North of Copacabana district.
Thank you! We knew it was close :)
Come to Fortaleza and Caucaia, they have amazing beaches and cheapest hotels. Sun is very strong, bring up your best sun block and sun glasses. Cocconut water is the cheapest and very tasty.
Wow,,i am very happy ,, you visited my country ,, i would like to meet all too. thank you
We wish we could stay longer in Brazil ! The country is so diverse !:)

I'm brazilian and feijoada is not actually a sauce... it's a typical recipe and people usually eat it with rice, just like that popular meal
And the song at 10:56 is "Tarde em Itapuã", by Toquinho
Ive just cryed during the sunrise
Oh God, I love my Brazil S2
We love it as well!
they didn't just ran out of banana, they actually charge as a topping hahahahah
Voltem sempre ao Rio/Brasil ❤❤❤❤
What a crazy coincidence, I'm from Cape Town South Africa and I stayed in the exact apartment in Rua Sá Ferreira when I lived in Rio a few years back. I hope you guys figured out the shortcut through the subway to get to the other side of the metro in Ipanema (Praça General Osório square) close to Canastra bar. What a time saver when commuting back and forth.
Hey, I'm from Brazil and i want to visit South Africa. Is it true cape town looks like Rio?
All your travel needs in a carry on? Wow. You guys are awesome. Stay safe in NY. WhTs the next trip??? Jim and Tah stay safe. When is the weeding?? Lol
We aren't sure just yet! Trying to figure that out!
FILIPINOS ADORE BRAZILIANS ! THERE ARE BRAZILIANS CELEBRITY MODELS LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES !
We don't care! 😏
I Care. Who ARE they?
That models is almost From others states. We could say From Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais!

Brazil is much more...
I invite you to get to know Paraty RJ, Itatiaia RJ, Penedo, Ouro Preto MG (this is beautiful) and cities in the South of Brazil
Love your video. Açaí the one that you ate the banana is mixed with.
I was in Brazil around the same time you guys were, not Rio this time but i was in Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo Beautiful place and people are so nice cant wait to go again. I did however get Covid-19 in the Sao Paulo air point but that is no ones fault we did not know anything about the Virus then.
Brazil is too big, Rio is just a tiny part of it. I wonder how you would've felt had you had the opportunity to visit other Brazilian states. I've been in almost all Brazilian states and it's a life changing experience. It also makes you look at Rio as just a commonplace destination.
We have so much to see!
@@DivertLiving Hope you have the opportunity to. You're gonna experience so many great things, if you do. Rio is a nice starting point but definitely just a small glimpse of Brazil. Best wishes to you both. 🙂✌🏻
Cant agree more.. Brazil is huge and theres lot of epics, gorgeous place to visit, last time i traveled around I went to NATAL - praia da pipa, and I loved everything.
But have you been to Acre though?😂
Great video!
Go to São Paulo next. You guys already know how it looks to have all those cultures mixed in a beach environment, how about exactly that but in one of the world's biggest city? It's a very cosmopolitan experience, but still very brazilian.
Haha I've gotten used to 5 am wake ups too 😂 he doesn't always manage to get me up but when he does, it's really worth it 😅 beautiful sunrise 🌅
It was well worth it!
So glad to see gringos having good time in Brazil despite of all the problems and being able to travel, experiment food, songs, places and everything ...
great video guys, come back more times and please bring your friend, the world hasn’t yet discovered Brazilian fully

, Balneario Camburiu and Guarda do imbau is wonderful
Voltem sempre para conhecer mais 🥰😍😉❤️
7:57 Black beans isn't common in the State I live on, but we are aware that in Rio de Janeiro they like it most. we prefer "brown" beans here in Minas Gerais and use Black beans on special occasions, for "feijoada" by example.
We have many problems to fix, but I love this country. Nice video guys
Beautiful video !! Keep doing y’all thing!!!
Thank you so much!
Wish I spent more time at the beach when I went to Rio!
I have priority pass now. Can’t wait to use it.
Thankyou for another awesome video guys, boy am I busting to get travelling again, 🙏🙏🙏 us nomads feel so stuck at the moment 🤣 after isolation when returning from Bali and it was a ghost town for the past few days back there in March, I was thinking well there goes any travel for me till at least Christmas. Happy travels and stay safe guys. Sending you love, protection and lots of fun times. 💃🕺🇦🇺 from Oz
Funny I spent my entire Rio trip at the Termas, lol. Nice to see some of the stuff i missed .
You really felt safe walking around with your camera gear. I'm planning at trip out there but very nervous about bringing my nice camera.
I live in the US and I'm from Brazil sadly I've never been to Rio before :( nice video!
Just a correction, if you may: that's not feijoada on 7:37 . It's just cooked bean (feijão).
You guys should get a gigsky data SIM card i use it on all my trips abroad and it works great! They different data plans usually 1,2 or 5 gigs. It’s costs different wherever you go but always reasonable prices and you can usually find coupon codes, I just noticed they don’t have coverage in Brazil but it’s great in Europe
BRAZIL, MY HOUSE, MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY . 🇧🇷❤
2:07 is a really good moment to pause the video lol
